Candidlady:How sure are you the person who orchestrated the murder wasn’t from your gender? This your generalization is dead on arrival. Go rest! |
When I see this kind of news in display on social media , I feel disappointed. These politicians keep using same old selfish dumb method to win hearts of the people. Well, it’s not the fault of our politicians. If Nigerians had not been dumb indeed, it won’t still work for the politicians. The fact that Peter Obi travelled by Economy , how does that translate to him being the best fit to become the Nigerian President? When has it become a special thing to do to fly economy… I don’t understand. |

May 15, 2020, was the day I will never forget. I told my brother I would not be staying home that night and that I would be attending our church's night vigil. So, by 7 pm, I stepped out, and while working down the street, I saw a clean new Benz car packed beside a restaurant. My salary of 15 years as a Secondary school Physics teacher can't buy such a expensive car. The car's price is over board doesn't mean it's a bad idea to have one. Not for someone like me. All things being equal, I should even be riding a way better car. Only in a country like Nigeria someone who studied Medicine will become a dry cleaner. I studied Medicine (orthopedic) at the University of Nigeria 2013/2014 set. "It doesn't mean, one day we go make am too," I said in hopeless self-confidence. While I was about to hit the next poll, I saw a group of people, mostly in their mid-twenties, in a scene indicating either a thief was caught or an accident. When I moved closer enough to them, I discovered it wasn't a crime-related scene but that of a gory bike accident. "It's a tall, handsome man. He just got hit by a bike. And he has fractured legs". So an eyewitness who noticed my ignorant curiosity told me. "But we are trying to find a way to take him to the nearest hospital." The witness added. The word fractured was the hook that caught my attention. As an Orthopedic surgeon, bone fracture is not a stranger to me. Couple with the fact that God blesses me with school or anything education. I was the best graduating student during my set. I moved close to the victim. He was writhing in pain. He was completely immobilized. I swung into action and administered him first aid. And he was now able to walk. Immediately I told him I was late for the church vigil. We exchanged numbers. As I was about to step out to continue my journey, he called me and asked if I could join him in the car, he would like to give me a free trip anywhere in the city to show some appreciation for the assistance I rendered to him earlier. I accepted his offer. So we walked down back to where I was coming from. And lo and behold, it's the same car beside the restaurant. "Well, it appears something good is coming my way this new week. "I said to myself in mind. We entered the beautiful car, and he started the car, and we got moving. While driving, he asked for my name, which I told him. "I'm Jude," he said that he's into PayPal and Crypto exchange. He told me he started the business in 2013. So that's about nine years. He further told me that he had built six houses in Abuja in those years. All luxury and state-of-the-art buildings in different choice areas in Abuja. He was saying this proudly with a soft and assuring smile. He further said that he has 2 of his children studying in one of the most expensive universities in Canada( Mount Allison University.) He has several companies across Nigeria and plans to expand beyond Nigeria to Europe in the next two years. He said he could build all these harems of businesses from the money he makes from the PayPal and Crypto exchange business. He continued and continued… And finally, I got to my destination, and I was about to descend the car when he called me back and said he was ready to teach me the secret behind the PayPal and cryptocurrency exchange business that made him who he's today. I was shocked because that was the least of my expectations then. I quickly jumped at the offer, and he bought me this "Payment Mastery eBook "guide. He said that's all that I need to be successful in life. That he's guaranteeing me that if I don't come back to testify after a month, he will offer me one million Naira to use as I like. I was really happy. I got the ebook sent to my email already. I quickly and surreptitiously downloaded it. We said to each other good bye. I went straight to the church for the night vigil service. One month after, I bought two lands; a few years later, the rest was history. Today, I'm now a proud house owner in Lekki. I have two big companies in Nigeria. So I can make bold to say that I live comfortably now. If you need the ebook, check my signature or my profile for the link to get it . |

Elliot case appears like someone being followed by village people. He had two golden chances to score his first goal for Liverpool yesterday, but he strangely lost them. At this stage I told my friends watching the game with me that they should watch out for him. That something is wrong with him. Not long after he missed those opportunities, he had that very rare problem. The camera was put away from the scene of the incident just because they probably felt it was too graphic a scene to cover. This guy plays really well. Very talented and has a promising career , but his village people said no to his progress. I wish him quick recovery. |
This is absolutely interesting. I must comment the originator of this thread for her selflessness , coming out regularly for over two years to educate people living with Sickle Cell Disease. I always feel sad whenever I find people trapped in this situation, because I know it’s not their fault. I met a lady recently. She looked so beautiful and full of life, very open and caring even more than my current girlfriend. When she told me she’s a SCD patient I felt so sad. It’s the love that I have for her that bought me here. Have been researching about this disease the whole time after this revelation. I want to assure everyone here reading that you don’t fail until you stop trying. From the little have researched, there’s a lot of hope for you health wise. Don’t stop being positive. Eat well. And ensure you keep in touch with folks who only see you as a rare gem. It is well with your souls. |

The doer of this act usually comes from a very unexpected person. It might even be his close friend or wife. |
My deepest condolences and sympathies go to the Family of the Late Olanrewaju Fasasi, Sound Sultan, one of the excellent naija Hip Hop artists that ever graced the earth. |
That’s what I keep saying. You can’t keep male bestie as a lady , yet you claim there’s nothing between you two. You are giving a wrong impression and a reason for him to suspect you, even if you are not cheating on your man. And this could be a trick to make cheating easy for her. This is because when she makes the relationship with her bestie open like that, you as a man would want to overlook so many things about them. Till she starts to pay her bestie visits in his one room and still tell you about it , giving the impression that you already trust her that nothing will happen, to when she begins to open her leg for bestie, you won’t know. Once I sense my woman exhibiting this kind of trait, I warn her about it and if she insists she won’t change, I cut her off. Have been there before: you see those ladies that are always around guys like honey, be very careful with them. 99% of the time they are whores and go check most ladies in this category out, they are mostly materialistic. And one very unfortunate thing about ladies like this you can never satisfy them. Even if you like offer them monthly salary. Give them all the attention of this world. Be handsome like Mr. Universe. They don’t care. Ladies like that can even have it with your close friend. I fear this kind of ladies, honestly. They are good for “chop and clean mouth alone.” This is important to protect your own mental health... |
Again, this life is nothing but full of challenges. Regardless of what you are going through, always remember: no condition is permanent. |
Guys that rape are more evil than the devil himself. I don’t know. The thought of it has never come to my mind to rape a lady that refuses to allow me touch her. I think men that rape are products of broken homes. Please, cry as this allows for you to purge your trauma. Open up to someone that is close to you. Talk, shout and do as your mind pushes you. But don’t ever injure yourself. This pain is not the type that goes away easily. But it will surely pass. So sorry for the harrowing experience you had. |
Gerrard59:There’s money rituals. Stop being ignorant. Stop thinking behind every phenomenon there must be a logical explanation. Im stating this the second time: stop saying what you don’t know again. Money ritual is real. Put that in your head today. Don’t take this ignorance to where someone else will use your glory or star to boost theirs. |
Gerrard59:Absolute ignorance at its peak. You know nothing. |
I don’t support the wife act. But Mnena was the sole cause of this incident. On the other hand, Mnena act was poor and wicked. She provoked that woman. That woman exercised more than enough patience. Haba, you claimed you couldn’t procure an accommodation (a whole ex commissioner’s daughter. Is it money that her parents lack or what ? To me, that accommodation excuse doesn’t add up. She only used that as a means to gain access into the heart of that man. She’s wrong to even agree to stay in that house that long. An attractive lady for that matter. |
Foolishness at its height. This scenery simply exhibits the high level of illiteracy of the youths of that area. Too bad |
illicit:How can I like this comment infinite times, please? In fact, you are super sensible even more than the Afe Babalola himself, sir. He’s a learned yet he failed blatantly to speak with precision to the unfortunate situation the Nigeria youths are facing at this desperate era. Someone should tell the SAN that no human was born dull. Also, that there’s always a “cause and effect” in this life. Nigeria case is like a wealthy mother with 10 children that has plenty of food in the store. She cooks delicious meal every day. She doesn’t feed the children, leaving them starving days on end. Yet, she always warn them to not beg for food from strangers nor attempt to steal food from the neighborhood. The wealthy “mother” in this short analogy is “Nigeria”, while Nigerian youths are “the 10 children.” If you fail to provide enabling environment for those you are charged to govern; no good road; you deep your dirty hands into public funds to fill your pocket at will; and zero respect for rule of law, yet, you want those you govern to act like people living in countries where their system works flawlessly? What sense do we find in that? Even goats know this is counterintuitive. Someone should tell SAN that his position in this matter is totally wrong. He in fact needs to apologize to the innocent Nigerian youths. We have seen instances of several Nigerian youths who left this country for abroad and making waves beyond imagination. If not for the consequences of the bad government Nigerian youths are facing, I’m sure Nigeria youths would have taken over the world in all areas of life. Nigerian youths are naturally brilliant. The innocent youths shouldn’t be the one to be blamed in this case at all. |
candidtalk:Sir, let me ask you a question. How do you describe someone in the capacity of an average Nigerian leader that travels to other nations, and sees how their system works over there perfectly fine, yet comes to his fatherland and advocates for backwards policies? Do you still describe such person to be intelligent and wise in your own subjective view ? By “system” I meant amongst other things: 1. A place where no matter your status, adherence to the rule of law comes first. 2. A place where the leaders serve the people unconditionally. 3. ... where the leaders thoroughly embrace transparency in handling of public properties, and funds entrusted to them in accordance to the administrative regulations and rules. 4. ... where leaders Establish progressive policies that would set in motion fair play ground for all and sundry to participate in politics of their nation. 5. ... where leaders are after competition of best idea. I mean: How do I get myself involved in Nigeria politics ( as you have pointed out in your prolonged remark above) when even the ones ruling us don’t adhere to the rule of law and blatantly disobey court order with impunity? Sir , you saw the little peaceful EndSars protest and how it all ended? You saw all these things yourself sir. It wasn’t like someone narrated the stories to you. The moribund system being vigorously propagated by the empty headed Nigerian leaders has created an awkward view of what a sane human environment is to the Nigerians. You feel citizens who are not participating in the Nigerian politics are fools, lack bravery in all senses , and are failures. A few folks still remains in this country that would never be brainwashed by the polluted political environment consistently being encouraged by the useless Nigerian leaders, giving a large number of Nigerians the impression that what we experience today in this country is what ought to be in a sane human environment. I would assume you read it in the news yesterday where the Chadean President was fined of certain amount of money for breaking the COVID 19 set rule. You saw this sir. You saw the manner in which the likes of Biden and Donal Trump are handling the election matter with utmost diplomacy. You may actually think I’m in support of one political party. This is not about one political party. It’s about the welfare of our people, our unborn generation; these wicked leaders have made it impossible for things to work in this country. The result of their misrule has created in the mind of the citizens so many misconceptions about the world at large, most especially amongst our youths. Today, with the examples the empty headed Nigerian leaders lay down, youths see no value in integrity. A large number of Nigerians only see their primary purpose of existence to be for material things, because that’s what our failed leaders preach everyday from their actions. I can go really deep into things about this country that you will be shocked, sir. With due respect sir, don’t ever refer to the present Nigeria government as an entity practicing a true democracy, because all the basic features of a true democracy Nigeria government lacks. You can always find a proper adjective next time sir to qualify the type of government system Nigeria is practicing today. |
OneTemplate:So, do you want to debunk the fact that Nigeria is a useless country? Or do you still want to argue against the fact that Nigerian leaders carry empty brains and that they have no human feelings? What I stated is a public knowledge sir. And surprisingly, you quickly jumped into a conclusion that I have a failed life, even for someone you don’t even know ? Omo, I just weak for this country. How did we get here ? |
A very useless country. Finding myself being governed by these empty brains with no human feelings makes me wanna puke. |
He enjoys being controversial. Simple. |
madridguy:You are correct. I got scammed here via one of the ads on nairaland. I even opened a thread on it. It’s so sad that nairaland doesn’t do kyc for their advertisers before approving their ads. |
Another logical angle: it could be the US has an incomplete investigation which his presence is fundamental to unraveling the secret Everything doesn’t have to be straightforward when dealing with hardened criminals. That’s what marks the difference between the developing countries and the developed countries. The former all they know is kill kill kill once a hardened criminal is caught. I’m so sure if this criminal had been caught in a country like Nigeria, he would have been gone by now. |
You guys absolutely don’t have a job. Rubbish |
