he is one of the worst players in the current super eagles set up

Even if he plays regularly for watford next season he should be excused from the team for now
Seeing how sociable Ekong is, I think he should still be in the team. He should just not be playing games, especially over guys like Bassey and Ajayi for instance. Same with Balogun. The oyibo wall is over.

He was one of their better players. But Everton are really poor.

Need those attacking signings.
Everton should go get Ryan Kent from Rangers and Dennis from Watford.

I'll not be surprised to see them pursuing useless throwaways like Dele instead of making smart signings.

Lord Iwobi about to anoint some unbelieving Americans this morning.
I love this anointing.

Iwobi may not survive EPL next season.

He better go for fasting and prayers now that Richarlison is gone.

Kanu doesn't have football sense...I laugh in Latin
You can be a good player while still being deficient technically… Adama Traore is a good example.

The difference between a Moses Simon and a Raheem Sterling is football sense. Not to say Simon is a bad player, but in times of clutch decision making where every pass and dribble has to be precise, you’d rather have Sterling than Simon.

I wonder how una Dey take enjoy female football
The game is much freer, it is spontaneous, anything can happen at any moment.

Men football is boring nowadays because of the tactical restrictions in gameplay.

I posted this on the 8/07/22 some people started another session of caricature but I ignored and waited for this to come to pass as usual. Ucheibe is strong and reliable,Ngozi Okobi is mobile while Uchenna Kanu has better goal scoring threat than all our forwards.
Kanu doesn’t have football sense. Cold finisher, fast, athletic, dribbler, but piss poor decision making. Offside awareness also poor. She has amazing potential but she needs to learn technicality.

Gift Monday is a female Chukwueze from the left. Amazing dribbling from an inverted winger. Good touches, but inconsistent, not physically strong enough, and poor decision making. Holds on to the ball for too long.

Rasheedat is our best player by far. She is so smart on the ball, so efficient. She had 3 assists yesterday from exactly the same type situations. When Payne drifted forward in a similar scenario, she wasn’t good enough to ping the low crosses the way Rasheedat Was doing it, else we would have had 6 goals.

Onumonu is the female Tammy Abraham, no cap.

no let someborri catch you ooo
Oshoala is a pace merchant. Good on the ball, after all she started out as a midfielder.

Oshoala is not a 9. Because you are big and fast doesn't make you a good 9. Being a 9 is about instinct and intelligence to score goals.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by drDoom3(m): 9:21pm On Jul 07, 2022
Onumonu is a better 9 than Oshoala.

WAFCON/AWCON 2022: Oshoala ruled out for rest of the tournament

Well, No more Asisat. Sad but it's Time for the likes of Vivian Ikechukwu, Uchenna Kanu and Monday Gift to rise and take charge.

Ifeoma Onumonu will now be free to play her focal point role in attack.

Our best game of 2022 came without Asisat Oshoala.

She is our biggest gun alright but it is best she is excused to recover from injury. Wishing her smooth recovery.

Meanwhile, the show must go on.
It was clear she was injured since kickoff. I don’t know if the Randy guy was drunk in training as he didn’t see that.

Alozie, Ohale, Onome, Plumtre

Ucheibe, Ayinde

Rash

Ordega, Oshoala/Ify, Uchenna

This should be our starting 11 going forward.

The South Africans rode their luck!

We gat this!

Also our main keeper will return in the next game!
Oshoala is injured. She should leave the tournament and go get medical treatment instead of playing with injury.

Has she set a foot wrong?
Onome is an old warhorse and she's one of the best in the team, she deserves a the spot.
Forget she gave the assist to Rasheedat.

She is 39. She is a warhorse, but a 39 year old one. Kgatlana was too fast and agile for her.

She is too old to man an ambitious defense. She is not a bad player by any means, age has just caught up with her.

Onome Ebi is 39. What is she still doing in this team?

Why are players like Uchenna Kanu on the bench? Remove Oshoala and move Onumonu to the center, Kanu to the left.

How has Chikwelu made a career out of playing football? She reminds me of secondary school ladies with their clumsy legs on the pitch.

Rasheedat should be the 10, then we find another proper midfielder.

baba there is life after footballing career and I think him remaining in England to secure citizenship is a good move

He can remain in the Uk and work with clubs or operate businesses after his career is over
So players from poorer countries that are developing their game instead of hustling for citizenship don't know what they're doing abi?

Ndidi in the same club is about to get a degree from De Montfort University, but you won't hear anything about it. Peter Olayinka is an Albanian citizen, you won't know. It doesn't stop their game, their development etc. Imagine you hear news that Arsenal is interested in Osimhen, but he doesn't want to leave Italy because he wants to get their citizenship, you'll just laugh.

It is important to plan for life after football but I personally think Nacho's method is not the best. If you are confident in your abilities and personality beyond football, you won't need to chase those things, they will chase you. Albania rushed to give Olayinka citizenship so they could cap tie him, he still rejected it at the end because of the passion for his country and also his career development. That is the trademark of a player who wants to be a world beater. As the Bible says, seek ye first...

10M for Iheanacho is a steal! What kind of agent does this guy have?

https://www.owngoalnigeria.com/2022/06/28/leicester-city-tables-contract-extension-offer-to-ndidi-open-to-trading-iheanacho-shuns-deal-for-lookman/
My man should leave Leicester ASAP.

I don’t think he is really interested in his career nowadays, I think his priority is to make money and be set for life. Else, why would a player be pursuing citizenship rather than development at this stage of your career?

Imagine Iheanacho had Osimhen’s mentality. We would have had a De Bruyne on our hands.

Aribo is in our top 5 players, no cap.

but he flops when Playing for the super Eagles
Aribo has consistently remained one of our best players. I don't know the football you are watching.

He has not been very flashy recently (as Iwobi has been for instance), but he has been precise and kept things compact in his play.
