Later when some Nigerians got carborateur and tried to convert their petrol gen to cng, they dropped the idea and kept silent.

Even in the USA, the country we used to copy in everything, there are barely 2,000 cng refuelling stations there. Today, petrol and diesel remain efficient means of powering automobile engines. Any Nigerian who falls for this lie the way they fell for the generator would only throw away money once again.

It’s the report from the committee set up to look into how Nigerian government can effectively cure the damages on the economy of the nation which is occasioned by the current state of foreign exchange and tax system the country is operating.

Part of the committee’s recommendation is : the foreign exchange market would be expanded to include not only the old popular foreign exchange players BDC but also other new operators.

The implication of the above is , the naira will stop crashing against every other foreign currencies, not just dollar.

The committee actually came up with enviable , logical and practical ideas and solutions which if truly followed , the economy of the country would favor everyone and perhaps a viable ways to attract reliable foreigner investors with long term goals of running their business ventures in Nigeria.

I was listening to one of Davido's old songs this morning when my attention suddenly got fixed on Davido's part in the song "Billing" by Spyro featuring Davido. Spyro is another sensational Nigerian musical artist who has left behind some interesting stories in the Nigerian entertainment industry, but that's a story for another day.

Let's get back to the main purpose of this discussion. I would advise you to listen to the song while reading my analysis of "Billing" - Spyro ft Davido. You will understand later why I claim that Davido is a prophet.

The message of the song is simple: "Face your hustle as a man." Davido's perspective is that when things go low for guys, they rely on a code of brotherhood to help each other out.

On the other hand, when ladies face difficulties, men are expected to spend money on them. This implies that before a lady spends on you as a man, you must have spent on her first.

Davido now states that he is focusing only on two things: making money and lavishing it on himself. Nothing else bothers him. He briefly paints a picture of how confident he is in quickly spending the money, indicating that he has a lot of it. He suggests that only the poor wait a long time before making financial decisions, but wealthy people don't waste time when it comes to making financial moves.

Davido's part in the song stands out, supported by a mild and cozy Afrobeat. The fast pace and urgency with which Davido delivers his lines add to the effect.

Davido has used this song to answer future questions about his future struggles. Although the song was done a long time ago, he stated that he was only focusing on two things: cashing out and spending lavishly on himself. He understands that "nobody will be there when money is not available."

"When money is not available" could mean during significant life problems, not necessarily just about money. "And nobody will be there" could mean that when faced with challenging life situations, you are likely to be disappointed because those people you relied on won't be there for you.

SOME LITTLE DETAILS YOU DID NOT KNOW ABOUT IN THE EKWEREMADU CASE

David Ukpo Nwamini is the 21-year old Lagos street hawker who was to give his kidney to Ekweremadu’s daughter IN London. When he was interviewed at the hospital in London, they asked him if he knew he was to donate his kidney to Sonia Ekweremadu. He first told them that he had no money to donate. They explained to him that it was his kidney that he was to donate. He asked them what was kidney. Initially, the doctors thought it was a question of language, since David’s English was not good enough. However, they eventually understood that David did not know which human organ was called kidney. In other words, he did not know what organ he was to give Sonia. That led the doctors to conclude that the procedure was not well-explained to David and that is the umber one requirement by law. According to the law, you must explain to the organ donor the procedure and all the health risks associated with the procedure. It is only then that the donor is taken to have informedly consented. When the doctors found that David did not understand what he was about to get involved in, they declared him a mismatch.

The term “mismatch” is a technical generic language to indicate that the proposed organ harvesting has not met all the requirements. Many in Nigeria have misunderstood the term “mismatch” in this case to meant that David’s kidney was not suitable for Sonia. No! There was nothing wrong with David’s Kidney. To donate an organ, the facts must match both the law and the science governing the procedure. While the kidney matched the scientific requirement, the facts did not match the legal requirement. So, it was declared a mismatch. To help you understand it better, the term “mismatch” means there is a discrepancy.

The doctors who interviewed David did not and could not have determined that a crime was committed. The doctors did not have sufficient information to reach such conclusion then. They felt uncomfortable with the discrepancies in the information they had about the donor and his decisions and whether he had made up his mind. For instance, the doctors did not get involved in how David was brought to them or whether he was paid. It was not their duty to deal with that. It was actually when Ekweremadu and Dr. Obinna attempted to return David to Nigeria that the problem started. David expected that he would be given a job in London as he was told before he left Nigeria. They did not give him job and they did not send him to school. Instead of all he was promise, he was asked to prepare to return to David ran away from the house where he was kept. As hunger wired him, he reported himself to the police. To win the immediate protection of the police, he lied about his age by telling them he was 15. It was when he was interviewed by the police that the information came out which established that a crime was committed. For instance, it was at the police station that they asked him if he was paid money and he said yes he was paid N270,000. When the police checked the WhatsApp chats between Ekweremadu and Dr. Obeta they realized that Ekweremadu actually paid 4.5 million for Obeta to pay to David. But Obeta only paid David N270,000 and pocketed the rest.

In fact, Ekweremadu tried to keep himself away from certain details of the deal. That was why Ekweremadu never discussed money with David. In fact, he did not deal directly with David. That was what made it possible for Obeta to cheat him. Ekweremadu believed that the 4.5 million went to David. But since he was not dealing with David directly, he never knew that Obeta pocked most of the money. However, the law viewed Ekweremadu’s decision not to deal directly with David as a typical behavior of a big man who knew that he is getting involvee in a crime. He would usually try to create some distance between him and the crime, yet he will be funding the crime from afar. Otherwise, how come you never wanted to meet the boy that is giving his kidney to your daughter and whom you called cousin to your daughter (which actually makes him your nephew)? Rather than see the non-direct dealing as evidence of his innocence, it was seen as deliberate or willful ignorance aimed at evading legal responsibility.

One of the key factors that worked against Ekweremadu was that he lied. On three official documents he signed, he stated that David was Sonia’s cousin. But in all the WhatsApp chats he had with the doctor and his own brother over the matter, he referred to David as “that guy”. Hence the question: “You knew he was not Sonia’s cousin. While you signed that he was her cousin, when you wanted to say the truth, you referred to him as “that guy”, meaning you didn’t know him or even remember his name”. Ekweremadu admitted in court that he lied and apologized.

NOTE: I decided to provide these details because I have read somewhere it was being said that David misled Ekweremadu and took advantage of him. No, David is a real victim. He did not manipulate them. He was manipulated by Dr. Obinna Obeta, who was working for the Ekweremadu.

I'm not into inverter, but a friend of mine who's a techie guy got to sell some dead inverters and made some decent amount of money. I went to the banking hall yesterday to demand for the closure of the account. I was told initially by those at the counter that I can’t close my account with money inside.

So, I went to a supposed senior department of the bank and I asked if it’s possible. I was told it is that I should write a letter and have it addressed to my account officer.

Apparently, they weren’t willing to feed me with necessary information to go about the process.

But I wrote the letter and submitted.

Now, getting a feedback is the issue. I have no cash on me to even call their customer support.

I want to ask from those who have experienced this before. How long does it take for Gtbank to close down a Dormant account with money inside and further like to know the position of the CBN with regards to this kind of a situation.

Well, as much as African colonizers were corrupt and evil to their subjects, following the independence of some African nations , like Nigeria, how are our African political leaders in any way better than the colonizers?

Are African leaders not killing their own too, just that they are doing it in a systematic way.
