I have come to the realisation that Nigerians are fascinated by the Igbos, even Seun is cashing out in terms of traffic on Nairaland by posting Igbo related topics on and on all day long. Even me sef I can't lie, there's something unique about them we cant comprehend, most of the regular controversial monikers here derive their notoriety by commenting on Igbo and IPOB topics. The reason Igbo threads attract so much attention is because we have some of their members ready to intelligently argue with you on any platform about their aspirations even if you don't agree with their method. Meanwhile, as per Ikonso from my interactions today, it seems that Igbos are really proud of him, he is the true representation of the brave Biafran spirit, a guy who made the Army to jubilate after confirming the loss of 4 soldiers and 3 Police men confronting him, it means that his African bullet proof worked to some extent because he derived courage to engage and kill his adversaries before they finally got to him. Today, 2 soldiers and 4 Police men have been confirmed killed in Owerri-PHC road checkpoint in revenge and more could be taken out because of the mangrove forests terrain which provides cover where ambush can be effectively carried out by a well trained Guerilla armed group. Very soon they may decide to ground oil facilities in the South East which are mostly onshore and collaborate with Niger Delta militants to stall offshore production and the economic impact will hit everyone now that borrowing from China is getting harder 121 Likes 11 Shares |

Sadly, it's Southern officers and not Fulani officers that were killed by Ikonso during the ambush on his gang including Inspector Ramon Akintola deployed from Lagos to Imo to go and die. While Igbos and Yorubas abuse themselves here, it's still their people that are sent to either fight Boko Haram and get killed in the North East or sent to engage ESN in the South East and get killed. 6 Likes |

Please if you are Yoruba don't join them in celebrating the murder of these guys defending their land. Boko Haram is occupying the village of the new Police IGP in Geidam and sharing leaflets openly without confrontation. For now they have given a little breathing space to the South West to return later in full force, the focus now is on the deeply marginalised South East. This is a Fulani jihad from that minutes of JNI meeting chaired by Pantami at Bauchi Central Mosque in 2010, don't fall for their Taqqiya denial. They want to create crisis in the South East as IPOB goes on revenge, in the next few days security agents from the North will be redeployed out of the South East and Southern officers from the SW and Middle Belt will be sent there to replace them and be sacrificed, if you are a security agent reading this and you receive a new posting to the SE just be aware of what awaits you if you obey the order. They are going to repeat the same tactics used during the civil war where soldiers from the middle belt and SW were dying in the battle field only for the Fulani led by Murtala Mohammed which hitherto caged Gowon to consolidate their position and take power after the war, they preserved their own soldiers and officers including Buhari. Among the soldiers and IRS officers who died in this confrontation with ESN non of them is Fulani, Inspector Ramon Akintola is known in Lagos as an IRS personnel and he was just sent to Imo for this encounter and he was killed engaging Ikonso, why didn't they send a Policeman or Hisbah from Kano or Katsina? One last reality is that Ikonso death is going to inspire millions of Igbo youths, and the mere fact that he took down an Army Lieutenant and 4 soldiers and 3 IRS operatives and possibly other unconfirmed casualties before going down shows that he was a very brave and tough man and this is what the average Fulani dreads in the Igbos, Ikonso will become a folklore icon, believe you me 648 Likes 67 Shares |
