The question you need to ask yourself are -:

- Is it worth leaving my comfort zone, for an unknown
- is this a sensible gamble
- If things go soar, would I be happy to start afresh
- Are the factors forcing me out, not manageable

Lastly, nobody can advice you to relocate, it's ultimately your individualistic decision..........

Fortune favours the bold..... Fortune favours the brave ......... Fortune favours the strong......

Are you BOLD, BRAVE & STRONG enough.......... cheesy

Our people say, that we stand in the compound of a coward's house and point to the ruins of a warrior's house.

That Bold, Brave and Strong, make the Oga think am well oooo. @Legendoo

Nope, there should be a second center in V.I, a private travel clinic set up, but it is usually just as busy as IOM.
I think that IOM sends people there when they overflow.

I'm not sure you can just walk in there and use it for UK visa purposes

Please can someone share the email format for securing an appointment with IOM Ikeja? I've sent and sent and sent emails. I am tired.
Do what Viruses suggested above esp that email part. Send the email with your passport number and details and not just long stories in it.

Alternatively, use VPN and comb their booking portal, you'll see a date.
Cheers.

Why would I send you my info? If you have a better way to get appointments why not say it here instead of posturing? We love to criticize, rather than proffer solutions.

I don't know why you think I enjoyed spending that money because it's painting me till tomorrow. I searched high and low and the consensus was for me to pay or delay my process.

Again, if you have better info kindly drop here
You'll need to send details because their appointment requires passport details, demographic information and email address that they'll mail the appointment to.

If you probably did the right thing, you'll know these.

Even when sending IOM mails to help get an appointment, you'll send these details before they answer you. If not, they'll ignore the mails.

please book Ikeja IOM online and send proof. I will send you 100k
Send your details, passport number and email for the booking.

Send the money to a board man (someone reliable, preferably from this thread), nominate your favourite charity that would receive it when I do the booking. The charity would receive twice the amount if I don't get a booking.

Cheers

I paid 70k today for a close Ikeja biometrics date. Plus the 50k I paid earlier for IOM TB cert. This country has fully gone to shite. The last time alongetayo and I complained about this our comments were removed. Why? You people don't want the world to know what you're doing?
You went to pay and you're complaining about the country.
You may want to look at the mirror again.

The process is clear enough. Just do your booking online but nope, we must make a mess of it and then complain thereafter.

Who designed Soludo’s shirt? Who was the tailor that made that shirt? Soludo is a well read man but his dress sense is a disaster. I applaud him though for patronising local materials but the tailors and fabric makers need to up their game.

Those patterns of owl/eagle lying horizontal must been made by an obioma or dua dua tailor. Those group of ‘emergency’ tailors can ruin fabrics/cloths.

With the way some Nigerians think and our silly perceptions and superstitions about owls, if Soludo was a shop owner at Onitsha main market, he’d be tagged Eze Ikwiikwii (King of Owl)….his success would be attributed to some dark forces…

What am I even saying…..Those owls should be vertical not horizontal….that’s an awkward position for owls…maybe the tailor wanted to portray Soludo as a man with great vision as per ikwiikwii super and legendary eyesight.

No go find work do.

Nothing wrong with his attire.

Yet some idiots are still trying to foist these cognitively impaired men on us as leaders.

I can understand the thieves that hang around these elderly men and take advantage of them when they are cognitively impaired.

What I don't understand is the average Nigerian routing for these sick elderly men.

You gain nothing from them. The suffering in the country affects you first but you'll be all over the place shouting and killing yourselves for these thieves.

Imagine a cognitively impaired president and CJN since 2015 and you expected Nigeria to have made progress?

Morning all.

My landlord is behaving like an igbo man though pakistani.
It's been 3wks since we moved into this 3bed rm @750pcm minus bills.
The landlord aquirred the property barely 1month before letting out. .
Initially he didn't want to deal directly with us so he handed the key to the property to one 9ja man who gave us the place and stood for us due to credit check ish.
During our 3wks of stay it's been from one fault finding to another. It was obvious that the Paki rented the house as soon as he bought it.
We always call the 9ja man to complain but at a point I felt I was giving the man stress and the moment I got the phone contact of the landlord it's been a case of direct calls to him.
One of the instances I called to report boiler issue he was acting reluctant not responding to calls.
My wife and I walked straight to his door (he lives 4 houses away from ours) and told him some friendly words in 9ja tone. I further mentioned to him that I work at the council and can report him to housing dept if he continues with these stunt.
Omo, paki has been up and doing since then o.
Bought new boiler and installed.
Due to the installation, the heater in the palour was disconnected coz it's old and cannot function with the settings of the new boiler. Plus the radiator in one of the rooms leaks water.
It's been 1wk since he installed the boiler.
By next week I will start fresh heat on him..
.

So, which part of your story shows him behaving like an Igbo man?
Or you carried stereotypes into Youukay?

Hello,

Please, I need directions on buying a car (a used one)? I don't have much knowledge about cars. I'm currently preparing for the theory tests.
I've been checking out some on Facebook marketplace, gumtree and Autotrader. Is it safe to buy from there or are there garages?

Budget is around £1000. Thanks
Please don't misunderstand me as I'm also interested in the answer to this question.

Are there really reliable 1k cars?
Or is it the type that I'll use new car money to repair over the coming months/years?

As before, they will lose badly. That man will perform remarkably after which power will go to the north after a full republic has been established. The ibos will lose out badly because of emotional politics and internal hatred.

Do British people (proper oyinbo), pay bride price ......... cheesy
So, if 'proper oyinbo' does it, then it makes sense and if they don't, it doesn't?

Proper oyinbo indeed, people that give birth to children from multiple men but don't marry any.

Our dowry and traditional marriage system is still top notch. It served the need of that time and still serving the needs of the present time.

Humans would always find a way to go around every system and so with a little tweaking, our traditional marriage system would still beat any that the 'proper oyinbo' can bring.

Good day house pls i need advice, i am in uk on a spouse visa, i have been having challengies on surgery taking time for some medical appointments, e.g for one to get appointment it takes time and even for having medical test it still takes time for test results to come out.is this how the system works?? Not happy here.

secondly, i want to undergo a major surgery here, i want to ask if it is possible for me to have a surgery without paying since i have paid for ihs during my visa application. I want to confirm
will it take a long time to give me appointment for surgery? kindly advice. Thank you

Except you've an emergency, I'm afraid the NHS is frustrating with long waiting lists.

I don't think you'll need to pay for the surgery as you've paid your IHS but don't think there's much you can do about the waiting time. I know people that have had to go to other countries or even back home to have elective procedures than wait months or even years here.

All the best.

Just look at the comments of people in page 1.
Some of them I'm sure aren't sure if what to eat but they're justifying the craze.

First I never said there are no racist or that racism is not a word. Concluding someone is racist just because of the way they have treated you is equally wrong. Some people just dislike for no reason. We see Asians to be racist or accuse almost all of them to racist, visit part of Asia and you will see its lack of exposure and education that is affecting some of them. Some of the issues we call racism in this present day are just being with bad attitude. Analyze some of the accused racist cases, and you can tell it’s just envy, jealousy, and it’s related words. Forget about what people said, go out and mix with people, listen to them. Some people don’t even believe that there are people with dark skin. Some are amazed to see you that it scares them. This are things you know by experience. I have been to Asia, and in one of the visit to a village, people were looking at me like I fell from the sky, some didn’t want you to come close to them. They are not exposed and are not use to people of that skin. Some treat you in a very funny way. But because I understand their own situation, i was able manage some of the situation.

The problem is some of us thinks the most of whites (Europeans n Americans), so when they show us their unexposed nature or lack of knowledge about things, we turn to the word racism. Like I said, some of the present day experiences are just people who don’t know anything and they behave from a lack of knowledge perspective. What I am saying is not what is expected to be said today, cos we all think we have to support anyone when they call people racist. Try to see things from other perspective. At least for yourself.

Are they racist? Yes, they are.
Why are they racist? It's is because they have not been exposed.
So, dealing with their ignorance can in that situation solve the problem.

You cannot solve a problem by denying it just because you can understand the rationale for the primary behavior.

Lol. When people are told to think from a different perspective, the next words are “copy”, “bubble”, “reality”. Like I said, most of the things we experience are peoples lack of exposure. Talk to them and you will see it’s an exposure issue. They are not exposed.
If your rationale holds water, then we shouldn't hold anybody responsible for their actions.

Some people are on the streets and have lived rough lives cos of their exposure. That doesn't stop the law and other people holding them accountable for their misdemeanor which they do here and there to survive.

She's right.
You've built a bubble to protect yourself or your ego (psychologically speaking) and that's good that you've found a way to cope. However, if you sit and break down what you posted, it's just a beautiful way of recommending suffering and smiling.
