Finally we're in the Nigeria's 2019 general election year. A lot had been said about this election, not different from others in recent times. In 2015, Nigerians needed this much change that they decided to vote out PDP in favor of APC. Four years down the line, Nigerians are agitating, with records of the country now world capital for extreme poverty, insecurity as seen in Boko Haram killings as well as herdsmen in certain parts of the country which seem to had defiled every solution. Some claimed the APC led government is fighting a selective war in its corruption mantra, targeted at the members of the main opposition party PDP. PMB had also been accused of running a lawless government, giving to the use of security apparatus to intimidate other arms of government with latest being the removal of the CJN Onnoghen Walter, as well neglecting court orders at different occasions. Nigerians are said to be grossly underfed, inflation raising to the high heavens without an end in view, despite being technically out of recession. PDP were accused to had run a corrupt government in past, looted our common destinies black and blue as such should not be allowed to return to power. With its Presidential candidate being accused as one of the grandfathers of corruption, whose activities in the past government has endangered so many opportunities. Amidst all these, here we are today in 2019 in preparation for general election. The question is, as a true Nigerian have you secured your PVC. Is your mind stationed towards voting whoever you think can lead Nigeria right to the promised land? It's time to take our collective destinies into our own hands. We've ran down one another in this forum in recent months supporting whoever we deem fit here. It's time to take the proper action, our votes should count and not our words anymore. Are you ready for this task? If you're ready "Kindly show your PVC." Proudly Nigerian!!

AmazingELixir:If you understand CBN broadcast while it withdrew Skye Bank license on 24th September 2018. You'll remember they'd say Skye bank license has been withdrawn is now a "bridge bank" called Polaris bank limited. Going by the "bridge bank", it apparently means the bank is on transit and will be sold as soon as they get buyer. AMCON invested N386b, they'll have to get this money back. So it's still the normal transition process, no cause for alarm and no body should induce the public into panic. |
adekennis:Not at all, whatever fix deposit you have with them is safe and sound. There's no cause for panic. |
And what do you call "Trader Moni" Vote selling? INEC should stop all these nonsense propaganda let's here word. INEC have been bought, they ain't independent but an extension of the ruling cabal. |
Do you mean ogbu ngwa ngwa

Boko Haram fighters have told civilians in northeast Nigeria to leave their homes, the army said on Thursday, as tensions mount in the long-running conflict. Army spokesman Onyema Nwachukwu said there was “credible information” the jihadists had “infiltrated some villages” near the Borno state capital Maiduguri. “They have clandestinely been going about threatening innocent residents, warning them to vacate their homes,” he said in a statement. A member of the civilian militia told AFP earlier this week that Boko Haram had warned people in Jakana village to leave by Wednesday as they were going to launch a major attack. On Wednesday, the army stepped up stop and search operations on the main road heading west out of Maiduguri, on which Jakana lies. Warnings are also reported to have been given to locals in Mainok, which is on the same route leading to Damaturu, the capital of neighbouring Yobe state. Nwachukwu described the threats as “psychological war” and urged residents to report suspicious activity. Nigeria’s government and military has repeatedly claimed the Islamist militants have been weakened to the point of defeat but attacks have persisted. On Wednesday, the United Nations said more than 30,000 people had fled their homes in the Baga area of northern Borno after attacks from an Islamic State group-backed Boko Haram faction. The attacks were the latest against military installations and soldiers that have increased since July last year. The military has rejected suggestions the jihadists are resurgent.

okakanda4040:Think some bloggers should apply for English lessons!!! How can you murder English with reckless abandon, yet it made the front page. Nairaland and its' mods should select carefully what they move to front page, stop making a mess of our academic process. However, sincerely regrets the death of Baden. |

He must be a patient gentleman, order wise this union should had just been over. We understand one thing from her statement, the husband is a paedophile point blank. Feel sorry for this man. .That's what you get when civilization overrides tradition, rubbish. |
Until we answer the following questions on Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria, we are far from starting any war not to talk of winning any. 1. Who are the sponsors of Boko Haram insurgents? 2. How do they get so equipped with sophisticated arms, that our soldiers can't rely on theirs for a combat? 3. Has the Presidency under PMB at any point paid ransom to Boko Haram? 4. If the answer to my third question is yes, who then are their spokes persons, and how much was disbursed in total? 5. Is the federal government really telling the truth about soldiers vs Boko Haram mortality rate? 6. Has the media under reported the true state of casualties in this duel? 7. Why did it take Mr President one week to react to the recent killings of 118 soldiers in Metele? 8. Is Governor Shettima still playing ignorant of the Chibok girls script? 9. Why has the united Nations chosen to sit back, fold their thoughts and hands, but rather watch us in our calamity? Most thought provoking is 10. Who created Boko Haram? Until we truly look deep down into our very subconsciousness and provide genuine answers to these questions, I'm afraid..... An agenda is about to be accomplished, don't doubt me, time has more revelations to offer. #Raphael. |
