@topic, I can totally relate to this but my experience was just too explicit and far reaching for me to splurge on this thread. Sometimes,I wish I could go back and change the past but I was like 4-5 years old and didnt know any better. My experience led to a lot of other nasty shit that came up as a result of these incidents. These ladies should be arrested and registered as sex-offenders .It's abuse period!

The crime rate in Lagos is extremely high. On my way to work this morning, a man was being robbed of his JEEP and all we could do was watch. Armed robbers were at my home and ended up killing an innocent young boy. Two weeks before, the man standing next to me at the bus stop was held at gun-point and his laptop taken. What is a MEGA-city if it is over-run with crime?

Within the past year I've lost numerous handsets, Laptops and my car was even stolen at gunpoint. Something needs to be done urgently in LAGOS. Fashola needs to act fast. Lagos is hot now. I think they should allow individuals like me to carry guns in order to protect ourselves.

I may not be totally right about the MTN entry level. Considering that their call center staff there are mostly contract. However, there are Level 1 staff in other areas of the company asides from the call center (NMC for one). Ask your MTN staff friends (I hope they're not contract call center agents).
Recall I mentioned in my post that there are some exceptions.
However, I am dead-on as per the ranges for any of the four companies.

Your comment about etisalat and Zain are laughable. You guys are outsiders reading newspapers, definitely not insiders.
For instance, Zain has not done any mass sacking or even outsourcing. Nobody has been laid off en masse, despite the various threats and proposals. Only the HR Director, Procurement Director, and 3 CxOs were laid off. Procurement Director has since joined etisalat.
If you're talking layoffs, know for a fact that more than 250 staff have left Zain for various reasons since 2007. Nobody was laid off en masse.
The proposal is under serious dispute by the board of the company, considering that ITS, the Lebanese company who the IT is planned to be outsourced to, belongs to the Group CEO of Zain, Dr Saad Al-Barak.

Who told you etisalat has money to throw around? Ask your friends in etisalat how much they're earning, if you have any friends there.
They pay well, but the pay is not more than the industry average. Take a very good look at the salary bands I defined before you start posting refutals.

This kind of attitude could only come from a poor and uncultured girl. The guy probably married because he thought he was in love and that with his money he could save this girl. This is obviously a street girl and no lady at all.

If this guy had married according to class and temperment all this could have been averted. We all make mistakes in the name of love but when a monumental mistake is made due to neglect of foundational principles, it could be difficult to blame anyone other than yourself.

I would have advised him to stay on in the marriage but for the fact that his life may not be worth living if he stays on.
