Goes for as cheap as 20 aed) Orosco Job scammers(agents) and visa agents. Some Guys that bought their Emirate ID just to be in the street, account job and become part time visa agents. I will advise you to print enough papers to show them if on tourist Visa, well Ramadan may have made them calm anyways. They can be flexible on emirate ID, provided the person has the negative test on alhosn. I’ve passed there on few occasions during this Ramadan and nothing has changed as regards the protocol. Those guys don’t have the time to look at papers o. |

I am positive that she will be allowed anyways! If she has active negative pcr result on her alhosn app without the emirate ID, there are 2 possibilities; It’s either She’s directed to confirm her visa/passport in their office beside them at the border and if it’s fine, she’ll be allowed to cross. Otherwise, some of the officers don’t give ppl that opportunity, no ID, no entry. “Go back to Dubai “ is what they’ll say and that’s all. I’ve witnessed both scenarios. |

Hangulsaram: Nigerian poor masses are the problem of themselves, yet we blame government. The little job that should be reserved for our people is what you are advising him to give to Togolese and Cameroonians when we have our own brothers and Sisters that can do it. I hope ur own job is transferred to the same people too. @ LoyalHustler1 I am sure you have some people you knew or relative that can do the Job,all you need is to negotiate with them and tell them what you want. Before you say that our people charge too much, consider the cost of living here in Nigeria and in those countries. God bless you and your hustle. You’re patriotic. That project will keep more than 10 Nigerian artisans busy during its construction and thereby put food on their table. |

glowingflame7: You've spoken very well. For a while, I've discouraged people from even coming at all for now, especially since this Covid lockdown pandemic wahala. Many businesses closed down or have been so so. Generally, there's the issue of downsizing, salary cuts, late salary payments etc and it affects every sector and nationality. But my people still dey come in, lol. So na to siddon look and answer the one way I fit.
Though I still will not advise people to make their own visas. I will rather say you develop yourself, get skilled, get more employable and become an employer of labor. It is every person's goal to get his or her residence. But the major experiences of the past have been scams and tears. People giving money for their own visas and either getting no Visa, or the so called agent making 3months Visa for people. This is why the advice has been, make 3months, see things for yourself. You may get a job and company to make your Visa. If not, maybe it's safer to make it here. Anyway, good luck guys. Those who will hear will hear, those who will not are the majority. You’re right bro. Our brothers and sisters that are coming to seek greener pastures in uae will be better prepared, when they have good information on the true state of things here, in terms of job opportunities and cost of living. That is what this Thread is meant to achieve. So, I don’t think it’s out of place if we let them know that there are very little job opportunities at the moment. Well, we should also be wary of some advices too. Asking people not to attestate their degree is one of them. Such advice is not meant for everyone, ssce holders? Yes. Degree holders? Well, not really. |

Awesomefoodie: Thanks for your response. Pls must I do PCC and also attest my credentials before traveling to Dubai? I am not a graduate though, but I have other certificates in catering and computer training. And also like how much should I come with to secure a job or do any other trainings to secure a job? Pls help me out here. PCC? No need. You don’t need to attest your O’level, it won’t give you any meaningful edge. As per your certificates in catering and computer training, those 2 industries are not my forte. So, I don’t know if they can be considered as a valid document for employment or not. How much money you’ll need to spend before securing a job? Maybe someone can help answer that. My unsolicited advice: The chances of securing jobs has been on a down trend for sometimes. Please weigh your options. Don’t fall for any cooked up story. Note: uae is a very wonderful country. It has given me the platform to move in the direction of my dreams and I’ve benefited enmassly from its generousity. Not so many people, especially those who traveled in recent time without a clear career path, have the same story. Please, do your due diligence and weigh your options before investing on this journey. Good luck |

Awesomefoodie: Pls I need clarification: an agent told me I should pay 800k for a Dubai 3 months Visa plus accomodation, covid-19 test, flight ticket and settling immigrations. And I should hold additional 500$ with me as PTA for me to secure a job and transportation once I get to Dubai. Pls is this true or the money is too much. Yeah, you’ll need up to 800k for those things mentioned. However, giving the entire money to somebody will make you more vulnerable to scam. Don’t do that. UAE visit visa has no fixed amount out there, since you’ll be dealing with agents. What you’ll eventually pay depends on their links and targeted profit. You can get 90 days Visa plus insurance Around 160k(or about 1,200aed), some pay more. Flight fare is still on a higher side and has a wide range, it May cost you btw 300-400k for a return ticket, depending on your travel date and the airline. Accommodation and transportation is up to you. make your arrangements and make payments once you arrive. The agent may link you up but don’t pay until you see the accomodation. You don’t need to settle the immigration and even if you’ll do that, the agent won’t be there with you so why pay him? |

Car Talk › Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by drkay(m): 4:15pm On Nov 10, 2020 |
Good evening Engineers. My wife went for a routine service of our 2010 Highlander with i4 engine yesterday. The mechanic assigned one of his apprentices to handle it. So, today, she wasn’t observing anything wrong in the suv until it failed accelerate well while on speed. She said it was difficult to stop along the route, for her own safety so she kept moving, until it eventually stopped. Then she noticed that there were traces oil spillage trailing along her path. When a helping hand arrived, they noticed that the oil filter was no longer in place. They put another oil and the oil filter, there was no oil remaining in the engine as at the time it stopped. It didn’t start despite replacing the oil. The mechanic that inspected it said that the engine is damaged. Please how best can I fix the vehicle? It’s in ogun state. Thank you. |

I don’t know where it is done around Sharjah but you can check hospitals around you, like NMC. As per your passport renewal, call the embassy( You can get the number via google search), They’ll direct you on what to do. It’s been a while I did mine, so, their timing and mode of operation might have changed due to covid19. |

samutd4u: Good pm Sir please can I do Covid 19 test in Abu Dhabi boarder and how long with the results and how much is the test
Thanks Hi Sir, if you’re in Abu Dhabi, download the SEHA application from your play store. Search for the nearest center to you. The drive through centers are fast and you’ll receive your result after few minutes. There are other centers like Ganthoot and capital health but I feel more comfortable with the drive through centers. If you’ll be coming into Abu Dhabi/ Al ain, it’s better you have your negative result before coming. You’ll find the attached useful, fir more information.
