Good to see Ajayi back in the team...
He is the only defender we have that can guarantee you goals from set piece..Plus he can also play DM...
Akpoguma has more set piece goals at the top level than Ajayi does.

I think it’s your sadiq umar from division 2 that took dessers spot grin
IMO (I know TheLoneCitizen won't like this) from what I have watched of both, Sadiq is a better striker than Dessers is. Sadiq is as technical, as good a finisher, as fast (or even faster I think), much taller, much more physical and commanding etc. The only aspect I rate Dessers higher than Sadiq is in positioning and Sadiq is still not too far behind in that aspect too.

It has nothing to do with mediocrity, this a proper tournament, you cant be experimenting at tournaments, there's no guarantee that he hit the ground running with the team, club side performance does not always translate, Onuachu is a clear example!
On the contrary, I would have to disagree with your last phrase. Onuachu has performed extremely well with the SE, we just have unrealistic expectations of the guy.

If you watch his Genk games, he plays exactly as he does in the SE. Static, doesn't really mark, looks slow and poor on the ball. His prowess, however, is in his finishing. He pounces on any loose ball in and around the box, and he rarely misses.

How many misses has Onuachu had in the SE since his debut? I can remember one against Cameroon first half and few other half-chances, but I don't think he has had more than 4 misses in all the games he has played for us.

The question you should be asking is why we aren't creating enough chances for our strikers.

Recipe for disaster.

Watch out for Olisah Ndah, he is the real deal
In South Africa? No he is not.

As a striker, yes, it is possible to be in an obscure league and still be able to compete. As a defender, you need crucial experience playing with the best strikers regularly to really hone your game. CC Ekong, he looked decent in Italy and Turkey, but when he came to the prem and met strikers like Salah and Sterling, guy couldn't match up. Some of the mistakes he has been making would have been eased out of his game much earlier in his career if he started playing guys like Salah and Sterling when he was much younger.

Ndah may look good playing against strikers from Kwara United and Orlando Pirates, but what happens when he starts an AFCON match and he has to mark Mahrez or Haller or Salah? Will he still be the real deal?

It won't fly.. The player himself is happy to receive a call-up.

Dennis is very familiar with these SE players. He played U-23 with Chuks, Osimhen and co, also has had invites here and there. Guy is very patriotic.

You cannot use your best Midfilder at CB. It makes no sesnse..
In the SE, Onyeka has performed better as a DM than Ndidi. Ndidi was originally a CB before Genk converted him to DM. He plays very well as a CB.

This is just a poor chap with d mentality of d average naija youth who suddenly starts seeing huge money which eventually enters his head, leading him to feel he has arrived and resort to doing rubbish upandan especially with women....this affected his output significantly and made him someone who no longer feels the urge to give his all...same applies to that useless ISAAC SUCCESS as well.
Overrated or not, he has the best passing and shooting technique in our entire team. No one remotely comes close.

Ajax is refusing to let Kudus play for Ghana in AFCON. The club thinks it’s unwise for him to do so as he has struggled with multiple injuries at club level and lacks match fitness
Ghana is really suffering. Many young talented players, all of whom are either not interested or have been advised to boycott the national team. I don't think this is unrelated to the FA scandal they had a few years ago.

Napoli should just forget about seria A

If they don’t take care they will also snatch top 4 from them just as last season

They just collected 3 points from AC millan for nothing

They are missing their Victor and koulibally but they are just so annoying
Victor has been fit for a week at least. He could have played the Milan game. I think they are using the injury to delay him awaiting positive news from AFCON (i.e AFCON postponed, deadline for registering players passed, etc).

You make decisions with your head and carry it out on the ball, everything a player does is on the ball technique or not is from the head, now those who define technique define as the most simple of ball tasks regardless of grade I don't know why this is hard for you to understand
Technique is how well you execute tasks with the ball. It could be anything from passing to shooting etc. irrespective of your strengths or position.

No be this one I ask you at first ,Thegoodjoe has explained to me already

But a young striker can be among top strikers in the world ,he will be categorized at top young striker and top striker alongside with lewa and co

Example Haaland and mbappe are both young and will be regarded as top players together with the older ones despite belonging to the young category
They have both earned the right to be in that category with consistent performances blowing everyone else out of the water. Osimhen has done that just yet.

I don’t understand

Vardy closest to osimhen ? Meaning we can now compare top strikers to osimhen who is not yet there ?
There is a difference between top strikers and top young strikers. Artistes like Rema and Fireboy are some of the best in Africa, but when you talk about the top artistes you talk about Wizkid, Burna, Olamide and co. It does not in any way mean that Rema or Fireboy are "not yet there" in your own words. It is just that they have not been there long enough to be mainstays.

If dribbling is all you see in Ejuke's game, then maybe you don't know the player that i am talking about, or you don't watch him.

Talking about technique, Aribo doesn't come close. Do you know that Iheanacho, Iwobi, should i add Nwalkali, and even Victor Osimhen have more technique in their game than your Aribo.

It is obvious some of us on this thread doesn't know what technique in football is.
Aribo has better technique than Iheanacho, Iwobi, and Nwakali. Osimhen's technique is a bit better than Aribo's though, but Osimhen is not as sleek. Iheanacho has excellent shooting and good passing but is poor everywhere else, Iwobi when not confused can pull off the odd skill or pass but is poor everywhere else. Nwakali from the little I've watched in the Segunda is just lazy on the pitch. He doesn't like getting his shirt dirty.

Ejuke is the only player in our team that arguably has the best technique, slightly better than Osimhen and Aribo.

You are very wrong sir. He his not even close to them in quality. Dude is as described above. He has no finesse or technical astuteness about his game. He his all about pace & power. Gra gra & insha Allah as quoted earlier fitted him perfectly. Injury to first choice leftback & his super agent factor is what his helping him out. He oftentimes looked naive positionally when defending.
The good think with Zaidu though is that he actually has the pace, power, and stamina. His crossing is also not too bad.

Nope... From the video I think he might decide to play Ejuke as a 10 considering the way he compared him to Okocha. I see him playing a front 3 of Dennis, Osimhen and Chuks with Ejuke at AM and Onyeka + Ndidi in midfield.

Why huh

Because most clubs in Europe cannot afford to buy it them .

However, opportunities for young players in the highly competitive EPL means some will look at lesser league or go from the Championship to first tier league in Europe.

So for instance Jadon leaves Man city to Bundesliga and essentially cleans up, Jude Bellingham at 17 also leaves Birmingham city straight to the Bundesliga and has been outstanding, youngest ever Player to score for B.Dortmund. Ademola ,Batshuayi, Reiss Nelson, all made great impact in the Bundesliga.

Aina was voted best RWB in the Championship and no opportunity in Chelsea goes to Seria A and has been outstanding given accolade as fastest player in Seria A to at one stage. Tomori found no opportunity in Chelsea and is definitely a top top CB in AC Milan his progress anchored in on his outstanding season in the Championship.

Trgs Abraham was outstanding in the Championship and outstanding in the EPL. But left out for non football reasons.

HOWEVER, the situation with KC is not comparable he has been highly DISSAPOINTING. After his £25 million pound transfer he has played five seasons in the EPL for Leicester City and after 106 games in an the EPL he has scored 22 goals. That's just ABYSMAL there is no excuse.

That's why he had remained in the EPL NOBODY will pay him half of what he is currently getting not be even in in the Championship
If I was Nacho I would be getting my agent ready to secure a January loan move to clubs like Newcastle.

“I Know Say We Agreed On Friends With Benefits,Which One Kon Be Say You Don Dey Fall In Love With Me"

If you translated what Osimhen said to English, he meant:

I know we agreed on being just friends who have sex (intimacy is the right word), so why are you telling me you have fallen in love with me?

Meme or not? This category of public figure should never post this.
So when Zlatan posted that as he left MLS, Americans should go back to playing baseball, you think that was not offensive to an entire nation?

Zlatan said on national TV that Carlos Vela, the best player in the MLS, is a poor player because he is not in Europe at his prime. That's slandering both a player and a league at once. Did you see anyone bash Zlatan?

All sport is entertainment, and sportsmen entertain on and off the field. As long as what he says is not bad (inciting violence, hate speech etc) then he has the right to say whatever he likes on social media. Or have you ever heard any news that Osimhen missed training because of an orgy or he brought prostitutes to the training ground before? He does his job on the pitch and that is what matters.

Any Nigerian will easily understand Osimhen's post. Any naija celeb will post like that and will get a million engagements. But his European fans can't even understand him, sincerely.

It doesn't have to be bad. Its what's at stake here that should be considered. He needs to carry them along and probably cut less on the street boi levels. He's more than a naija star. He's a world star already. Adjustment is required.

We his Nigerian fans will always understand this.
We should be happy we have someone carrying our indigenous language and culture to the world.

Instead, we keep bashing the guy because he refuses to conform to the traditions of foreigners.

Funny thing is, if Messi or Aguero post in Spanish or Ronaldo in Portuguese we will all be impressed at how they are repping where they are from (some people will even go as far as learning spanish to reply or using google translate), but when our own decides to post in pidgin which is our own language we keep bashing him everyday. Colonial mentality.

The Europeans have never liked the idea of the AFCON taking place in January for obvious reasons.. The covid-19 pandemic has given them a good reason to further push for it's cancelation..

Meanwhile, the Euros, Copa America and gold cup went ahead in the summer without fuss...

I hope CAF would be bold enough to resist it...
This is one of the major reasons Africa is the gutter of the world today... A certain victim mentality that is a combination of envy, ignorance and self-indulgence.

You really think Europeans are planning a global football conspiracy to take over african football and make us bow to their will? That they engineered a conspiracy of a new global coronavirus strain killing thousands of people just to give them an excuse to stop the mighty AFCON?

For your point about the Euros and so on, if we held our great and mighty AFCON when Euros and the rest were held, would there have been any fuss? The child who does not eat when others are eating should not complain when no food is left for him.

Iwobi just destroyed a perfect counter attack by refusing to play a simple pass to Doucoure to set up a one-on-one. He had at least five seconds to pick the pass and still messed it up.

I still think Aribo is a better passer than Iwobi, and Aribo should be tried as a 10 in place of Iwobi with Onyeka and Ndidi behind him.
