segunjowo: Harry Kane is tipped to win except if England dropped off the tournament. Ronaldo may not win and it will be because he's selfish with the ball, looking to take all the glory. If Portugal and England compete to the same stage as the game progresses, Kane will beat CR7 to it. Have you been watching this world cup. Ronaldo is not selfish at all. He passed to Guedes (beautiful pass), he couldn't score. Against Spain, the same thing happened. Ronaldo passed and instead of him to finish at once, he decided to take too many touches before finishing and alas he missed. I tip Ronaldo to top this list and win it if Portugal can get to the last 8. |

Dear all, I'm not sure anyone has posted this link in the past. I was searching for official CAD/NGN exchange rate and found this link. Exchange rate may not be as high as most of us think. I guess they use CBN rate, although it's advisable to plan with a higher rate. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/inFORMation/fees/index.aspGodspeed to all Canada hopefuls |

You can contact Children's Practice, Ikoyi for your medicals. Submission of post-ITA profile? Anyway, you can do your medicals before getting an invitation to apply or after. It is advisable to wait till you get an invitation before you do it though. Thank you ma. I have ITA already. Apart from international passport, passport photo and money, is there any other document required for medicals. So children's practice can conduct medical exams Saturdays/Sundays? Thank you GS. |

I also explained that the programme is flexible in terms of time and that the pace is dictated by me.....Just general details about the institution. Is there any standard format for LOE. For medical examination, can it be done weekends. Can we go ahead as soon as ITA is received or after submission of post ITA profile. |

I also explained that the programme is flexible in terms of time and that the pace is dictated by me.....Just general details about the institution. OK. Great. I guess you had to submit a letter of explanation because you claimed points for it. In my case, I'm not claiming points for the master, but would claim points for the work (there is a 13 months overlap). Should I go ahead and submit a letter of explanation even if I'm not claiming points for the master degree. Thank you GS. I'm still trying to digest your post. I will refer to compilation of your posts as "EE bible" |

GlitteringStar: Yes, you can. Just try to include all necessary documents to prove your work experience. I've just read your application timeline and story, inspiring, great. Congrats once again. How did you explain the overlap, working full time and studying full time. I am in a similar situation, although I'm not claiming points for the master degree (I only filled it in my personal history). |

DonTee07: It makes sense to send ONLY your current passport, if there's need for old passport, it will be requested but its your call. For child, the birth certificate alone should be enough since the child has an American passport.
Address is immaterial in your wedding certificate. People get married in one address and change house after marriage.
Best of luck. Noted. Thank you |

So if we decide to use child's American passport, there wouldn't be any need to state/send the Nigerian passport, yeah?
Is there any benefit of using Nigerian passport over US passport?. |

Tojued: There's a separate placeholder for birth certificate. Noted, thank you. How important is the address on marriage certificate. On my marriage certificate is my family address which is a different state from where I was living at the time. Will this be a problem when filling address over the past 10 years on the post ITA form. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by DrOBD(m): 3:34pm On Jun 17, 2018 |
Tojued: 1. It's my understanding that Both passports can be added. No personal experience here so not too sure. 2. Only current passport visas and stramps are necessary. From experience though they've requested applicants to scan the old one (ADR). From experience too someone scanned both and application was rejected cos vo only saw expired passport docs. Your choice to make. Thanks. I think it makes sense to add both passports. I hope other people with similar experience would share their experience. For my child's birth certificate, should I scan it along with passport or as a separate document. How important is the address on marriage certificate. On my marriage certificate is my family address which is a different state from where I was living at the time. Dear all,
Thank you for all the great work you are doing here, helping newbies like us.
My question is on identification documents for children when filling the post ITA profile. Assuming the child is an American citizen and a Nigerian citizen, parents are Nigerians, and they live in Nigeria currently. Would it be necessary to input both Nigerian and American passport or just the American passport on the child's identification form. Child's birth certificate was obtained in the USA.
Secondly, is it necessary to scan all VISAs and stamps from previous passports.
Thanks. |

vcole: Hi. You may wanna PM me because mbbs discussion is always a long and windy one. Lol! This your response was why I dropped my email address earlier. I am a newbie here (on this thread), a complete novice. I just started thinking of Canada a few weeks ago. I have a great job here, I work with an international NGO and earn well. My wife is also a doctor and works with an NGO as well. My interest is in public health and would love to continue my public health career wherever I relocate to. I have two kids(B3y and G1y), both of them are American citizens (thanks to Nairaland) Sorry for the epistle, just wanted to introduce myself. I have the following concerns: 1. For IMGs, are there public health opportunities for IMGs without a Canadian masters. Did my postgraduate here in Naija. 2. Is it advisable to evaluate Both my postgraduate and undergraduate degree 3. Is there any advantage for IMGs with fellowship from their home country 4. What is the total cost like for IMGs from start to finish 5. Does the number of years post medical school count, does it matter. What are the chances of IMGs with over 7 years post graduation. 6. My wife (and maybe me) would love to take the qualifying exams. Is it advisable to take the exams from here or wait till after one relocates. 7. Heard Canada is trying to restructure the healthcare system to favor IMGs, do you have any information. 8. Which state do you consider the best for IMGs. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks. |
