Hulk Hogan still unknowingly retweeting celebrity pictures as Rio Ferdinand and Drake appear on under-fire former WWE star's Twitter. It's not a good time to be Hulk Hogan. The wrestling icon saw his WWE contract terminated with immediate effect last week after a leaked audio recording revealed him making racial slurs, his history with the brand was completely erased from their website, and now he's retweeting pictures of black Arsenal players who he believes are supporting him and claiming he's not a racist. Online trolls are targeting the 61-year-old with tweets that appear to offer support to the under-fire wrestler. In a string of pictures, different users have sent messages that claim Hogan is not a racist and they still love him, along with supposed pictures of themselves asking for a retweet. However, the pictures clearly aren’t of them, and instead have shown Arsenal players Danny Welbeck alongside Jack Wilshere, former Arsenal stars Emmanuel Eboue and Andrey Arshavin and current Liverpool defender Kolo Toure. @HulkHogan this is me and my mate, we know you're not racist! Ignore the press and haters we love you brother!! pic.twitter.com/Lvk0Gqi3Cb Ethan Morley (@ethanmorleyy) July 27, 2015 @HulkHogan me and my brother Andrey are life long hulkamaniacs can we get an RT BROTHER. pic.twitter.com/5XXNbucegM Craig (@KoscielnyFC) July 27, 2015 @HulkHogan i am Ivorian and i love you brother, you're not a racist, u are the best, don't let the media get to you! pic.twitter.com/Op04YxEXFd Hulkfan17 (@WarDesperados) July 27, 2015 Hogan has retweeted the messages, completely oblivious to who those in the pictures actually are, and led to a number of further tweets criticising the ‘Hulkster’ for his unintentional error. Hogan has previous when it comes to retweeting ill-advised tweets, having republished pictures of murderer Raoul Moat, missing girl Madeleine McCann and Austrian paedophile Josef Fritzl. Despite the tweets being sent in his direction on Sunday, Hogan clearly hadn't learnt his lesson as the barrage continued on Monday. The pick of the bunch came when an image of rapper Drake alongside former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand appeared on his Twitter feed, and it was soon followed by more familiar faces from the Premier League, as West Ham's Mauro Zarate and Adrian and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku were included. Even former Arsenal defender Martin Keown made an appearance alongside current Gunners midfielder Mathieu Flamini. @HulkHogan Everybody says stuff from time to time, don't forget, me and my dad will always have your back brother pic.twitter.com/rtogY2EbOI Monkey D. WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.” http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/wwe-mma-wrestling/hulk-hogan-retweets-pictures-of-kolo-toure-gervinho-and-danny-welbeck-as-twitter-trolls-target-former-wwe-star-after-racial-slur-10418105.html

Four persons were nearly burnt to death when the vehicle they were in went into flames at Kagini, along Abuja-Zuba Expressway, yesterday. An eyewitness said the accident happened around 5:30 a.m., involving three male and one female in an unmarked Peugeot J5 bus loaded with tomatoes. City News learnt that the victims were traveling from Gboko, Benue State, with their goods to Dei-Dei, Abuja, when the driver suddenly lost control of the wheels and crashed into a ditch. “The driver who seems not to be familiar with the road was trying to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle when he suddenly crashed into the culvert,” the witness said. He said the vehicle immediately went into flames, leaving the occupants with various degrees of burns. He added that the combined team of officers from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the police rescued the passengers. A member of the traders association which three of the victims belonged to, told our reporter that the incident was the third involving their members since the beginning of the year. The member, who simply identified himself as Dahiru, attributed the accident to the narrowness of that section of the road, calling on the authorities to ensure the speedy completion of the road to allow free flow of traffic. Confirming the accident, the Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Nurudeen Sabo, described the accident as tragic, saying the victims were taken to the Kubwa General Hospital. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/index.php/city-news/60942-4-traders-burnt-as-bus-catches-fire-at-kagini |

The Secretary, Media Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State and former Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of the state, Hon. Godstime Orlukwu has described as baseless, petty jealousy, fear, and vendetta, the statement issued by the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accusing former governor of the state, Rotimi Amaechi of corruption. Orlukwu maintained that Amaechi’s government if anything, could only be accused of carrying out too many projects in the state and not corruption. The former council boss disclosed this in a statement he issued in Abuja. “Amaechi was not given to luxurious life and corruption unlike the other governors of Rivers State. A man who still lives in his father’s house after serving as speaker for eight years and as governor for another eight years deserves commendation not abuse. “Amaechi can only be the best companion Buhari needs now as he instills a new culture of zero -tolerance for corruption in our polity. “On the sale of government assets, it is instructive to note that privatisation is a policy of government, which even the government of President Goodluck Jonathan implemented vigorously by selling most federal power assets. “Chief Nyesom Wike was a minister then. Why then is it wrong here in Rivers State? Moreso when due process was followed and the proceeds lawfully and transparently included in the budget. “I have said it time and time again that Amaechi is incorruptible. We have seen former governors of our state who live in embarrassing wealth today, Amaechi is not that type. “I would also advise the PDP government in the state to urgently address the resurgence of heaps of garbage in Port Harcourt, escalating criminality and lawlessness in the state rather than dissipate energy on who shakes hands with former governor Amaechi in America.” He added that blackmail may have worked during Jonathan’s administration, but certainly will not work in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. He stressed that Rivers State deserves a better deal. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/amaechi-not-corrupt-as-alleged-by-rivers-pdp-says-orlukwu/215480/
