I am a Biafran. Nigeria was created by slave traders, to accommodate their conquered slaves. Since you claim to be a Biafran, then go and use your Biafran international passport at Akanu Ibiam International Airport and see the way they will bundle you out like a log of wood. My brother, you are only a Biafran with dream but in reality you are a Nigerian. You formally cease to be a Nigerian the very day UN recognise Biafran |

Why do you Yorubish like giving yourselves too much credit? Tinubu did not singlehandely deliver the presidency to Buhari.
The Southwest votes are there for all to see, the margin was tight in the Southwest with Ekiti going to PDP.
Buhari's emergence is largely due to Jega's shenegains in PVC distribution and also due to Ab0kis vote patterns in the north.
Very soon you ediots will soon claim you invented democracy. hmmmmmmm, read my post again i never said Tinubu singlehandedly gave Buhari the president. Likewise also we can even assume he singlehandedly gave Buhari the President , if not while did PDP focus their hatred documentary on Buhari and Tinubu ? For Ekiti, only if Fayose will be able to finish his tenure. If Buhari was due to Jega shenegains, what then can you say when the same Jega was declaring Jonathan winner of 2011 election. When 2011 favour you , you call it free and fair, i called it rig. Now this 2015, you call it rig , i call it free and fair, so my brother let us till 2019 and we will see who it will favour. As for declaration of assets. I beleive that after some time (verification & documentation), the freedom of information bill already in law would allow Nigerians to request for that information and it MUST be made available for all to know.
Failure to release those documents would among to breach of law and a case in court... @bolded, u nail it, that is where most Nigerians are getting it wrong. Anyone that wishes to know the worth of PMB or VP , they should invoke the FOI |

Sports › FIFA Tells Nigerian Referees To Forget Officiating At World Cup by dridowu(op): 3:59pm On May 30, 2015 |
Carlos Henriques, FIFA Referee Development Officer, has called on Nigerian referees to forget about World Cup officiating ambition for now.
Henriques gave the advice in an interview with NAN in Abuja on Friday.
He advised them to concentrate more on how to secure the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) slots.
Henriques said that the Nigerian referees needed all the support they could get to earn a World Cup slot.
“I think before you start thinking of the World Cup, you have to start thinking of the Africa Cup of Nations.
“Let’s start working, thinking to produce referees to represent Nigeria at the continental competitions; that is our main goal.
“After they start, and be part of the continental of referees, definitely the chances are there for the World Cup.
“They have to wake up like everyone else; everybody has a chance, provided they work hard. They have to work hard, and working hard is not just going out there and work hard.
“They have to work hard in all fields, especially in achieving a high level of fitness as well as the way they manage and approach players.
“So, this is all part of training that the referee has to be subjected to; it’s not easy to be a referee.”
According to him, there are no much challenges that will stop Nigerian referees from achieving this target since they have a very good team of referees’ instructors in the country.
He said that the calibre of CAF and NFA referee instructor like Linus Mba, could give the referees all they needed to excel in the job.
NAN reports that Henriques, Lim Kee-Chong from Mauritius, a former FIFA referee, and Mark Ephraim Nzengo from Malawi, are the FIFA instructors at the ongoing “FIFA Member Association Elite Referees Course”.
The course, which began on May 25 in Abuja, would end on May 29. http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/05/29/fifa-tells-nigerian-referees-to-forget-officiating-at-world-cup/

Politics › Fani- Kayode, Anenih, Other Speak On Buhari’s Inaugural Speech by dridowu(op): 6:22am On May 30, 2015 |
Nigerians yesterday reacted to the President Muhammadu Buhari’s inaugural speech. Fani-Kayode: ‘’I believe his part of non vendetta will be true, all Nigerians should join hands to see Nigeria move forward.
“I believe it was a promising speech and sincerely hope that he is true to what he has said especially on the issue that he will not be on a vendetta mission. I hope he is saying the right thing; hope his words will be proved to be truth.
“It is incumbent upon all of us as politicians to ensure that the next four years go on smoothly. I trust that all will be well and the country will move forward.”
Iyom Josephine Anenih
Pioneer National Woman leader of the PDP and former Minister of Women Affairs and delegate to the 2014 National Conference.
“I like President Muhamadu Buhari’s speech. He was very kind to former President Jonathan by acknowledging the role he played in keeping Nigeria one and united. His avowed blueprint when implemented will definitely spell a positive Change for this country. His speech was very states manly. Very reassuring to the nation.”
The Director- General, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, Asishana Okauru
“ the speech is very encouraging. It has a lot of accommodation in it between the federal government and the states in moving the country forward and the NGF will be ready to participate fully. “
Festus Okoye: Executive Director, Human Rights Monitor and member of the 2014 National Conference:
“The speech lifted the spirit of despair and fatalistic resignation that enveloped Nigeria in the last few years. It was both inspirational and uplifting. He clearly mapped out his navigational chart and direction. His pledge to be for all and for none is a clear indication that he will run a just and fair administration.”
HDP asks Buhari to probe Adoke, EFCC The Presidential candidate of Hope Democratic Party, HDP.
The immediate past AGF, Mohammed Adoke, SAN, sabotaged the trial of some members of the the “cabal” behind the oil subsidy scam, which occasioned untold hardship on Nigerians within the past two months.
“Our position remains that the Attorney General of the Federation and other such Ministers, and the EFCC, who played a major role in the connivance and encouraging the fuel subsidy scam, should be probed to recover trillions of naira belonging to Nigerians now in their possession.
“We demand that the government of Buhari must do this to earn the respect and confidence of Nigerians and the international community and to assuage the embarrassment the government officials have caused the entire nation and the suffering people of Nigeria.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/05/fani-kayode-anenih-other-nigerians-speak-on-president-muhammadu-buharis-inaugural-speech/ |

Car Talk › FRSC Advises Nigerians On How To Drive Successfully by dridowu(op): 11:37am On May 29, 2015 |
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has released ten tips that would help Nigerians to improve their driving skills and operate more successfully. Study carefully. These tips might safe your life one day! STEP ONE If you have access to vehicles of different makes and models, switch them often. This way you’ll be working on driving as a whole, not on driving a specific car. STEP TWO Find a training lot. A disused airfield is the best idea, because it has long straight stretches (the runway), corners (turn way to runway entrance) and wide open spaces (the area in front of the hangars). If you are not so lucky as to have a disused airfield nearby, you may look for these three things separately. You may use abandoned country roads and disused parking lots that measure at least 50 by 50 feet. STEP THREE When you practice, focus not on the driving itself, but on feeling the behaviour of the vehicle. This includes lateral stability, acceleration, braking distance, etc. When you learn how to feel the vehicle, you’ll be able to drive anything at its verge. STEP FOUR Think of any hypothetical situation you may encounter, e.g flat tire, high-speed under-/over steer, pursuit driving, etc. Think what you must do in that particular case, then get in the car and do it. Make a note of your weak points and work to improve them. STEP FIVE Handbrake turning is not only for showing off. It’s the best way to correct high-speed under steer. It’s also useful on icy roads. It gives you confidence on rough road. STEP SIX Practice emergency stopping. If your car has ABS, disable it when you practice. STEP SEVEN Identify each dangerous situation when you drive and remember it. Then, when you have the time, think of what you could’ve done better and practice the preventive measures and maneuvers. STEP EIGHT Learn to drive backwards using only the side view mirrors. Once you get the knack of it, it’s one of the most useful skills a driver can have. STEP NINE Practice emergency in-turn braking. Do it in a wide empty space, not on the road. STEP TEN Test the brakes soon after you start down the road. The guide ends with a warm message, which reads: “Thank for staying with us. We love you all.” http://www.naij.com/447227-frsc-advises-nigerians-on-how-to-drive-successfully.html |

Politics › Jacob Zuma To Attend Inauguration Of Nigerian President by dridowu(op): 10:25am On May 28, 2015 |
President Jacob Zuma will on Thursday travel to Nigeria attend the inauguration of president-elect General Muhammadu Buhari.
Expectation weighs on Nigeria's Buhari as he takes over power Expectation weighs on Nigeria's Buhari as he takes over power New dawn for Nigeria? New dawn for Nigeria?
Buhari will be sworn in on Friday.
In a statement released by the department of international relations and co-operation‚ Zuma expressed “his commitment to working closely with Buhari to enhance the good bilateral relations which exist between SA and Nigeria‚ paying particular focus on the strengthening of economic co-operation”.
Zuma will also use the visit “to further strengthen and consolidate historic and strategic relations between the two countries‚ and to discuss regional and international issues of mutual concern”.
Since the creation of the Bi-National Commission (BNC) in 1999‚ the statement said‚ the “two countries have already signed 34 bilateral agreements and co-operation continues to grow”.
“The total trade between South Africa and Nigeria increased from R15-billion in 2009 to R42-billion in 2013. The South African exports to and imports from Nigeria from January to December 2014 stood at R10.5-billion and R55.7-billion‚ respectively‚” the statement said.
“Nigeria enjoys a surplus trade balance with South Africa‚ which is attributable to huge quantities of oil imports from Nigeria. Meanwhile South Africa exports vehicles‚ aircrafts and vessels‚ iron and steel products‚ machinery and equipment and plastics and rubber.” http://www.timeslive.co.za/africa/2015/05/28/Jacob-Zuma-to-attend-inauguration-of-Nigerian-president
