Politics / Re: Lurching From Fulanisation To Yorubanisation – Which Way Nigeria? by dquantum21: 7:37am On Jun 20, 2023
Na wa for you o. In all honesty, I think this President is fair enough
Nwaetche:
President Bola Tinubu has made more than 25 critical appointments since he took office with the key strategic ones allocated to Yorubas.

One question one should be asking is if this is the Nigeria of ZIk, Belewa, Awolowo, Gowon, Murtala, Babagida and Obasanjo? Where is the much touted Nigeria Unity if the sophisticated Yoruba race are comfortable having their kinsmen occupy all strategic Military, Political and economic positions.

Candidate Tinubu regales himself as being pan Nigeria, does he not trust other Nigerians enough like Buhari to have them appointed into this strategic positions too? Even during military rule, one can see clearly Nigeria never witnessed such nepotistic and lopsided appointments as we are seeing with the recent APC led governments.

Where are the Binis, Ijaw, Jukun, etc in this equation? I hope he retraces his steps as soon as possible otherwise his failure would be greater than Buhari failed regime.

Do you think that Tinubu is just fulfilling his promised of continuing where Buhari Stopped. Please check the lists below and see if we are not stumbling from Fulanisation policy to Yorubanisation?

Yoruba South West
Maj. Gen. T. A Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff
DIG Kayode Egbetokun, Acting Inspector-General of Police

It is long overdue.

Let me give you a story of one scary one that happened in a neighborhood market where I leave in Port Harcourt.

My wife went to buy stuff in that market on a particular day. At the fish stand, there were many intending buyers. All of a sudden, a man wearing an attire likened to the occult with paintings and cowries on his face touched a particular man in the crowd with a staff in his hand. The man that was touched collapsed immediately and started stretching on the ground.

At this moment, everyone in the vicinity took to their heels. Shop owners locked up. Everyone ran for safety. My wife ran to a shop that sells fabrics. The owner shut the door with some of his goods left outside. She told me there was quietness for few minutes as there was no movement. People only peeping through a little opening in their windows and from afar off wondering what the world has now turned to.

After few minutes, the dispersed crowd from the hideout saw the cameraman who had been recording the scene from afar rolled in his equipment.

At this point, the crowd got upset and started raining insult on them. I was told some said if this had happened in some part of SE without proper permission prior to the display, the skit makers would have been lynched. She said it was indeed a scary moment.

Education / Re: Mathematicians, Please Help Me With These Quadratic Equations by dquantum21: 1:42pm On Jan 21, 2023
I know the questions are no big deal but I decided to allow ChatGPT solve them. See the output below:

Quadratic Formula Solution

Solve Solve X^2 + 2X - 8 = 0
Using the quadratic formula

The quadratic formula for solving the equation ax^2 + bx + c = 0 is: x = (-b ± √(b^2 - 4ac)) / 2a

So in this case, we have:
x^2 + 2x - 8 = 0
x = (-2 ± √(2^2 - 4(1)(-cool)) / 2(1)
x = (-2 ± √(4 + 32)) / 2
x = (-2 ± √(36)) / 2
x = (-2 ± 6) / 2
x = (-2 + 6) / 2 or x = (-2 - 6) / 2
x = 2 or x = -4

Therefore, the solutions of the equation are x = 2 and x = -4

Solve X^2 - 3X - 18 = 0 using completing the Square

To solve x^2 - 3x - 18 = 0 using completing the square method, we can follow these steps:

Rewrite the equation in the form of x^2 - 3x = 18 by adding 18 to both sides.
Add (3/2)^2 to both sides of the equation to get a perfect square trinomial on one side of the equation: (x-3/2)^2 = (3/2)^2 + 18.
Take the square root of both sides of the equation: x-3/2 = ± √((3/2)^2 + 18)
Add 3/2 to both sides of the equation: x = 3/2 ± √((3/2)^2 + 18)
Solve for x by simplifying the square root: x = 3/2 ± √(9/4 + 18) = 3/2 ± √(81/4) = 3/2 ± 3/2 = 6 or x = -3
Therefore, the solutions of the equation are x = 6 and x = -3.

UNESCO in September announced that Nigeria now has about 20 million out-of-school children. It noted that there were 244 million children and youth between the ages of 6 and 18 who are out of school globally.

According to the statistics, India, Nigeria and Pakistan have the highest figures for out-of-school children globally. For Nigeria, this figure is a far-reaching increase from the 10.5 million recorded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in 2020.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Self-employed Vs Employee, Which Is Best? by dquantum21: 3:35pm On Sep 02, 2022
Self - employed is better than being an employee. Though you may struggle when starting your own business but with consistency and patience, you will have a smooth sail.

It is good to have your own business but your ultimate goal is not to remain there but move to the right side of Robert Kiyosaky's quadrant. This is the Big business owner and the Investor.

As an Investor, you do not have to expend so much knowledge and time to increase your income unlike a self-employed person who is almost awake 247 to ensure the business moves on.

I recommend you read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaky. There is also an audio version of the book.

Thank God for grace. In the time of Moses, A prophet whose prophesy do not come to pass has death hanging on his neck.

Deuteronomy 18:20: But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

Deuteronomy 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

Deuteronomy 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

NATO is North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. Not "North America Treaty Organisation"
jonandez:
If you put on your TV u would notice most of what is trending right now is the conflict of interest between Russia, Ukraine , United State and NATO.
Many people don't actually understand what is going on or why such conflict arised in the first place.
So if u want to learn a little history and facts ..then this thread is for you as I won't be using an big grammar to confuse the audience and would try to make it fun for easy understanding..

So it all started when Russia was part of the coalition called the Soviet Union..
The Soviet Union was a collection of countries in which Russia and Ukraine where part of.
The Soviet Union using the amount of country and army in their disposal where edging closer to convincing more nations (more like conquering) to be part of them.
But the USA was not having any of it.. they decided to step in before the USSR takes over the world ..and they in collaboration with other countries decided to form NATO(North American Treaty Organization) in other to oppose the vast army of the USSR.
As faith would have the USSR collapse in the cold war where The USSR disbanded leaving the countries seperated.. meaning Russia and Ukraine are now seperate countries..
Now that you are up to speed with the latest... Let's move to the modern day conflict..
Now NATO wants to add Ukraine as part of it's organization. Which Russia is not having.
To Russia the Americans are stylishly doing what the American accused the Soviet union of doing in the past..
Combining countries in other to have world domination..
It wouldn't really have bothered Russia but they would see it as an act of betrayal on the part of Ukraine as they are regarded as brother nations and them joining the west(NATO) sends the wrong signal.
Russia is prepared to go to wat unless the underlisted conditions are met by NATO.
1.)They should not add Ukraine to the list of NATO nations
2.) They should not add any of the ex Soviet Union country to the list of NATO nations.

Comment below wat u think.
