Rossike, yes the railway project is in progress but the proposed 10 lanes along this way that started along side the railway project have been abandoned for months now. Pls let's know when the road construction will commence.

Gabbysky: Don't worry Bro, Fash is on it. Very soon you'll cry no more. Now that's a PROMISE!
Gabbysky, I am not sure fash is on it. Currently the badagry road project have been abandoned, I think it's only the railway project that is on going but slow.

To the best of my knowledge the proposed 10 lanes along the same badagry express all the way from iganmu bridge to the seme border have been abandoned for many months now except for the railway lane that is ongoing.

If Mr fash doesn't finish it in his tenure then I wonder what will become of that road. Presently the road is worse than its former state before commencement of the project.
PoliticsRe: Major Projects Under Construction In Nigeria (pics) by dozymars(m): 10:51pm On Jan 04, 2013
Good work by the poster, nice to know something is happening afterall. But I want to use this opportunity to draw the attention of the government to the road that leads to our neighbouring country, Benin republic. This is the badagry express road which is in a very bad state. It's shameful to see smaller countries having good roads between their borders while ours is in a very very bad state.

The road between Benin republic and the next border to Togo is excellent, the road between Togo border and Ghana is also in a very good state. When you get into Nigeria after its border you will feel nothing but shame for the so called big brother of Africa.

Please they should do something about this.

Christianity EtcRe: Pst. Chris Ojigbani: Courtship Before Marriage Is A Waste Of Time by dozymars(m): 4:33pm On Oct 15, 2012
Dozymars,u said we should not follow any man made theory. Now tell us,where in the 'Godly theory'we were instructed or admonished to court like u just quoted?
Can u sight any example of courtship in the bible ? Courtship is what is man made and not the other way round.
Now this is just one poit from Ojigbani:
Ask for God's direction.If HE direct's you,you don't need to court.
Okay Mr M.K.O I think you need to know what courtship is. from the dictionary Courtship is traditionally the wooing of a female by a male, includes activities such as dating (dinner and a movie, a picnic, or general "hanging out"wink, along with other forms of activity, such as meeting online (also known as virtual dating), chatting on-line, sending text messages or picture messages, conversing over the phone, writing each other letters, and sending each other flowers, songs, and gifts. Courting usually involves getting to know the family (especially the parents) of the one you are courting. Most of the time courting will be done somewhere public, to lower the chances of anything going on between the couple. Some couples who court do not even kiss until marriage.

In my opinion courtship is like friendship, a committed friendship to a particular person. So is there anything wrong with friendship? NO.
Except you think courtship is all about having sex before marriage, then you are wrong.
Courtship is an english word for such frienship, you get to meet the family or parents of both families during this time.
So will you marry a girl without meeting her family?

You are right. this is marketing strategy, Is USP(Unique selling point). You ned to be controversial to attract members. Especially Gullible ones.
Absolutely the God's way of doing things. Courtship whether 2days or two yrs isn't biblical and not for Christians. This subject should only be for believers and those who want to learn !Courtship is DEVILISH !
So you intend to see a woman u like today and marry her tomorrow. you can aswell stand on the street of lagos and pick her.

Its not enough for your physical eyes to desire a woman and want her, you also need your heart and spirit to accept her as the right person for you and this will take some time.
Pls if u are a christian, study ur bible very well . Isaac never courted rebekah at all !
How do u know they didnt court? were the days of meeting eachother before marriage stated?

Moreover Isaac servant prayed that God should show him Isaac's wife in a peculiar way by showing him the signs when he went in search for Isaac's wife.

Isaac is a covenant child so there can be no mistakes even if he doesnt court. The Marriage is divine.
Christianity EtcRe: Pst. Chris Ojigbani: Courtship Before Marriage Is A Waste Of Time by dozymars(m): 3:58pm On Oct 15, 2012
Anybody can come up with any theory stating his own believes and surely surely he or she will have followers.
Please don't be deceived with man made theories that are false and unreal.
Courtship is a very important period before marriage, and should be done with the fear of God and prayers.
Even if the lady or the guy pretends to be good you can still know if you pay good attention to access him or her.
You also need to be truthful to yourself and not be carried away by the love u have for eachother, as u need to asked yourself if can live with the person for the rest of your life.
During courtship your heart will tell you if you are in the right relationship or not, then you will have the time to make your decisions and learn from the experiences.
You cannot meet someone and jump into marriage. you need courtship to understand him or her,the basic characters.

acidtalk: Whether Home or Abroad wherever you come across a Nigeria you might be skeptical of their origin (usually place of birth). But as soon as you hear a Nigerian who grew up and have a better part of their life spent in Nigeria, you can easily tell from their use of words and pronunciation.

Below are some of the words and pronunciations used by Nigerians both within Nigeria and outside.

* I want to Drop : this is when they are making their intention know they want to alight from a bus, taxi or car.

* Where's my change : this is to show they are waiting to collect their balance after a purchase.

* God dey : they are expressing their dissapointment in an event or feel cheating.

* E go better : When they believe there's hope in a current situation they are presently not happy about.

Others are :
* Jumpig of queues

* Speaking in loud voice

* Rushing to take a train, cab or bus and also in a hurry to alight
.
* Talking for hours and shouting while making use of a public phone boot.

* Talking so loud on the Hotel hallway.

* The highest spender in clubs, bars, malls and event centre.

* the man that keeps talking aloud inside the cinema.

More to come soon.
DO YOU KNOW THAT NIGERIANS ARE THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE ON EARTH, NIGERIANS ARE ALSO ONE OF THE MOST HOSPITABLE PEOPLE.
SO WHY DID'NT YOU MENTION THAT.
STOP DUELING ON THE NEGATIVE ASPECT. APPRECIATE YOUR PEOPLE AND BE A GOOD AMBASSADOR.

PoliticsRe: Okada-men From Niger Republic A Security Risk To Nigeria? by dozymars(m): 4:06pm On Jul 25, 2012
These Niger and Chad guys are everywhere. our government are so complacent about security matters.
There are so many of them in Okota, yaba, festac, Oyinbo and i think they pose a security risk to our nation Nigeria.
I was robbed sometime last year in my house at night by these Niger boys.

I tell you, these guys can be used by Islamic radicals to cause evil if they are not checked by our security agents. Take a look at what is happening in Mali, an Islamic radical group overthrew the government and are now causing mayhem all over.

These immigrants can be use by boko haram, the high influx of these guys is strategic.

Our security agents should be proactive at all time.

RomanceRe: When A Mother Decided To Find A Wife For Her Son. by dozymars(m): 5:13pm On Feb 08, 2012
Hello Everyone, I am a living experience to this matter. My mother insisted on getting a wife for me, though i was in a relationship but wasn't convinced it will lead to marriage. So i accepted my mum's moves and fortunately i loved the lady she got and now we are married with a child.

Few weeks after our marriage my parents always try to exert their control over my marriage, dictating to us on what should happen in the marriage which we tried resisting and this caused a lot of rift, hatred, bitterness and quarrel towards myself and my wife up till this moment of nearly 3yrs of marriage.

So my advice to the poster, you have to be very careful with this because it can bring division in the family which i am experiencing now. Talk to your mum and convince her that u can get a wife of your own but if by chance you get to love your mum's candidate then let your mum know she should take the blame for any eventual disagreement between you and the family that may arise during the marriage because your mum will try to exert her control especially if she resides in the same town with you.
