But abroad? Oga abeg no de there. U get 2k no de, rent na monthly, no careless gum body, because your family no de there. No work, no money or food. You live illegal, no work for u- no free movement for u. You keep watching over your back all the time trying to evade arrest. But for how long??

I saw alot abroad and I concluded nothing ever will make me overstay my welcome. Na u go suffer, because beautiful streetz, houses, 24/7 light no go put food for your table. Hunger go design u, cold go finish u. U go sleep outside when your money finish. Na there police go come carry u. Or you think they don't know the illegal ones?

They chose not to bother; but once the government starts overhauling . Na then u go know say dem de see you, and know where u de sleep. And the next na to see yourself inside Van straight to prison or deportation house.

All in all, plan well and make sure you don't get into crime anywhere you find yourself.

1: Covid Vaccination: I had my first shot of J&J on the 15th of July and i was told i can only take the booster shot by 15th of september (2months apart) Is that gonna be problem at the Point of Entry?

2: How much do i have to have in Dollar as per my BTA when leaving Nigeria?

I'm sorry you didn't know about the vaccine being mandatory but you won't be allowed into the US without your proof of FULL vaccination 2 WEEKS PRIOR.

Please don't forget your vaccination card with the QR code and ensure you check that your details are correctly inputted.

My date of birth was wrong however you can correct your data yourself by scanning the QR code on your vaccination card.

The bolded is partially true. But do take note there are some exceptions to this rule especially for Non B1/B2 visa holders from countries with limited COVID-19 vaccine availability (of which Nigeria is among).

Please go and get the vaccine immediately ESPECIALLY because you need a minimum of 4 weeks interval between the 1st and 2nd dose. YOU WON'T GET INTO THE US WITHOUT IT.

I also didn't want to get the vaccine but had to. And even the 2nd dose has to be taken a minimum of 2 weeks before you board.

I hope the vaccine doesn't affect your school resumption.

Your I-20 is an absolute must, you are not getting in without it. I would also take along any admission letters you received from the school.
