Once again your complete lack of knowledge and understanding makrs you be say a lot of nonsense to be honest.

Do you know how many thousands of boys go on football trials at Chelsea but fail to get selected. Some become mentally depressed.

For your information Mbappe was on trial at Chelsea but failed to get selected.

If you by a miracle get past the trials ,you ate now in continuous competition year in year out. Every year a 20% of boys are dropped from the squad, could be more. Some are so depressed at being dropped and released they commit suicide.

When you get to 12/13 Chelsea will buy teenage football players showing potential. These new players from Brazil, France, Portugal, etc May cancel out existing players in the team and they will be released.

So you have survived until 15/16 you now have to prove you are first team quality. You will be competing against experienced quality proven players bought for sometimes £50 million plus+.

Add to all that the hard work , training since the age of 7

If you then somehow overcome 4/5 times a week gruelling training , After all these hurdles you then discover the manager doesn't like you or your agent and you are released i.e. Pogba released from United.

I could go on and on , do you know how many players get injured and can no longer continue end of the road ❓ What about racism huh Do you know how many players are denied opportunity because they are black.

So by sheer tenacity, outstanding ability and the Grace of God, you make it to the first team. Will anybody unless they are highly ignorant say to you, you had too much opportunity.

That's a nonsensical proposition without any substance.
Local boys suffer all this and more.

I believe you sacrifice to grow. Nacho needs to take charge of his life. Just like how Gabriel Jesus is doing. Gabby Jesus now tells Guardiola where he wants to play. He is now likely leaving and will choose a club that will give him playing time and play him his preferred way.

Iheanacho has really grown tactically this season. It is time he applies his knowledge and chooses a stable club with a working system.

I believe Gabriel Jesus is going to take a pay cut, likely he will join Arsenal.

Iheanacho will need to sacrifice if he is going to make an impact in this generation. He should take a pay cut with a guarantee of playing time. He should also reach out to Vieira and Pelegrini if there is a guarantee for him.

He needs to make that sacrifice. He is one of the most gifted players of this generation. He should not let it waste.
Is Iheanacho as gifted as we make him out to be?

His shooting and through passing is world class. Everything else is average at best. In modern day football, man cannot live on two qualities alone.

You people are funny oh. You think there's any place on this planet where people find it easy? FGS professional football is extremely competitive. I think you guys underrate this a lot. Millions of aspiring players never get a chance even in England.

It's not as if things get easier for those living in England. Where there are more opportunities, there's even more competition. The struggle to play professionally is much tougher in England than Nigeria. Look at this report from Playerscout UK
The reason it looks competitive is that many parents want to cash out and throw untalented kids in. Some kids mistake passion for talent, making their parents put them in those academies. However, if you are as talented as you should be, you will make it pro.

In Nigeria, even the talented ones don't have the opportunity. Most of these boys you see making waves in Europe (Awoniyi, Osimhen and co.) if you hear their stories you'd notice that it was mostly luck (one day they were playing and a scout just saw them or something) combined with sheer tenacity (trekking for hours to train, begging for transport money etc). They all had lucky breaks. It is very difficult to see English born players that faced similar problems in terms of how bleak it was (e.g. maybe Aribo).

You shift the goalpost too much.
For a striker, aerial ability is about scoring headed goals or headed assists.

Comparing Osimhen with VVD on aerial abilities is bullcrap!

Osimhen is a better player than Tammy, you better agree now, because if you don't now, you'll definitely agree in the nearest future.
Osimhen is as good or better aerially than VVD, at least with current stats. Crazy aerials won pg, crazy number of headed goals, etc etc. BTW, he has scored headers against all the English clubs he has faced so far.

Some things have to be taught at a very early age, then the players adapts them and personalises then to make it unique to himself.

You can't teach people to be like Zizzi (Zidane ), JJay Okocha, Ronaldinho.

Look at Olise and Eze you can't coach that you can only enhance it . Look at Benzema, Salah, these things are not taught just enhancrd what is already there.

There is no amount of coaching at the age of 22+ that will make Victor O begin to have the touch of Messi, Ronaldo and or Benzema. And or the technical Finesse of Mahrez or Tega Abraham or Salah.

These are technical skill sets if not established young are near impossible to institute afresh from scratch.

I remember Thierry Henry was already technical astute but Wenger took it to another level and made him a striker. The rest is history.

I have seen boys at 10/11 and you can see that the DNA to be a mesmerising technically astute "baller" is already there.

That's my experience and opinion.
Victor already has amazing aerial prowess and ball control, if you have those then getting a sublime touch is achievable with practice.

Victor is a decent dribbler, not a Neymar though obviously. A little better coaching will train him on how to use dribbles effectively.

The finishing is already there, just needs fine-tuning in things like one-on-one composure.

He makes good runs, better coaching will teach him how to make intelligent runs.

What more does he need to be world class that he doesn’t already have to an extent? Just needs coaching and personalized training to sharpen his game and make him more effective, he is still too raw.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8vzkuCLHE8
On the contrary, big difference.

Zlatan had an angle favoring the bottom corner. That means even good keepers would struggle.

Osimhen's was straight down the middle, meaning any decent keeper would have enough time to get across and catch the ball.

BTW, Osimhen scored this exact Zlatan goal against Bayern in pre-season, just so you know.

Absolutely , first thing is to be true to yourself.

When Victor O was in the French League he made more sprints than anyone else in the entire league.

Because that's his main attribute pace then you add the aggression garnished with aerial ability. In addition I think he has a relentless work ethic, the guy is non stop.
All those attributes are not enough. Haaland has all those plus much more, and Haaland is 21.

If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. Guys like Haaland and Mbappe have so much more in their locker, its not even a competition.

There is so much Osimhen needs to work on in his game. So much.

When we say long rangers, we mean top bins. Balls that were rocketed into the top/mid corners from difficult angles at a distance from goal. It could be a curler, it could be a rocket.

You are bringing strikers of 20 years ago.

All modern world class strikers score from anywhere they can get a sight at goal. Osimhen 's left foot is dead, he can't curl with his right. This affects his movement because when he gets the ball, he tends to drift to the right wing reducing his chances of scoring because he is too right footed rather than going inside the defender to set up a one-on-one with his left foot. This is just one of many places in his game that is glaringly poor for a CF, and I am surprised it has not been coached out of him yet.
By the way, this is one of the reasons why Osimhen needs a move. His development is stagnating badly at Napoli. I can't really see any improvement in his game over the last year, just same old. This shows that personalized coaching at Napoli is poor or he just doesn't want to train himself on these things.

The best players in the world stay for hours after group training to perfect flaws in their game. With all his dogged mentality, if Osimhen does not do this especially with the glaring flaws he has currently he will never get to that Haaland/Mbappe or even Vlahovic level. He has been too raw for too long, he is 23, by now he should be entering full blown maturity technically football-wise.

The point you made is Osimhen should leave Napoli, as they are an unserious team.

And I'm asking you, what has Osimhen done to distance himself from this seriousness

Football is a game of 11, so Osimhen cannot do anything without the aid of his teammates. But his performances can distance him from the disasters of the club.

How has he done this?
The reason Napoli fails repeatedly is not because of performance, it is because of mentality.

In that team, only Mertens, Koulibaly and Osimhen have a winning mentality, and it's not even about who has actually won something. After all, Insigne won the Euros.

Napoli crumbles under pressure. They can play like prime Barca, but when the going gets tough, they tend to drop their heads instead of lifting. It is the same problem Spurs struggles with. It is about fight, about wanting to die on the pitch rather than losing.

You clearly have not lived in a white dominated society in Europe or North America. You lack knowledge.

Institutional and endemic racism is alive and well, it pervades all areas of society.

In 2003 the NFL introduced the Rooney rule that required all NFL teams to interview for head and senior coach a black and or minority ethnic candidate.

70% of all the players in the NFL are black and yet there is only one black head coach.

How many black managers are in the English league system. How many black players.

Children of West African origin have s higher % achievements rate than White English upper class children at university. They have higher % of first class degrees. When the assessment is objective we win when it becomes subjective we are subjected to blatant relentless RACIAL DISCRIMINATION.

As those high achievers leave university they don't get your top end jobs but the bottom end. There are no exceptions but in general this is how things go.
I don't know much about the UK, but in the US (like in the NFL you mentioned) , that discrepancy is usually because of a difference in priorities between the black community and other racial communities. For example, a black NFL player is much less likely to attend schools and get coaching licenses after retirement than a white player is. Yes, there may be systemic racism on some levels, but it is extremely minimal (especially with the recent dominant ideologies in the West) compared to the real problem: the experiences, support, orientation and training of black kids is so much worse than white kids.

Somebody said that Napoli is a dead team.

I said tongue in cheek who is their striker, implying is he excluded from the dead team or is he not part of it .

In the modern pressing game defence starts by from the front.
The first two goals Napoli conceded were turnovers in their defensive third. Not a striking or pressing error, just poor defense. The last was a counter attack after they came all out to win the game.

Their attack did enough by scoring two goals. The responsibility for holding that lead in the last 10 minutes fell to the defense which capitulated horrendously.

Napoli seem to be the Spurs of Italy, no matter how good they play, they never win anything. Osimhen should start engaging his agent, especially with the buzz on him recently.

What is this "technicality" you guys keep making noise about??

The only difference between Abraham and Osimhen is that Abraham drops deep and holds the ball which allows other players to run into scoring positions which leads to assists

While Osimhen doesn't drop deep and doesn't hold the ball and his usually trying to beat offside trap which means he doesn't wait for and allow other players run into scoring positions.

Abraham, Ihenacho, Awoniyi, Sadiq , Dessers, Moffi play similarly.

Give Osimhen a strike partner like Sadiq or Awoniyi or Ihenacho or Yira sor or Dessers or Moffi then put one of Ihenacho/Aribo/Iwobi/Awoniyi/Nwakwali behind them then at least 3 midfielders and you'll bring out Osimhen's performance.

Which is exactly what Mourinho does with Abraham who has a strike partner who also drops deep then another player behind them then 4 MIDFIELDERS not 1 midfielder as was the case with Eguavoen's formation and tactics.
To make it easier to understand:

Daka is a good CF. He is one of the closest strikers to Osimhen you can find. Aggression, pace, poaching, name it.

Iheanacho is benching him at Leicester. Why? He is not technical enough. Everyone is fast in the EPL, so pace is not enough. You need to be able to link up play, spray passes, make intelligent decisions in tight spaces etc.

Osimhen cannot curve a shot. The last time he scored from outside the 18 was Atalanta with a low shot that the keeper flopped. All standard EPL strikers can score from outside the 18, can curve a ball into the top corner etc. These are the simple things.

Well though out comments and l agree with you.

Essentially the skill sets required for dominance in the Bundesliga are not the same for the EPL.

Haller did not struggle but FLOPPED £45 million pounds 45 games in the EPL and 10 goals is very poor.

However, he goes to the Eredivisie with the highly esteemed Ajax he is now top Goal scorer in that league and counting.
Champions League too.

Haller was never a bad player, he was just used in a system that did not fit his style of play. He was like Joelinton under Steve Bruce.
