yeah Malaysian oil brought in competition in d market down but as at yesterday the prices have started appreciating. Just linger on a little before disposing your oil.

Presently oil price has not dropped in Akwa ibom. Inshort it's on the increase. only few villages sell unrefined oil at less than 9.5k as I speak.
I'd collate the price update soon and drop it for consumption. meanwhile, feel free to report from your location on price

In biz, you'd need to study the trend and price fluctuations to be successful.
However the odd looks, local producers are not completely loosing, the only issue is knowing when to hoard and when to sell. Above all avoid being selfish.

Abuja is 12500 and wuse market 13k
Lagos is still on the low side(10500-11k)
Kano is 11500
jos is 11500-11800
Jigawa is 12k

it won't favor importers currently with the huge levy and taxes imposed on palm oil. everything working in favour of local producers and I must confess it's a pretty good year
