Lets see.
Overall, PDP will win sha.

garfield1:

I think apc will win at least 2 or 3 LGas down south which is orhiomnwon and uhumnwonde and one of the ovia lgas.pdp can't win akoko edo, they will likely win owan west or nothing at all.apc might win all the lgas up north but I still see pdp winning overall

I think PDP will win at least 2 LGAs in the north, while APC will not win more than one LGA in the south. PDP will clear Edo central.

It depends on how much votes AOC will get in Etsako West.

Modified: PDP may win Akoko Edo and Owan (4 LGAs in the north).

TheGodlessGod:
pdp will win all edo central lga, apc will win all edo north lga.

pdp is currently winning ikpbo okha, oredo and egor in edo south, apc is winning orihiohwon, ovia northwest and south west, i havent heard anything about urhowonde.

My thoughts as well. Wildlife photographers don't kill Animals. If you do in the developed world, you'll be cooling off in jail.

A very nice picture, but this is not wildlife.

Nothing like that in Nigeria.

Kindly update us after you break the news to him.

Thanks for saving him.

I think I will. I even asked him if it was Ebola but he said it wasn't and mentioned West Nile virus. Me I don't know if West Nile virus occured in Nigeria earlier this year so I just kept mute and decided to find out.

The guy is so much in love and part of me feels that this will break his heart and lead him to do something drastic. It's so troubling to me and a part of me just wants to waka far and act like it's not my business but another part is burning with anger at the scammers

You can speak with your supervisor about how you feel. You may want to clarify if its ethically correct for you to discuss this with your patient.
Remember, this could eventually affect the mental health of your patience, therefore the principle of beneficence may be considered here.
Just do something, anything to save that young man.

ALEX182:
So I have this American patient who I recently came across. He's a fat dude who is like in his late 40s but has a very jolly and likeable character. I introduced myself and we got talking afterwards.

After a while of chitchat, he asked me where I was from. I told him to take a guess and he said said, you sound like you're Nigerian. I told him (regrettably) that I was Nigerian. He started smiling and told me that he had a Nigerian girlfriend and that we both had similar accents.

He then started telling me recent occurrences that had befallen his girlfriend in Nigeria. He said the lastest story was that she was in Abuja and as she was on her way to the airport in a taxi, the taxi had an accident and she was seriously injured and had to be rushed to the hospital. He said that the hospital demanded money before treatment started and he had to hustle about $4000 and send to her in order for treatment to start.

He said that after a week of her being in the hospital, they wanted to discharge her despite her still being in pain. Because she had exhausted all the $4000 on treatment, he said the hospital had threatened to discharge her on the streets and he was trying to borrow more money to see if he could send it to her so they could continue with her treatments.

He furthermore told me that the girlfriend said that she was a Nigerian American citizen who was currently stuck in Nigeria due to her passport having expired and also due to Covid lockdown at airports in Nigeria. He said she had asked him for $300 to renew her US passport from American embassy in Nigeria.

Another thing that he told me was that just before covid struck, there was a similar pandemic which happened in Nigeria early this year and that his girlfriend had contracted the disease and he had to send her $2000 for treatment. Right now he said he's broke but is waiting for like $2000 disability check from the US government next week which he will send to her as soon as the money clears.

As he was telling me this tale, I was so angry with Nigerians and how they take advantage of people in love to scam them. I wanted to swear for the scammers angry

I'm at a dilemma here. Do I tell him that he's being scammed by Nigerians or do I continue to be professional and just ignore it. Because I don't want him to think I'm involved with it because these oyinbo people can turn everything on your head and accuse you that is your people in conjunction with you that are scamming him. They are that crazy.

The good part of me wants to help him but I'm hesitant that it may turn out bad for me. Please matured responses.
Investment / Re: MBA Investors Forum by DrOBD(m): 10:28pm On Aug 04, 2020
Thank you sir/ma. You've been very helpful.

airsaylongcom:

The choice to invest via a branch or online is yours to make. If you invest via a branch, you have a physical office to walk in to in the event of complaints or issue. For online complaints you will call the customer care line or send an email.to the support team.

For branch accounts you can open account with any branch without walking in to that branch. Get a contact from your desired branch and have them email the form to you. Fill, scan and email the form back and your account will be open within days.

Accounts opened via branch cannot be managed online yet. That's work in progress though.

It's actually more "DANGEROUS" giving me your account number than your BVN. So I don't get it why Nigerians "hoard" their BVN. For now it is optional but it is eventually going to be compulsory at some point.
Investment / Re: MBA Investors Forum by DrOBD(m): 1:02am On Aug 04, 2020
Another question I have:

Assuming I decide to do paper based application. Can I link it to my already existing/verified account, so I can monitor my investment online.

airsaylongcom:

Similar process as my initial message you quoted. However the transfer to MBA account MUST BE from the child's account. So move funds from your account to the child's account and th3n from th3 child's account to MBA's account.

Also regulatory ID for the child can be NPC birth certificate if the child doesn't have International Passport or NIMC. But NOT those certificates issued by churches or hospitals. It has to be NPC issued
Investment / Re: MBA Investors Forum by DrOBD(m): 12:22am On Aug 04, 2020
Is it advisable to open an account online or walk to one of your branches.
I have already opened and in the process of verifying my identification.

Kindly let me know if its better to go to the office, invest through your online platform or fill the form and send to one of your agents.

Plus your new form has space for filling BVN. Is ut compulsory to include my BVN number?

There are lots of succesful couples out there with huge age difference; female being older.

Age ain't nothing but a number, but when you grow old as a man, you will understand the advantage of marrying a younger woman.
When you become weak and frail and your wife is also weak and frail because she is older than you...how do you cope if you don't have money to hire a nanny or your kids are gone?

So basically you are advising men to marry a nanny and not for love or companionship. When the man dies, what happens to the young lady?

The fact remains the he was dethroned

When you "dethrone" a king, another must take over. However a king can be exiled without dethroning that king. No man born of a woman can "dethrone" the oba of Benin. The natural heir to the throne is the king's first son, and the position is not contested like it's done in other parts of the country.

All Obas and Emirs are answerable to common local government
Let us learn further from history.
Ovonramwen Nogbaisi of Benin was dethroned in 1897
Also Sultan of Sokoto Ibrahim Dasuki in 1996
And finally Almighty alafin Adeyemi was also dethroned in 1955.

Please don't say what you don't know. The one was not dethroned. Read the story again. His first son (Eweka II) took over from him . He was exiled to Calabar due to British invasion of Benin, not dethroned by any Government. What is happening now to the Northern Emirs is different.

I like where you are coming from, but kindly note that traditional rulers can be removed by the sitting governors of their states. And as a matter of fact, when Lucky Igbinedion held office c.2005 he too nearly removed the Oba of Benin from office, due to ruckus between the Oba and Nosakhare Igbinedion. The difference was the people of Bini kingdom fought against it and the Benin traditional stool being held in such high regard he had no choice but to back down.

The issue between Gabriel Igninedion and the then Oba dated back several years before Lucky became Governor. If it was that easy, Lucky would have had his way with the influence the Igninedions had back then and the recklessness of the then PDP government. You can't just dethrone the Oba of Benin and replace him with one ransome dude. It's not possible.

Rubbish. There is no untouchable king in Nigeria right now. Governors are actually the real Kings as far as states are concerned. Alaafin, Sultan and Oba of Benin have all been dethroned by government in the past without any problem. No king is bigger than the state governor. They all serve at the mercy of the state government.

Pardon my ignorance. Which Nigerian Givernor since 1960 have tried to dethrone the Oba of Benin. Only the first son of the King can become an Oba, so who did they replace the Oba with. Please clarify.
