Politics / Why Are You So Proud When You Don't Know Tomorrow by Double8: 9:13pm On Mar 22, 2019
WHO KNOWS TOMORROW??
In 1985, Dasuki arrested Buhari.
In 2016, Buhari arrested Dasuki.
In 1995, Al Mustapha arrested Obasanjo on the order of General Abacha.
In 1999, Obasanjo arrested Al Mustapha and he was jailed for 8 years.
In 2010, Prof Osinbajo was answerable to Gov Fashola as one of his commissioner.
In 2017, Fashola became answerable to Acting President Osibanjo as one of his minister.
Life is like a COIN thrown up in the air. You can't really predict which side will turn up.
NO ONE STAYS ON TOP FOREVER. IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME AND SEASON.
That person you despised, ridiculed, treated like shit and act like GOD over today, may have control over your life, career or save your head tomorrow.
NO ONE KNOWS TOMORROW!
Treat everyone with respect and show some kindness because there will always be a tomorrow.
Be good to all!
A Boss today might become a Subordinate tomorrow because there's no permanent state in life.
ALWAYS USE YOUR POWERS AND POSITIONS CAUTIOUSLY AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL.
Always stand for what is right, fair and just.
Like Mugabe said: "...treat the towel with care because the same place you used in cleaning your bottom today might be the same place you will use in cleaning your face tomorrow."
REMEMBER THIS, NO ACT OF KINDNESS IS A WASTE! OUR PRIME PURPOSE IN LIFE IS TO HELP OTHERS AND IF YOU CAN NOT HELP THEM, AT LEAST DO NOT HURT THEM!
Who would have taught,Nokia 3310 would be a forgotten phone in the midst of Androids.
This old, dilapidated house with the Volkswagen car was once a beautiful sight to behold and the owner was treated with respect and honor.
Today, no one will be proud to be associated with that sight.
That's life for you.
No one knows tomorrow...

Peter obi:- Haven't you seen a situation where the referee will say this is penalty, but after going to the replay TV, he will realise that it is not a penalty?

[quote author=WORDWORLD post=74239956]

THAT IS THE PARADOX OF OUR TIME IN HISTORY. THE AGE OF CONSUMERISM, WHICH ALMOST EVERYTHING BECOMES OBSOLETE REALLY, REALLY FAST.

In your spare time ponder over every word below as you read carefully.

"The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but SHORTER TEMPERS; wider freeways, but NARROWER VIEWS POINTS. We spend more, but HAVE LESS; we buy more, but ENJOY LESS; We have bigger houses and SMALLER FAMILES; more conveniences, but LESS TIME. We have more degrees but *LESS SENSE (I just hope some how our senselessness will ponder over this, it continues) more knowledge, but LESS JUDGEMENT; more experts, yet more PROBLEMS; more medicine, but LESS WELLNESS.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up to late, get up too tired, READ TOO LITTLE, watch TV too much, and PRAY TOO SELDOM. We have multiplied our possessions, but REDUCED OUR VALUES. We talk too much, love too seldom, and HATE TOO OFTEN. We've learned how to make a living, but NOT A LIFE. We've added years to life NOT LIFE TO YEARS. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but HAVE TROUBLE CROSSING THE STREET TO MEET A NEW NEIGHBOUR. We conquered outer space but NOT INNER SPACE (this I find most important, our innerself is the ONLY BATTLE FIELD and not the avoidable wars, killing one another, conquering of our inner self to incline towards GOOD eschewing EVIL it continues)
We've done larger things, but NOT BETTER THINGS. We've cleaned up the air, but POLLUTED THE SOUL. We've conquered atom but NOT OUR PREJUDICE. We write more, BUT LEARN LESS. We plan more but ACCOMPLISH LESS. We've learned to rush, but not TO WAIT. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but WE COMMUNICATE LESS AND LESS.

These are the times of fast foods and SLOW DIGESTION; Big men and SMALL CHARACTER; step profit and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but MORE DIVORCE;

Fancier houses but BROKEN HOMES. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, THROW AWAY MORALITY, ONE NIGHT STANDS, OVERWEIGHT BODIES, AND PILLS THAT DO EVERYTHING FROM CHEER, TO QUIET, TO KILL. fancier houses but broken homes.

It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and NOTHING IN THE STOCKROOM. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time you can choose either to share this insight, or to just delete.

Remember spending some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember to say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow and leave your side.
Remember to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and IT DOESN'T COST A CENT.

Remember to say "I LOVE YOU" to your partner and your loved ones, but MOST OF ALL MEAN IT.

A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt WHEN IT COMES FROM DEEP INSIDE OF YOU. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
GIVE TIME TO LOVE,GIVE TIME TO SPEAK AND GIVE TIME TO SHARE THE PRECIOUS THOUGHTS IN YOUR MIND."

**This was originally written by Dr. Bob
Morehead, but has been altered slightly
while bouncing around on the internet
since 1998**

[b]NOTE, THE ILLUSTRATION BELOW IS ONLY A PERSPECTIVE WHICH DOES NOT REFLECT AN HOLISTIC VIEW.

This is the kind of stuff I like reading.

As the festive season approaches.

Just imagine what a mother is doing to this poor child in the name of beauty.

This kind of wickedness should be thoroughly condemned.

Hope the mod move this to front page to shame any woman who does this to her child and the father that allows it.

The only thing I like about this man is that you can criticize him without fear of retribution unlike most African leaders.

Aside from that he was a lousy leader truth be told. I have always admired his good hearted nature but leadership was never his calling.

He had absolutely no control over his leutenans and tried to conceal his loud weakness with his cheerful countenance.

He had his chance to rescue us from our misery but in my own opinion he blew it.

Copied

THE PRIDE OF BLACK RACE
In Ojukwu's first post war speech in February 1994 at the Lagos Law school
He said the following :
'' The war has come and gone but we remember with pride and hope, the three heady years of freedom.
These were the three years when we had the opportunity to demonstrate what Nigeria would have been even before 1970.
In the three years of war, necessity gave birth to invention. During those three years, we built bombs, we built rockets, we designed and built our own delivery system. We guided our rockets, we guided them far and guided them accurately.
For three years, blockaded without the hope of imports, we maintained engines, machines and technical equipments. The state extracted and refined petrol with our own indigenous technology called the ' The Biafran pot '.
Individuals refined petrol in their backyards gardens.
We built and maintained airports and air strips. We maintained them under heavy bombardment. We spoke to the world through a telecommunication system engineered by local ingenuity. The world heard us and spoke back at us.
We built armoured tanks and cars. We modified aircraft from trainers to fighters, from passenger aircraft to bombers. In three years of freedom, we became the most civilized, the most technologically advanced black people on earth''
Now u wonder why I am deeply passionate about biafra, the answer lies in the above speech.
Biafra was able to achieve much in war time under the strictest condition what Nigeria has not been able to achieve in its long years of peace.
To show their deep hatred for Biafrans, out of jealousy they destroyed all the feats achieved by Biafrans. The Biafran research documents were burnt, what a waste of ingenuity.
Nigeria all along has what it needed to compete with the world but fear and jealousy blinded them and a people's ingenuity has been left to waste while the whole populace wallow in ignorance.
----Prince Victor Lawrence Ojukwu

It's time to stop losing money, join my team on whatsapp and start betting the smart way.

My strategy is to roll over my stakes on very low odds and in just a few hours my money is doubled.

It's easy and safe.

Only dreamers hope to hit 10m with a 200 naira stake. You think the bookmakers are dumb?

If you are a big staker then join my group let's do business. Drop your phone number and I'll add you up.
