BALLOSKI: you just seem to know a lot about Kogi politics.
There must be some connection between Ebira and igara or igara and Igala. The connection might have originated from our immigration history. |

omolami: Pdp must challenge the decision by Inec. what authority does Inec has to arrive at this decision? Is Inec the court to interpreted the constitutional lacuna? What happened was not envisaged by Inec Acts and Nigeria's Constitution, therefore it's the court that can interpreted and state next line of action not Inec who is already toeing APC line.. Inec is biased to the core on this issue. Just like someone earlier asked, if the PDP is leading in an Election of about 500,000 registered voters and a candidate of a small Party dies who has recorded just 1,000 votes and there's still a supplementary Election ahead, would you expect INEC to call off the Election and order for a fresh one? Wouldn't you oppose that decision? Whatever they do today would be noted down be Observers so as to avoid such issues whenever it arises. |

CACAWA: Fact i sthat no matter who APC wins, whether Igala supports or not, APC will already win,
because, the gap is already 41,000 votes, and out of the 49,000 people that can vote in the supplementary election, only 25,000 have PVCs.
I trust Tinubu to push for Faleke by all means He shouldn't try that. He shouldn't dare impose anybody on anybody. The people of Kogi or Kogi APC members should be let to choose their Candidate, afterwards, Falake would be made his running-mate (that's if he's not the Party's choice for Governor). If they choose a non-Igala man at this crucial time, he may not last 6 months there. The Igalas control their House of Assembly and they can impeach anybody at any time. |

Politics › Re: Some Of The Unforgetable Things That Kogi State Benefited From Late Prince Audu by donphilopus: 3:11pm On Nov 24, 2015 |
Most people always call him a thief. They said he was accused of stealing N11b from the State' Treasury. But those same people who accused him of doing so have people like Tinubu, Jolly Nyame, Kwankwaso, James Ibori, Lucky Igbinedion, DSP/GEJ, Mbadinaju, Osoba, Ladoja, Lafiagi, Bafarawa, et al, as their leaders and mentors. If Audu should steal N11b, I believe most of the aforementioned people would have stolen more than 20b and above during their time. They only brought up the case of Audu during Electioneering Campaign. Did we hear of this last year? Abeg joor!!
As far as I'm concerned, 90 - 95% of Igalas love him, while outsiders (within Kogi) also believe him. If he enjoys the support and backing of his people, then we have nothing to say because it doesn't affect us. |

obailala: @snailspeed The Nigerian educational system is bad, but it isn't as bad as we might want to paint it. The irony of the matter you raised and your accusations of the other lad is that you aren't actually as smart as you think you are. Next time, you should slow down on the insults and seek for understanding before you proceed to attack people's intelligence and expose your own ignorance.
Now to the topic, Channels TV obviously did not present the results in a clear enough manner for people who aren't too intelligent to understand, so neither you nor the people you insulted can be blamed here. Now a little explanation:
Total Valid Votes = 459,983 Total Rejected Votes = 21,351 Total Votes Cast = [Valid Votes] + [Rejected Votes] = 481,334
After elections, results in some areas were cancelled... Total Cancelled Votes = 49,953
Now this 49,953 cancelled votes are a part of the Total Valid Votes (481,334). So using simple arithmetic approach, we should be subtracting the 49,953 from the Total Valid Votes and not adding it to arrive at 531,287 (like Channels TV has done). I hope I am clear enough? We Edolites are arithmetically blessed. Nice one! |

meforyou1: they wount support James because he's a christain. meanwhile, you have so many igalas that are christains. i just dont know their problem It's just bigotry. Since the people need change at all cost, I believe they would prefer an Igala Christian to a nonperforming Igala Muslim (Wada). |

Augustbreak: Yes.the muslims love him so much but the christains does not. There was a time he wanted running for Governor, his intended deputy was also a muslim.I doubt if the Igala Christains will vote for him. That's very bad. According to my friend, he said he's the most loved person in Igala land after Audu. |

kahal29: Have confirmed it. He is from Dekina LGA and wada is from their too. Then he should replace Audu that's if the fanatics would like to support a Christian. And others wouldn't like to vote a man from Wada's LGA as his replacement. |

Augustbreak: Echocho is not the fan of the Christains because he is a fanatic but I guess James Ocholi will not be a bad Idea. Wow. . .Maybe that's the reason my Muslim friend from Igala loves him so much. That my friend also sounds like a fanatic. Though his parents are Christians but he's a Muslim who doesn't like accompanying anybody to Church either for Thanksgiving or any other thing. |

kahal29: Now in this instance the time for primary has elapsed and so let's work with what we have for now which is the result of the earlier primary. From the list of candidates that participated in the said primary who amongst them from Igala axis should the party go for. You can also help out to classify the candidates according to their tribes. You know I'm not from Kogi State though very closed to Kogi. Apart from Abatemi and Yahaya Bello, I don't know if there's any other Egbira there. I also saw it somewhere here that one Sanusi is Igala and I believe those with Yoruba names are from the Kabba (Okun) axis [Kogi West]. If they're to choose among those who contested against him and they insist on Igala person, then Sanusi comes to mind. BTW, what part of Kogi is Barr. James Ocholi (SAN) from? |
Politics › Re: Who Amongst These APC Candidates Should Replace Audu In The Dec 5 Supp Polls? by donphilopus: 9:33am On Nov 24, 2015 |
kahal29: Hahahaha. I see you I would have suggested that Yahaya Bello replaces him. But he's from Kogi Central and the Igalas would hardly vote (for) him. It would be better if APC conducts another Primaries and open door for new Aspirants like Jubrin Isah Echocho. Aside the late Audu, that's the only man who I feel can stand Wada in Igala land. |

I hope get? Cheers Thought you were talking of land mass. Anyway, if you still meant land mass, then Akoko Edo and Gboko, I'm sure are bigger than Dekina. If you talk of population, Alimosho is more populated than Dekina. |
