What's wrong with these judges?

Sentence that boy and his mother to 8 years in jail with hard labor and a fine of 100 million each.

Sentence this girlfriend to 5 years in jail with a fine of 40 million.

Judges should give a harder sentence to discourage these thieves.

Please I have an appointment with IOM for 9th July, I have the printed confirmation.

But out of curiosity, I checked my profile recently and discovered that the appointment wasn't there like it was a few weeks back.

I hope this wouldn't be a problem as I have to travel to Lagos to attend that appointment.

Please anyone with similar issues before?

Yes, I got mine yesterday without even going there. You wait to collect it in about 2-3 hours. I'll advise you go there early if you don't want to be delayed.
Thank you for your response.

You will be surprised that Armed Robbers from Nigeria would have gotten UK visas during the non appearance visa scheme. I went to a music show by a visiting Nigerian musician in London in 2009 and I can bet that some of the people I saw attending that show are hardened criminals from Nigeria and being the reflective person that I am, I started praying to God that may none of my kids end up marrying any of those guys kids in future.
Sir, you seem to stereotype people a lot. Well done

On this, we can all agree Twitter fvked up... You don't have to like or hate Buhari to know they fvked up BIG TIME... You don't mess with a sitting president.... with 2 years to election... and except no consequences...

They just lost over 3million active subscribers... It will affect their stocks eventually cos it will affect their ads market in Africa...

Wake up man. They just gained more followers from the controversy.

Buhari is too small for Twitter. They handled Trump and you think one grandiose ruler is an exception.

The media is making the matter worst......

Just read the content and observe the clear disparity with the headline

2years is not too far again,

Its actually a year, because 2022, 2nd quarter will be pre-occupied by campaign activities that Nigerians will now face the possible in coming president.

Buhari has done his best though he came in almost at the worst period in Nigeria situation, a condition that could have been easily solved if there was saving by the previous govt, same situation that save Nigerians during the 2008 global economic meltdown, Yar'adua only went into the high reserve OBJ left for him and brought out money to cushion the suffering that was about to befall Nigerians then......

Reverse became the case with GEJ as he instead of saving, depleted the ones left for him.........

Never again shall we have Clueless and current a Nepotism promoting leader in Nigeria

But has balance political appointments ever favoured the poor masses?
You're out of your wits Sir.

What you alluded to is pure rubbish. It's crazy for a Nigerian who lives in Nigeria to still have such deluded thoughts.

You all supporting this inefficiency in power keep surprising what's left of reasonable Nigerians.

Just admit that this man is a mess, even if you're in a position to benefit from his administration, a little truth wouldn't kill you Sir.

Kobojunkie:
And what has cultural grooming to do what is obviously a personal choice to be made by individuals who are open to such conditions where marriage is concerned? undecided

A woman who was, for instance groomed to see herself as property of a man, cannot break free of such a delusion, instead choosing the path of polyandry,is that what you are implying here by your statement regards cultural grooming? undecided
Cultural grooming affects what we conceptualize as personal choices.

In most cultures, a man has been groomed and primed to be in charge, provide and protect, when you start seeing the opposite to the extent of seven of them laying comfortably under a woman to be provided for, it's a pointer to dig deeper for deeper problems.

Also, because most cultures groomed the woman to see herself as a prize to be won, a jewel to be provided for, some willingly accept that position even in the presence of co-wives as their presence do not threaten what the cultural notion of herself is.

This doesn't qualify for a delusion and isn't an endorsement for patriarchy but I'm only trying to explain why I made the point I opined earlier.

You men the same applies in polygamous circumstances as well? undecided
In some cases, yes.

However, the cultural grooming of males and females makes the dynamics of polygamy a bit different.
Family / Re: Woman With 7 Husbands Reveals How She Satisfies All Their Needs (Video) by DrObum(m): 9:40pm On May 25, 2021
This woman is most likely a traditional healer and the seven men are clients with some mental illness whom she dominated and groomed into marrying her and probably she's providing for them.

Since these men are now burden off their families, everyone is happy.

Faithful007:
What you wrote up there shows that both you and the reporter have little knowledge of the situation of things. First of all, the US is still interested in Nigeria and still sees it as a major partner. However, Nigeria's stubborness, laziness and lack of respect for human rights makes her very very difficult to work with. It's more like a distant partner. President Biden takes human rights issues very seriously and the end SARS protests did not sit well with him. Remember he tweeted about him.

The secretary of state is the third highest ranked executive official and represents the foreign interests and policies of the US. He meets with Boris, Putin, e.t.c. Nothing strange about his meeting with buhari. By the way, if you've noticed, Biden isn't like Trump who loves to appear all the time on TV like some reality show star.

And even if Buhari was Biden's best friend, he still wouldn't send soldiers to fight for him in Nigeria. Nobody puts his soldiers again on the line for another country just like that.

Lastly, if you think the Nigerian government supports terrorism, you're very wrong.

Well, you're wrong as the Nigerian govt are massive sponsors of terrorism and banditry.

You think if the government wants to end terrorism and banditry, they can't?

We've spent an unaudited N10 trillion on security since 2015, pray tell me what Nigeria has earned and spent on human capital development in the same time line.

Mrskillz1, there's nothing spiritual about your ordeal.

You mentioned you had a mother with a mental illness, it's likely that the gene that coded for the illness is strongly expressed in your siblings. That explains why they are breaking down, please take them to a good psychiatric hospital for treatment.

If you delay treatment, it worsens the outcome, that's why some may not be able to achieve their potentials.

In addition, please also note that you're at risk of having the illness too. So, protect your mental health.
Psychoactive substances shouldn't be for you. Also abstain from prolonged fasting and sleep deprivation. These things would make you break down faster, funnily many religious homes would quickly prescribe them to you in your search for solutions.

Cheers
