I want to know if attestation of doc is required to get a job in uae. Also if I require a PCC.

In terms of accomodations and job hunting, how do I go about them.

If you’ll be applying to job openings where your certificate will be needed(white collar jobs), it has to be attested. Blue collar jobs( helper, security, labour, cleaner etc) don’t require attested certificates.
PCC is not required, currently.
Accommodation- It depends. Some get it through their agents, some get it on Facebook, som book hotel and search around upon landing. There are many ways to go about it.
Job- Job sites( Dubizzle, indeed, naukrigulf, career pages of companies ) , walk-in interview, direct visitations, ,,,,agent(not so reliable).

Please I need your candid advice, my flight is scheduled to be on Saturday 31st of this month and my agent asked me to pay for accomodation before getting there but the amount he requested for is much for now because there is curfew so we ain't allowed to move around, what now baffled me is the exchange rate he said
He said one dirham is 130naira
Which wen I checked it is 103naira and I get an Aboki who do d biz so he asked me to pay 105 per dirham
My question is:-
Is it a must to pay upfront?
Can I get the accomodation so easy if I go there with my money?
Am moving to Sharjah pls help a fellow brother

Don’t send money to the so called agent. They’re not to be trusted, especially during this tough period.
130 naira to a dirrham is not fair but 105? It’s almost impossible at the moment. The rate you see online isn’t reliable, nobody will give you his dirham for that rate, including the aboki. I exchanged dirrham for naira yesterday and the best deal I had gave me a dirrham for 125 naira. Some do it for less but definitely not less than 120.
Getting acomodation should not be that difficult, there are many vacancies. Do as suggested here.

I am not aware if there are special arrangements for visitors but the general rule in this case is that you would do a DPI test. Use it to cross the Dubai/Abu Dhabi border within the 48hours validity period. Just search for the nearest center where you can do it in your Emirate. It costs 50 Dhs. If you are unable to do that, you would have to do another PCR test and cross the border within 48 hours.

Unless the person is not a Nigeria passport holder, work permit would be a great issue. At least, for now. As per the salary, 30k a month is sexy it depends on the person’s profession/ position offered. Good luck.

use 5w30 or 5w40 engine oil oil burn will reduce significantly .

GAZZUZ Sir, we noticed that my 2010 Highlander with 2.7L engine is shortening oil. I did the first service about 3 months ago using Mobil 5w 20 extended performance. That was the first service since purchase from Dubai. I drove it for about 2 months before this service and there was no shortage of oil all through.
No smoke, no strange sound.
I bought it and ran a scan on it before I shipped it to Nigeria myself, no issues.
Pls sir, what do you advice?

the last resident permit holder that flew into UAE ,are currently finding it difficulty to renew contract ,and UAE govt want more resident permit holders to enter ,,,,hmmm,,,I hope UAE govt are not trying to extort money from Nigeria ...if you kw who is a resident permit holder presently in 9ja beg make he or she just stay back o

Bro, this matter tie raper. There’s no official statement anywhere, confirming that Nigeria passport holders are restricted from getting fresh UAE work permit.
So, If someone goes out there to complain, the person may be seen as spreading misleading information. I’m sure you know the consequence, especially as residents.
As for our image, well it does pop up once in a while . No matter how I take package myself .
I sometimes take my time to educate whoever cares to listen sha, when I de good mood. There are bad eggs among every nationality.

I was particularly looking through where they will ask me to pay a fee, but they have not come out yet.

Looks like an organized scam but just tag along till they unwrap their format.

Not yet. One can not rely on what people say for now. A Nigerian just joined my company. So, our PRO should initiate his contract/visa processes soon. I would wait for the outcome.

I’m not ruling out the possibility of securing jobs in Dubai. You can still secure good jobs. I was only trying to let you know that the chances are less at this time due to obvious reason. More so, the jobseeker is even still in Nigeria, no visa yet.
Your guy in Dubai may/may not be telling you the truth especially if he’s the one you’ll be handing your money to, for visa processing. Besides, the fact that he’s not affected doesn’t mean that many people didn’t lose their jobs or asked to go on compulsory leave.
I wasn’t affected either but many people were.

I am not so current about happenings in the job market. However, I think it’s common sense, job opportunities have reduced significantly across board. If the person has the chance to come in, he can come and try his luck, which, for obvious reason, is very low.
I really don’t want to give comment on the visa issues, as it affects Nigerians who are fresh applicants. All I know is that Nigerians with expired resident visas are getting their visas renewed.

You see, many of you saying na nigeria send them come UAE...you are wrong. Consulate even abandon them is even wrong, you don't know the sun in uae. Then let them feed themselves till they make a nice deal to take them home....and also have them monitored because truly majority of them are bad eggs but you don't close your eyes because bad people are passing...you will not see the good ones.

Even the place I work, some of the locals (business owners) yesterday went to give them food...some police was even try to question them why they are giving them food till the locals put them in their place....you see and this is because our govt are not looking at them as humans...now others are doing same. Don't look at their crimes...they are many good men their who are victims of this pandemic...lost all...dubai is expensive. Let the govt come and help.

I prepared the BOQ of the said project. From my investigation so far, HSL BROKER, is not in any isolation center. He has absconded with my clients N3m and is using COVID19 to buy time.
We have told him to provide the location of the Isolation center to verify his claim. But he is yet to respond.
It's been a month now, stories upon stories.

This is very sad. I knew the covid19 story was a pure lie. As human, we're meant to be considerate and empathetic but not in this case of a cooked covid19 story. I've managed many covid19 patients and I've been in and out of quarantine myself.
I thank God that the guy that I referred to him was yet to initiate any transaction with him.

Sir, in as much as this can be true, the hslbroker guy didn't manage the situation properly. He wasnt sick when the money was being transferred into his account. Then, why didn't he return their money or directed them to where their materials were, if he had procured them?
I directed somebody to contact him via his WhatsApp number that was copied on his thread and he responded well, the guy would have probably contacted him to seal a deal with him, after this Eid holiday if not for this thing that pop up.
He has been persistently seeing the allegations against him here and some of his close associates here would have probably contacted him to ask him questions. He really shouldn't hinge his refusal to do the appropriate thing on those flimsy excuses.

I think he has lost his reputation here, if he had any ab initio and any attempt to salvage his already dent reputation should be discouraged. His next victim may be someone dearie to you Sir.
