PoliticsRe: Fuel Price Hike: “let The Traffic Breathe,” Lagos Residents (video) by DrObum(m): 8:43pm On Jul 20, 2023
FreeStuffsNG:
Not all Igbo hate the Yoruba and Yorubaland. I am sure of this fact 101%! My only issue with those minority of Igbo is that they don't speak up because they are scared. It is their silence that gave room to those ignorant of their positive vibes to dominate the narrative. I know many of my Igbo friends, especially the childhood friends, who will rather converse with me in Yoruba language than in English language. In fact, my Igbo friends overseas do it even more so that foreigners around them don't hear our conversations.

These minority of Igbo with excellent relationships and experience with their Yoruba need to speak up more and showcase how they have been blessed by their love for Yorubaland so the hate-filled Igbo can realise how they are hurting themselves and the Igbo tribe's reputation and relationship with the Yoruba.

Those Igbo who love the Yoruba and Yorubaland will always live in peace in Yorubaland, respect the Yoruba culture of respect for elders and leaders, pray for peace and prosperity of their hosts and Yorubaland will in turn bless them. They are the ones who are already Yoruba even by adoption. They will not go into politics of lies, hate and bigotry against the dominant political interests of the Yoruba not because they don't have a right to do so but because they cherish the Yoruba and want to make peace. They are not cowards but exposed, emotionally intelligent and wise people.

Meanwhike, this is the best time to invest in Lagos and the neighbouring SW states. Invest in Lagos today.

Do they need the mandatory NIN like adults or can theirs be done without it as minors?

If I have the opportunity of having this amount, I will first buy a land and build a room and parlor self-contained then the remaining amount will be invested into my passion business.
You'll buy land and build a one room apartment with 4 million Naira?

You don't know what's going on!

Not every black Nigerian person 'came' to the UK. Some of us are born and raised in this land. My parents were paying Uk taxes long before I was born here in London. I am now also paying my own share....na you get bad belle..lol

Anyway the reason why I contributed to this thread was just to help genuine students and Nigerian immigrants answer questions about life in the UK not those who want to play ojoro to fleece the system.
How did your parents arrive here?

In your mind, you're the privileged few but forgot that not too long ago, your parents did the same.

Tomorrow, the offspring of today's students won't allow others rest.
Well, if you like be born in No. 10 Downing Street, when shit hits the fan, you're a black man and would receive the same discrimination with your passport.
Rest my dear

Oh can you tell us your story on how you got here and start paying tax, let me guess you also came as a student . Bad belle
Ignore that fellow.

I don't know why some Nigerians are pained that other Nigerians are labouring to establish themselves.
As long as you're not into crime, I'm proud of all Nigerians using all legal means to secure a better future.

Some of these guys shouting have been here for long, agreed. However, if you check their history, they also came as students or their parents also came in similar fashion. Now, they are the moral guardians of who should come or not.

One silly one the other day was pained that going to the UK isn't a thing for the elites as it used to seem some years back. Now, any one can plan and land here.
You can imagine how some humans reason.

FamilyRe: Is It Advisable To Marry A Man Earning 100k In This Present Economy. Ur Sincere by DrObum(m): 3:09pm On Aug 24, 2022
Jennyclay:
No, I can't marry someone who earns 100k per month. Why must you enter a marriage to suffer? Can 100k afford you a good house, buy your hair and makeups? Have you even thought of raising children who should be fed, clothed and sent to good schools? Can 100k work these things out? No!

Reject that poor man and his meagre 100k; a better man will locate you. All you have to do is believe and wait for the right man to come.
Why wait for a better man in terms of earning higher? Do those things yourself.

I advise the better men to go for women earning like them and not marry down to someone that is waiting to be upgraded.

These people should not be allowed to have power cos they can’t handle it,I just can’t imagine killing a fellow human being cos of oduduwa republic

Imagine how their fellow igbos are hailing them, do u think these same people will blink an eye if u are killed?
Do u think these igbos hailing him for killing a fellow Igbo will blink an eye if it were to b u who isn’t an Igbo?

The question you need to ask yourself are -:

- Is it worth leaving my comfort zone, for an unknown
- is this a sensible gamble
- If things go soar, would I be happy to start afresh
- Are the factors forcing me out, not manageable

Lastly, nobody can advice you to relocate, it's ultimately your individualistic decision..........

Fortune favours the bold..... Fortune favours the brave ......... Fortune favours the strong......

Are you BOLD, BRAVE & STRONG enough.......... cheesy
Our people say, that we stand in the compound of a coward's house and point to the ruins of a warrior's house.

Nope, there should be a second center in V.I, a private travel clinic set up, but it is usually just as busy as IOM.
I think that IOM sends people there when they overflow.

I'm not sure you can just walk in there and use it for UK visa purposes

Please can someone share the email format for securing an appointment with IOM Ikeja? I've sent and sent and sent emails. I am tired.
Do what Viruses suggested above esp that email part. Send the email with your passport number and details and not just long stories in it.

Alternatively, use VPN and comb their booking portal, you'll see a date.
Cheers.

Why would I send you my info? If you have a better way to get appointments why not say it here instead of posturing? We love to criticize, rather than proffer solutions.

I don't know why you think I enjoyed spending that money because it's painting me till tomorrow. I searched high and low and the consensus was for me to pay or delay my process.

Again, if you have better info kindly drop here
You'll need to send details because their appointment requires passport details, demographic information and email address that they'll mail the appointment to.

If you probably did the right thing, you'll know these.

Even when sending IOM mails to help get an appointment, you'll send these details before they answer you. If not, they'll ignore the mails.

please book Ikeja IOM online and send proof. I will send you 100k
Send your details, passport number and email for the booking.

Send the money to a board man (someone reliable, preferably from this thread), nominate your favourite charity that would receive it when I do the booking. The charity would receive twice the amount if I don't get a booking.

Cheers

I paid 70k today for a close Ikeja biometrics date. Plus the 50k I paid earlier for IOM TB cert. This country has fully gone to shite. The last time alongetayo and I complained about this our comments were removed. Why? You people don't want the world to know what you're doing?
You went to pay and you're complaining about the country.
You may want to look at the mirror again.

The process is clear enough. Just do your booking online but nope, we must make a mess of it and then complain thereafter.
PoliticsRe: Gov Soludo Receives Ned Okonkwo, E-money, Kcee And Cubana by DrObum(m): 12:44pm On Jun 30, 2022
KosiGee:
Who designed Soludo’s shirt? Who was the tailor that made that shirt? Soludo is a well read man but his dress sense is a disaster. I applaud him though for patronising local materials but the tailors and fabric makers need to up their game.

Those patterns of owl/eagle lying horizontal must been made by an obioma or dua dua tailor. Those group of ‘emergency’ tailors can ruin fabrics/cloths.

With the way some Nigerians think and our silly perceptions and superstitions about owls, if Soludo was a shop owner at Onitsha main market, he’d be tagged Eze Ikwiikwii (King of Owl)….his success would be attributed to some dark forces…

What am I even saying…..Those owls should be vertical not horizontal….that’s an awkward position for owls…maybe the tailor wanted to portray Soludo as a man with great vision as per ikwiikwii super and legendary eyesight.
No go find work do.

Nothing wrong with his attire.
