Ventilators are basically useless in treating Covid -19 patients.

Says who? Covid 19 is a respiratory disease. If it catches you, plus all the other symptoms, the mother of it all is that it seizes your breaths making your gasping for breath. That is where ventilator comes him to help pump your long with air so you don’t give up immediate even before treatment comes.

Sorry I mean last month was the beginning of the pandemic. But the first confirmed case was in February in California. I don’t know anything about what you are asking. You know what? About when Europe call Trump. I’m only telling you stuff based on Trump words in his daily Coronavirus update address. I watch it everyday or listen to it live on radio. Since about three weeks ago, Trump has said has been saying that he is receiving calls from countries around the world, Europe included to help with ventilator. He promised on live tv that he would be ready to help other countries with ventilator since they are beginning to have more than enough for stockpile for any future outbreak.

Last month was the start of the outbreak. But not the start of the first confirmed cases. The first case was discovered in February in California. It was never a big deal then . That was when Trump was playing it down.

Everything I have been talking about are news from two weeks ago till date. So that your news link is outdated. I listened to daily New York governor corona virus update in his state. He used to cry for ventilator but not anymore. Trump has called him out on national tv claiming that he has solved the New York governor ventilator problem and every other governor as at two weeks ago. No governor is crying for ventilator anymore

While the issue of ventilator is over. What the US is facing now is testing kits supply to test as many people as possible. That’s the only issue they are facing as at today. Not ventilators

Again, that News article was three weeks ago. It does not reflect the reality on ground since two weeks ago. Since two weeks ago, Trump has been bragging on tv and not on tweet about solving ventilator problems and every governor involved has acknowledged that there has been not scarcity of ventilator.

Remember the ventilators are needed as a matter of urgency.

Are you in the US? I guess you are not. When the outbreak just started, the major concern was about availability of ventilator. All the US governors affected were shouting at the federal government for ventilator especially the governor of New York. Trump use his executive order to order US car manufacturers and Boeing plane manufacturer to start producing ventilator. Now, no governor is crying for ventilator anymore because they now have more than enough and Trump has order stockpile of ventilators for future emergency. He is saying it on national tv every time that he is receiving calls from Italy, Spain and other countries to help them with ventilator. He has promised to ship ventilators to those countries.

Understand that, not everyone with corona virus needs a ventilator. Not all the confirmed cases are in the hospital. Most of them are self quarantined at home. Only critical cases are hospitalized

$30 million? Just $30 million. Is that the best China can do? The US annual grant to WHO was between $400 to $500 million before Trump announced to cut back. While China’s annual contribution was between $30 to $50 million.

McDonald’s said the store was quickly shuttered when the company became aware of the disturbing notice and that the restaurant’s apparent ban on black people was “not representative” of the company’s “inclusive values.”


“Immediately upon learning of an unauthorized communication to our guests at a restaurant in Guangzhou, we immediately removed the communication and temporarily closed the restaurant,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said in a statement to the BBC.

In addition, the company said it is administering “diversity and inclusion” training at the store.
