I have this feeling that Fashola could be put up as the presidential or deputy presidential aspirant in the next election under new merger party, APC.

The visit by these elders is strategic.

Yes, Soludo you did the right thing by joining APGA. You are our next governor.
We the people of Anambra should all work together for the success of Soludo. The Elites and Intellectuals should enlighten those in the villages and the traders about soludo.

The Igbos should ensure he wins and not sell their votes to any money bags.

The future and development of the eastern region is more important than bag of rice the money bags will present to you.

PoliticsRe: Airforce Invents Bomb Detecting Robot To Fight Boko Haram by dozymars(m): 12:51pm On Jul 23, 2013
karl max: Experts in bomb detonation would soon not need to get closer to such dangerous objects to neutralise them as the Nigerian Airforce has invented a robot to undertake such task from a far distance.

Commandant of the Nigerian Airforce Institute of Technology (NAFIT), Kaduna, John Oshoniyi on Monday said the institute had developed a bomb detective robot capable of detecting bombs from afar, and an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for
At a news conference in preparation for the 42nd graduation ceremony of the institute, the commandant said the bomb detonating robot, would assist the security agencies to check the series of bombings by terrorist groups.

The Boko Haram terrorists group has been unleashing waves of violence attacks in the northern part of Nigeria since 2009, and bombs have become its favourite lethal weapon.

On 14 February 2012, a policeman, Sunday Badang, was killed while attempting to detonate a bomb wrapped inside a bag with bare hands along Ungwar Seriki area of Kaduna metropolis.

As a result of that unfortunate incident, NAFIT went into research that led to the invention of this unmanned robot.

Displaying the robot before newsmen, Mr Oshoniyi said the equipment would be presented to the public as soon as it is ready, adding that the UAV, the first in Africa, was a product of the transformation agenda of the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration in attaining higher pedestal in military aviation and defence related technology.

Do you really know what INVENTION means? How can you invent what already exist.
Bomb detectors have long existed in so many other countries so please rephrase the topic as "NIGERIA IMPORTS BOMB DETECTORS"

where are the fabricated parts manufactured?
Where are the microchips manufactured?
where are the cameras manufactured?
where are the sensors manufactured?
Even tires are not manufactured in Nigeria.

So how come its invented in Nigeria? Please don't misinform the public.
PoliticsRe: Senator Ahmed Yerima Replies His Critics by dozymars(m): 9:10pm On Jul 20, 2013
Even the Devil will give u reasons why u should worship him.
So yerima dont come up with such nonsense and senseless reasons to justify your devilish act.
A girl should be matured enough to know who she wants to get married to.
why should you force her to marry someone when she is not even concious of herself and the world she lives in.

Work towards the improvement of the economy of the nation and there will be less immorality in the society.

How many females in your constituency have you sponsored to acquire life skills and hand skills to help improve their lives.

So this how majority of our northern leaders think, no wonder Nigeria is in this state.
PoliticsRe: Senators Who Voted To Legalise Underage Marriage. by dozymars(m): 10:00pm On Jul 19, 2013
What these northern leaders fail to realise is that any law in the name of religion that they allow affects them, their children and the people of the north.

They allowed almanjeri -these has caused mass illiteracy, violence, poverty in the northern .
They allowed boko haram to reign- we all know what the result is and what it has led to.
And now, the marriage to underage girls. This will only back fire on them.
The people of the north need to call their leaders to order other wise they will experience the negative effect in the northern society.
The problem of the north is not religion interpretation
The problem is the leaders, the northern leaders.
I'm 31 And Nobody Is Asking My Hand In Marriage

Good day nairaland. I'm 31 years old female, single and unmarried. I want to get married by the end of this year by Gods grace. All the men that approach me either are unsettled yet or one problem or the other. At first I wasn't desperate, but I don't know what im doing wrong. I have a good job and travel to the UK often but still haven't met any man that's prepared for marriage. When I go out to have fun, my siblings start complaining that im attending parties and staying out late too much. Is it in our parlour a man will marry me? I'm trying to enjoy life by looking on to the bright side but still feel empty inside of me. What else can I do to get married at least by the end of the year? Any others I my shoes can input as well.
You are looking for Mr right in the wrong places. Most Men go after decent ladies and not club girls or party freaking girls.
The men you meet at these clubs are only interested in rocking you while they look out for decent ladies that do not stay out late like you do.
Having a good job or travelling to the UK as you boosted does not guarantee Mr right, you will only invite gold diggers.

My advice is that you pray about it, stay humble, be patient then Mr Right will come.
Christianity EtcRe: Will Lagos Ever Have A Christian Governor? by dozymars(m): 9:51pm On May 12, 2013
I will vote for the commissioner only if he can attends to this road at Ago Place way, Okota in the shortest possible time.

This portion of road along Ago Palace way, okota is the direct responsibility of the commissioner of works and infrastructure of Lagos state and it needs urgent attention.

The people here are suffering, businesses have closed because of this road.

The flood here never dries, its been like this for some year now.

No drainage, vehicles breakdown regularly, workers, school buses and school children suffer on this route.

You need to fix this road as the commissioner of works before the responsibility of the whole Lagos state is handed to

you.

Back in February, you posted the same fake trash. This was even about Ladipo market, but you still managed to smuggle in your fake pictures about the same road...

Your pictures doesn't reflect the current reality regarding that road, that road is under construction and a major chunk of it is done and functioning detailed with eye witness pictures and assessment..
Stop your false propaganda, go to Ago palace way, okota and see for yourself.
Go and see the stagnant flooded road, no drainage.
Its current the worst road in lagos as write this, 10th may 2013.

the flood is span over 500meters. I can send a current picture if u need one or go and see it yourself.

This road located at Ago palace way,Okota Isolo Lagos is worse than what it looks on these pictures.

SO many business have closed shops due to its neglect by the government.

SO Shameful to have such road in the so called Mega city, So called 'Eko Oni baje.

The flood here don't dry as there is no existing drainage.

Ago palace way host one of the largest number of Small and medium scale businesses that generate tax to the Government.

60 percent of the JEEPs/SUVs owners in Lagos reside in this area because of this road.

Its been like this for Over 2 years now.

There is need for urgent attention.

gogetter09: my brother go and get a XANTREX INVERTER; its better and its american product. but its quite expensive but its better than all these indians inverter e.g sukam, mopower, luminious and the rest. its what i use, and install for banks for their atm and power backups
Yes Xantrex Inverter is good quite alright. But the problem is that it is relatively expensive and they have no service center in Nigeria. So, if you have a problem with it then you have to export it back to America.

The issue here is that he always collect a huge sum of cash from me(to solve family problem, settle issues, etc) all in the name of borrowing but will never pay back angry.

I never ask him, but expected he will pay as promised. Recently he said I should borrow him 20,000 that he must surely pay back once he recieved his salary. I refused, but later after he lamented I did borrowed him. When it was month end I ask him , he said first week, when it was first week I asked again!
he was shouting and telling me that since i have accepted his proposal that we are one and that i am suppose to take kia of him and his family to buy the familys mind so as they loved me.
I quietly left him and went to my place after 3 days he called that i should make sure i come to the house, I went reaching he said he missed me after he might have finished eating the food i prepared with his eyes gaze on my face (he wanted to make luv) to sex, which i refused.

Just this week, he called me and was lamenting that he need 30,000 to settle and important issue, which he is not ready to share with me, his telling me he will tell me after he might have settled it.

I told him I don't have any money with me not to talk of borrowing .
He said I should borrow from my friends, that he doesnt want to know how i get the money, his concerned is to solve the problem at hand.

Corruption is on the increase with little or no effort to curb it.
The missing 2.1 billion naira at the mint company.
The faruok saga
The sweeping of the Nuhu ribadu's NNPC probe reports under the carpet.
Increase in oil bunkering
Efcc have very inactive
ICPC also very inactive
The court granting the accused a bail of N750, 000 after misappropriation of 23 billion naira pension fund.
Governors buying private jets
Subsidy scam .
The presidential pardon of corrupt officials.

Our leaders are aware of the fact that majority of Nigerians are so forgetful so they take advantage of this .

If Ladipo can be shut down due to its filthiness then this road should be shutdown for repairs.
