Hello Guys Pegzzyg drcynthia flyboi1

How can someone increase his/her points without having someone in Canada. I have no Relatives in Canada that I communicate with which can nominate me.

Getting the required points now sees like an impossible task as even if I score 9999 in IELTS, I still need a relative for nomination
Is there any other secret ways I can improve my points that I don't know about yet?

I'm about to lose hope in this thing. cry cry cry
.....hi hi...I am not sure o, I am a JJC for this waka....I think additional options are Provincial nomination, valid Job offer from Canada also I don't know your marital status...because spouse education and ECA adds about 18-20 points.
Also I don't know Ur degree...if it's Bsc or MSc or HND or two degrees.... whichever way....don't lose hope..I hope this helps...over to my elders. .. ...

IT'S PPR Guys.

Below is our timeline.

Family of 5
CSR - 456
ITA - June 25
AOR - Sept 12
MEP/BIL - Oct 9
Biometrics Done - Oct 16
PPR - Nove 9

I don't know where to start but I will thank God first for today. All praise belong to him.
I will thank all the guys here especially those who make out time to share information on the platform. I learnt a lot here. I was encouraged by other people's struggles and stories. I also got the link that helped with our major breakthrough in the journey here. I will not say am a silent reader but when I applied to be an elder Newmum0615, Macstan, Tojued and co did not consider me. How can Newmum0615 who is my junior in Engineering faculty in UNIZIK be an elder and I will not be an elder....lol. Thanks a lot guys. The company I enjoyed here throughout the journey has been superb.

Around April last year when we thought of this journey, I was not sure we will get enough points to get ITA so we wanted to go through the study route. It was at that point that I joined Nairaland study group. I convinced my wife to take IELTS which she did and did well and we applied to a school in Nova Scotia and got admission but later my brother who lives in Canada got his PR and the prospect of getting extra 15 points shifted our attention to EE again. We took IELTS (General) together and my wife cleared the thing. She has B.A in English sha. Along the line I also confirmed from the contact I got in NTI Kaduna that people have successfully validated their PGDE with WES and that finally changed the story.

For POF we used a joint account. We also had my PFA account statement but to avoid stories that touch the heart, the money we had in the joint account covered the basic POF needed. The PFA account was just added as extra.

The major challenge we had was hussle for 2 or more certificates. That is where I will always be grateful to Nairaland. I came here and asked if anybody had evaluated the PGDE from NTI. The first time nobody responded but when I asked again, a good friend here gave me a contact tin NTI, Kaduna. Prior to that, we went to their office in the city we live and applied for the transcript but the man there did not look like somebody that knows what he is doing. We applied in December, 2017 and till about February, 2018 the request had not been sent and there was no guarantee it will be pushed. This necessitated my question here for clue which finally paid off.

For those that are still in the journey, my advise is that you should persevere. We had our moments of doubt. We spent money to get things done but at the end success makes you forget what you went through.

ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE GOAL. FORGET ALL DISTRACTIONS AND DON'T BE DISCOURAGED.

Wow... congratulations...super happy for you. I tap into this anoiniting.God bless you as you move ahead....

Love your maturity here. We are all together catapulting at same goal. Meanwhile, we should alwz alwz endeavour to listen & learn from those who are already above us, even if it's in stages(wes-Ielts-Ita-Aor etc), after all, experience they say is the best teacher.
thank you......

It will end well for all of us in Jesus name.

We hardly come out to praise people when they are offering invaluable advise and sharing their experiences. Please let's not criticise unendingly when people give incorrect information. Especially when they apologise/admit they were wrong.

@drcynthia please go and edit your posts in question so this matter can close. If you don't want to delete gabadaya then just strike out the incorrect portions and write the correct thing for our viewing pleasure.

Otherwise people will keep registering their alarm as they catch up on the thread. Lol.
I just deleted it. Thank u so much.... definitely won't happen again.... God bless u.

I guess stamping documents isn't their strongest suit. My offer of employment isn't stamped either. All those medical reports we used to prepare for patients in those days only carried signatures. No stamp
ok

Yes. Mine is on a letter head with the number and email of the CMAC who signed the letter

Thanks Dr. Cynthia. You are ever helpful
exactly, CMACs name and email is also on mine....but I tot gov hospitals usually have stamps? Better still....if u know of anyone who has gotten LOR from the hospital ask if it was stamped. Mine was stamped.

Is it compulsory for the letter of reference to be stamped?
mine was stamped....but I think I read somewhere on this thread that is isn't important if it's stamped they laid emphasis on letter head and contact no/email of the person's signing the letter.......but pls confirm.....

What happened on your previous application and effort with the agent?
Agent kept asking for more money for A, B, C and D and more....finally when I realised how off key I had gone....I decided to do it myself....the scam was that he said i couldn't apply for EE, I won't get it and my hubby should be the PA.....but because of his age he said he would help hubby get a job offer from Canada then we can apply....so.all the money we paid was for the process for him to help hubby get a job offer from canada.......I was busy then with exams...so after passing my exams...I had more time to do it myself..and it's been going well so far by his grace...I am the PA now.

Agents are usually very dangerous. A bit funny because I'm sure at this moment you already know more than that agent will ever know... the way you've been dishing out helpful info on the thread.
...learnt alot from this thread and also friends....I spent alot of Money on agent...until I decided to ask questions and do it myself....we learn everyday....

Even that additional qualifications is only in some instances. Just trying to be clear that in a straightforward situation there's no link between job and study.
my first application...I used an agent....that's what he kept telling my husband...we had to put all his work esp under personal history....

Sis, I am an Engineering graduate. I have worked in financial services my whole career. I am sure I got PPR before WES started asking for WAEC undecided. Chill please, NOC ain't got nothing to do with this.

It only applies to some provincial nomination programs e.g SINP.

noted....my apologies....much respect...
