Drove on uber yestday, thinking I was going to hit some cool bucks.

Mostly short trips. I was still hoping till lyk 7pm. I was @ Admiralty lekki phase 1.

So I set destination to Ikeja.

I start trip, I got a shocker of my life , " FESTAC"

Pls wats d correlation BTW festac n Ikeja.
The trip started 7.30 pm n ended lik 20mins to 10pm.

Festac inner roads looks like armored tanks took a vacation on them.

I don't know wat uber is thinking.

I was on quarter tank at V.I. before d trip, wen I got to festac, my tank was lredy on red.

I had to buy 2k fuel before I left festac around past 10pm. Penny wise pound foolish, the money I got was used to fuel again. I got home some mins to 12 midnite.

Lessons learnt:
1. Never trust a machine. The app railroad me to festac. I was confident in its ability to take me to Ikeja.

2. Always ask destination before going to pickup.esp from 7pm.

3. FESTAC has been added to the list of " no go zones ". Even if there is a surge of 45*.
I will never go to festac again.

Well, I meant in possessions, cash in my wallet should be about 10k, then other stuffs in my house including certificates, my phone and laptop: didn't think of taking a thing out coz it started from a neighbor's apartment and was trying to put it out before it spread to mine.

I simply started all over, and also with resources from collegues n other financial/non financial assistance

When it comes to talents, my major talent is oratory. I'm so good in this that it seems like my life wire. Whenever I make a speech, especially in the church, big pastors and anyone listening are usually dumbfounded.

Now in 2019, I became a pastor. But my wife doesn't want me to become a pastor. She doesn't want to be moving from one town to the other as pastors usually get transferred. She refused to move with me and I still allowed her to stay behind.

What my church did is that, after ordination, they told us to go to certain towns to look for suitable places and start churches there. They are to pay for everything needed. But once they paid for the church building, they neglected us and are always on our necks for progress reports. No salary is coming after months. My wife kept laughing at me. I'm still making money from other things which I'm using to sustain the family. So recently, people started trooping to the church en masse without my physical efforts. I told my wife of the new development. Since then, she has been moody. Last week she asked, "so, you're not going to resign whether they pay you or not?" I told her I'm not going to resign. Note that they are still going to sack me if they discover that my wife has not joined me already.

She has withdrawn her friendly face which I counted as a little support. If I get kicked out of this ministry thing, I don't think I can ever find joy in anything else. You may say I married a wrong woman. But she's a strong Christian, but of a different church and she hates my church's doctrines. Also, what I'm doing currently to support the family is a part time job that will soon elapse.

Don't say I should pray. I pray more than you can think of.

Taking this drastic decision has not been easy with me so far,but I will appreciate mature counsel only.

I got married to a lady and we have one issue(child),but she had a male child for her ex before I got married to her.However due to certain issues I discovered after our marriage and in our marriage I got offended and travelled out,and in the process I proposed to another lady who seems more appreciable to me and in the process of our relationship we had an issue as well.On returning from my travel I told my wife all that happened to make her aware.Right now with all I have been through with this other lady I feel very guilty abandoning her right now,but want to go into marrying her next week.Though I have made her know I had a family before,but want to start a new life with her in my new base,does the law prohibit this?
