tonididdy:This is the bitter truth, based on the current reality. Plenty plenty stories these days. Guys planning to japa should look elsewhere. Agents are now using Bahrain visa to chop people money. To me, nothing de that Bahrain. I miss UAE of 2018 sha. |
This kind of story is the reason I've been working my ass out. My daughter won't be at the mercy of someone like this. I may end up not owing a conglomerate of businesses but hey! my kids have got everything they will need prepared for them, as they move on in life. |
So I received a nomination letter for the golden visa from the DOH. How do I take things up from there? I thank the doh and the government of UAE for the opportunity. |
badaoyeyemi:You’ll need 3 years experience before you can apply for any of them. |
badaoyeyemi:I'll send it to you tomorrow. I don't know your plans but I'll strongly recommend DOH. you can even process both. I came here with DHA but I eventually did DOH, based on the reality on ground, then. |
badaoyeyemi:I can send the ones that I used back then in 2017 to you but they'll probably be outdated by now. Kaplan's USMLE step 2 ck note is equally good. For clarification, DOH(HAAD) is conducted by PEARSON VUE, not prometric. |

badaoyeyemi:Hi doc, Unlike what is obtainable in Saudi arabia, where recruitment agencies like Onyva are helping guys to secure jobs with MOH KSA, there's no trusted agency that does that here. You'll need to initiate the processing of your license, write the applicable test and come over to search for job. Dubai is one of the most difficult places to get a job as a Nigerian trained med. doctor. If you wish to migrate to the UAE, I'll suggest that you apply for DOH license and come to abu dhabi. you can download the updated PQR and go through it, if you meet all the requirement, apply for the license. You can appear for test in Lagos. You can then come around for a visit to search for job. You have a good chance in abu dhabi, in terms of job and salary. The agent is not legit pls. |
Oh my God! Nigeria has become very unsafe at this time. May God continue to protect us. |
Lol, illegally recruited doctors that you directed the CMD’s to employ. To capture them na wahala. Without those “illegally recruited doctors “, some of the departments in those hospitals will not have a single Junior reg. |

Elcid1:you can book through wakanow or through the airline directly. might be a bit more costly. |
losky83:Doctors are paid ontime? They’re above the poverty line? They don’t lack jobs? Really? Are these your own assumptions or the reality you see around you? Bros, I am a doctor and I can categorically tell you that many of our colleagues are not doing fine financially, especially the newly-graduated ones. I relocated to Dubai over 3 years ago. Before I left, I was in practice for some years. Those were the most horrible periods in my career. An average doctor loves his job but The condition under which we practice in Nigeria is the reason why many were left frustrated and they had to leave. The financial gain is just a side attraction in most cases. Sir, you wrote about dollar and Nigeria . Well, that’ll always remain an assumption because with the reality of Nigeria today, things can never get better unless we change these sets of corrupt mofos we have at the helm of affairs in naija. You need to see how the kleptomaniacs waste our money abroad. And if we are to consider doctors salary in Nigeria, compere to what we that practice abroad receive, the difference is too significant. With a very less work load, my 1 month salary will pay at least, 7 month salaries of my colleagues in government hospitals back home and maybe over 1 year salary for those in some private hospitals. What about taking blames for the problems caused by lack of medical equipment? Lack of adequate manpower? I was once beaten because there was no emergency pack in the emergency, for me to attend to an injured person following an accident. Do you know that most of the fatalities that we record in our hospitals are preventable? Many people die in our hospitals for minor reasons and some of us couldn’t just continue with it anymore. I opened my own hospital, the business could not thrive because I was milked dry by different agencies while I kept funding the hospital with the salary that I was receiving from my main job. I was at home earlier this month and I went emotional when I saw some patients condition in the hospital. It can NEVER happen here in Dubai. Make I drop mic abeg. |
Elcid1:I didn’t notice that. I Paid in dirham though. |
In summary. He doesn't like it, when people shuck eye into what he believes should be a family affair. |
Beauty85:Yes boss. you need to register on ncdc portal and you'll pay 50k for PCR test when you get to Nigeria. you can make further enquiry from those that traveled home recently because they keep changing their mode of payment. |
Elcid1:Ethiopian airline. I made the booking on travelstart. I don't have any information about Turkish airline. |
losky83:Your comment is bias and it is very unfortunate. so, because i studied, I should not seek a better life for my kids? I should fold my arms and leave my destiny in the hands of these sets of politian. |
Wow! Captain Hosa really lived a good life. He got it right from the outset. To become a pilot at 23 no be beans. He even retired @ 30. wow! |
"No go de do pass yourself....." |
He probably owns that company and trying to advertise his new hustle to people or he’s passing a message across to some folks. |
Fineman87:He’s right. They are recruitment agencies. They do go to countries like Nigeria, Egypt and india, to recruit healthcare professionals who’re willing to work in Saudi Arabia and some other countries here in the Middle East. All successful candidates will pay certain amount as agency fee. As per those doctors that are leaving, govt can’t stop them. I left about 4 years ago because I was left with no other choice. You really don’t want to know what some of us went through before we took that decision. It’s not all about the financial gains. Most of us were ready to stay back but the situation in Nigeria is becoming unbearable. It’s even getting worse now. As per getting subsidized training, everyone that studied in a govt-owned institution got that. We are grateful. |
shoskid:God bless you chief. TheZebra, someone is ready to offer your sister a better job. Youths that are hustling to do legitimate jobs should be highly encouraged. Many of them are currently engaged in cyberfraud and prostitution. |
Heleex:I guess I clearly mentioned it that you can land in any of the Emirates when you’re coming from Benin/Ghana. I haven’t seen anyone that came in directly from Nigeria but the Indian guys that came in under the same policy are placed on quarantine in government facilities. It’s free. I landed in Dubai and I left for Abu Dhabi same day. I’m currently observing the 7-day home quarantine, as applicable. ![]() All you need to cross the Abu Dhabi border is your EID and a valid negative pcr/dpi on your alhosn app. |
Elcid1:I saw it but I think its better to make your enquiries here. |
Heleex:I arrived 3 days ago. I went through Cotonou. The 14 days rule is still applicable as it has to reflect on your passport that you’ve been in the republic of Benin for over 14 days before you’ll be granted entry. You’ll be allowed to enter uae through any of the airports, irrespective of ur vaccine status. If you’ll be entering uae directly from Nigeria, I heard that you have to be a resident and you must have taken ur second dose of covid vaccine at least, 14 days prior to your travel date (unless your job falls under some categories of professions). Then, upon arrival, you will be quarantined in a government facility for about 10 days. Another thing to note is that you can only land in dubai airport from Nigeria/India/Uganda, if you’re a dubai resident. The Cotonou route is relatively expensive and one may have to pay agents at some point, just to expedite some processes. |
SirWellington:Have you seen that anyone that came in directly from Nigeria recently? I came in through Cotonou 2 days ago, after weighing my options. I reached out to wakanow and some of the airlines and none gave a clear cut answer. |
I don't know if I should jack up my rent from next year. |

We can’t live for ever. “Every soul shall taste death “. Similar fate awaits many of the mansions that we see today. |
