the economic power u mentioned is as a result of big American, Asian and European companies that relocated to china to take advantage of cheap labour and low taxes. If these parent countries reduce their taxes and increase other incentives, these big companies will relocate to their parent countries. Without these companies, china won't be an economic colossus it is now.

At least you understood and acknowledged they gave the world a Greek gift. Now that was one of the reasons it is insinuated in many angles that China just fought and won WW3 without firing a shot. Most of those companies especially the tech guys, rushed to sell off there shares when the prices were crashing during this covid-19 outbreak and yes most were bought off by China. It remains to see how the whole world will react after this pandemic (Japan has already given package to some of its companies to start relocating manufacturing from China back to Japan) cos if they don't unite and fight off China, forget it those guys are on their way to police everybody

It actually the raw truth bro. He was working for WAV and they were doing a tug operation for CNL when the waters got so rough and their tug capsized and sank. I watched the dishonourable minister on channels TV last night and i never felt so ashamed and angry at being a Nigerian than last night. The most painful part was when this man said that the company that imported the chinese medical team has an isolating facility for them and as such, are the ones handling their isolation and that NCDC visited the isolation center before they came and that they are monitoring the company. Like does these guys have to bend down and lick anybody's arse to demonstrate servitude or what? But u were quick to hole up the flight crew that flew these guys in, in your own isolation center but allowed the guys they brought in to go isolate in a place provided for them by the so called company. Note: the massive oil price drop don't have anything to do with Coronavirus. It's interplay with Russia trying to kill off American Oil shale producers since they don't want to ball with OPEC and are the major benefactors of the high oil price.

On Russia not agreeing to additional production cuts due to coronavirus, Saudi Arabia(including UAE) is ramping up production and selling at a lower price from May...which sent oil production(forcast now might drop to $10 dollars per barrel) less profitable than selling Eva water.

In conclusion, Nigeria remains on hot pan since oil price will still be low after Coronavirus pandemic. Except there is a diplomatic or political intervention to Cub excess production. Many oil economy dependent countries will remain in recession after Coronavirus pandemic except oil price rises.

This will be my very first comment here and just to correct this misconception. Corona virus is the sole reason why the world's economy is in nosedive right now. China is the world's largest energy consumer and when the corona virus came(which incidentally began with them) their economy slowed down with lots of firms shutting down because of quarantine. This brought about a reduced demand for energy/crude oil. Now steps in OPEC, which by virtue of their existence as a cartel and their informal agreement with Russia, toggles production volume in relation to energy demand in order to maintain high crude price. But at this point, Russia refused to play with OPEC in reducing production output in order to maintain high prices hence the reason why the prices are dropping drastically. Saudi Arabia being who they are and having one of the lowest production costs per barrel in the world, are ready to keep flooding the market and crashing the prices further until they bring Russia to their knees and they come back to the table to agree(knowing fully well that Russia is also facing USA's economic sanctions already and may not be able to hold on for too long). However, with China claiming no new cases of Covid-19, firms previously shut down will commence operations, demand will gradually start building back up and as soon as other countries get out of the Corona induced lockdown, prices will eventually build back up as global demand will increase again.

The story is twisted by the person who posted on facebook. I have come across a video of this man earlier from someone who knows him and was soliciting for help for the man. If you’ve been involved in elections you should know there’s something called an incidence form. If elections were disrupted in these units, there would have been an incidence form to prove this.

Based on the norm, the next day, INEC would have conducted fresh elections in these units like it was done in Osun and Rivers States, but No, INEC in its wisdom went ahead to collate and announce a winner without results from 388 Units, which is about 12% of the entire state, and without any justification? INEC should be held responsible for everything wrong in IMO!

Most of you commenting here have no first hand knowledge of elections in Nigeria, all I see is ignorance displayed in full confidence.

I like the fact that you admitted that the solution from beginning ought to have being a rerun. So why then didnt the supreme court order for a rerun in those areas instead of admitting and collating the figures thereby making total number of votes in an election higher than the total number of accredited voters?

How does signature of party agents make the process credible? In this country where party agents and adhoc staff are ferried from polling unit to a politician's house, paid and made to sign off on electoral materials after they have written the results that suits them? Not saying that is what played out here, but for inec to cancel the results and refuse to admit them as theirs means that they couldn't even believe their own lies. What this is taking us back to is the era where materials are hijacked from polling units, results are written in the convenience of their enclaves and somehow the sheets will resurface at the collating center and if INEC says no we cnt afford to accept and collate these results you head to the supreme courts that have set this precedence and they will help you add the figures.
