It still baffles me that those of sound mind will recommend the adoption of a ''legal system'', established in some faraway land by some idealistic slave owners, in the 21st century. Honestly, a lobotomy is essential. |
I would nominally be delighted with all these arrests but for the fact it is so obvious that all these developments are as a result of IBB's machinations. Someone should do us a favour and bomb his Minna redoubt. Its a shame he prefers little boys rather than Indian prostitutes like his mate Abacha. |
If this is in any way true, it is more evidence that a vendetta is being waged against the principal actors in Obj's regime. The probes were nothing more than a witch hunt and these arrests amount to seeking vengeance. Did I hear someone say IBB. . . .? |
Hannibal:I never rated your analysis anyway. . . . ![]() Hutton is quality. . , . .for the Scottish Premiership Woodgate. . . . . .his best days are long gone. ain't been thesame since Leeds. Bale. . . . . . . . . , he is not going to be used in defence anyway ![]() Lets not even start with the central midfield- - - - - I mean, Jenas and Huddlestone. . . Are you freaking kidding me. |
I am not going to fall for all this Tottenham buying They had no problem going forward last season. The big problems were in the defensive half of the field. Tottenham fans should be worried their best defender, Ledley King is likely to be crocked for most of the season. E jus dey buy attackers all over the place. |
Hannibal:Yep. . . .he has been learning alrite. . . . From Othmar Hitzfeld ![]() |
see goalllllllllllll Ol boy. . . .arsenal dey play abeg |
Hannibal:has he now. . . .but the Gunners have previous I remember at the said Reebok, where they came from two goals down with ten men. . . Surely Hannibal, you do remember too ![]() |
Yar'adua is basically pandering his constituency. . . . . The sands and shrubs of the Sahel in Northern Nigeria. |
Hannibal:I am telling you. , .these players and the chances they do not take. That miss reminds me of Tevez's chance at the Reebok last season. He managed to miss an open goal. . .no one was in front of him ![]() |

hehehehe. . . . I will bet Nani is sold off in a few seasons to either Benfica, Lisbon or Porto Unlike Ronaldo who was always an athlete, turning a game on its head on his debut against Bolton or breaking Cashley's ankles. . . One could see the enormous upside with Ronaldo With Nani. . . .I don't know the skills you have seen o, . . . . .His compilation videos on Youtube are boring. . . . . . . .mostly long range shots. Anyways. . . .keep being optimistic. |
Quite an opening ceremony. . . . I wonder if the lighting of the torch is berra than the Archer's stunt in 1992 |
Actually I think Rosicky is a better player than Nani. For one he is a lot smarter with the ball. Nani makes a lot of poor decisions Nani is no great athlete either like I first thought. . . . .he has put on some meat, but he will not outrun too many. And that is the difference with Ronaldo, who is a freak athlete. So don't come with Nani is ahead of Ronaldo in his progression cycle. |
Its been sunny on the South Coast the past week. . . . many of our fans will storm London in a sea of blue the next few days. No pressure on us at all. . , . , 99% of Britain expect us to lose. But like I said, we beat them at OT once, ain't nothing to stop us from beating them at Wembley. |
heheheheehe. . . . I am so confident we will whoop this Red Eshu people Bloody Rooney isn't playing. . . , . , And United is not half the team with Rooney out. Anyway I will not talk too much. . . . . . . I will gloat after the match and we shall see whether Punyball go still get mouth. |

You gunners should hold on tight. . . . . It will probably get slightly worse before it gets better. Once the financial malarkey is sorted out and Wenger can access the coffers, the only way would be up. Anyway. . . .Enjoy the Trophyless Season ![]() |
Mehn. . .the contrast is clear oo. . . .I remember Atlanta wey Naija shake. The atmosphere seems quite tepid as far as this team's concerned. |
Lala. . .that piking no dey grow at all? How u dey sef? |
One of the enduring memories of many African childhoods I am sure, are those folktales, you know those of the crafty tortoise, the speedy hare or the proud peacock. I had the benefit of having been involved in one, although of a tragic sort. I fear you might find mine mundane compared with those exotic childhood fables, but it is mine and dear to me and hopefully you will find it entertaining. Chickens are the principal actors in this tale, and no surprise, cause many familiies, urban or otherwise often rear poultry for various reasons. We had a full sized shed in those days. A modest effort for not even part time farmers. I guess it was just to keep my housewife mum busy, and she had a good go at it. She sold some, but we ate most. It was always going to be a stretch trying to manage a poultry business with five budding males to feed including Dad. But prior to their consumption the chickens had us entertained. Feeding them in the mornings, they would clamber all over each other to get to the meal, a poultry stampede if you like. I think we humans can learn a lot from chickens when it comes to stampedes. We never lost one single chicken to these mornig rituals, shocking when you consider the tragic tales from India during their religious festivals. The chickens had to be separated of course, there being different types and all. You had the layers, the broilers and ‘the agric’ etc. The last was a name pecuiliar to we Nigerians I reckon, you know we Nigerians are very good at that, giving nicknames and all. Funny thing was agric in urban Yoruba parlance also was used to describe someone with soft bones, a weakling. A chap with no cahoonies. I would know cause my Grandma used to call me that. The old woman loved me to bits but she could tease like they was no tomorrow. Oh well, I never minded the ‘agric’ moniker cause our shed was ruled by one of the ‘agric’ group. We named him King Kong, a big bustling bull of a chicken he was. His black spotted coat glistened in the sun I swear, and his crow rang loudest in the morning. His harem was the largest and none of the other male chickens dared to disturb his partners, and when any did, they paid for it. I remember once while playing in the backyard, one of the pretenders to the ‘King of the Shed’ throne was having a go at climbing a member of King Kong’s harem. She gave a good fight she did, but she was no match for the Hot bastard. King Kong was somewhere else at the time, so the usurper was trying to have his cake and eat and more besides. The female gave a loud cry she did, and what do you know, there was the impressive sight of King Kong, all chicken sinews taut, aerodynamic wings, he glided across the ground, a . I can remember watching with music playing in my head. You know that Chariots of Fire theme, ta ta na na ta ta na na na, it was the perfect backdrop to the scene. The cowardly chicken didn’t even put up a fight. It simply skittered away, a stark contrast to King Kong’s entree. . . . . . |
precisely. . . . . . I find it difficult to believe Obj would have himself delved in such matters. Sort of like holding Bush responsible for Abu Gharib. I suggest they should be looking for the Brigadier or Major General under whose command these soldiers went amok. |
but that's a bit disingenuous isn't it. Squarely focusing on Obj surely takes away attention from the actual perpetrators |
Can someone tell me why it is generally believed Obj ordered the wiping out of the village. Where is the evidence? |
So when are they going to start demoting the Babangidas' of this world. ![]() |
tpia:Jeez. . . .U sure say u get any radical bone for your body at all ![]() |
Forget the Oloshi jo. . . . He is looking for a way to have his cake and eat it. |
ibkaye:exactly. , . the fashion sense would best be suited to Uranus ![]() |
