I am providing this update in case it may be useful to anyone. I am sharing a just completed WES evaluation for a School of Nursing with WES and the outcome is a Canadian equivalence of = Three years of Hospital study and training which I believe is equal to a bachelor’s degree as explained on IRCC site below: "Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute" https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html what WES requested are: 1. Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Certificate of Registration and confirmation of enrollment status. (This was requested on NMCN website, you will pay a fee for this to be sent to WES electronically) 2. Academic Transcript from the School of Nursing and Nursing Registration Certificate. Please note that it may be time-consuming as it depends majorly on the response time from your school / NMCN. but in this case, NMCN was fast.

If you strongly believe that sending them a web form will work, you can send it. but from their website, the processing time is 24 weeks and your application is still within this time. Princessmay11:

Two things are possible : 1. after his medicals for the SOWP, I will expect that the SOWP process is almost complete. if there is no urgent need to travel, he can wait to complete it before leaving Nigeria. 2. after his medicals, he can travel to Canada. once they request his passport in Canada, he can send them an email that he is currently in Canada on a visitor visa and that they should advise him of where he can send his passport in Canada. if there are other options, IRCC will let him know. N.B= I once submitted my passport to a CIC office in Canada while other members of my family were still in Nigeria and they sent theirs to Ghana. Teekay20: |
Dear Seniors in the House. I have a family member I want to guide on the prospects of work in Canada. • She has the 3 years nursing program from Baptist Medical Center, Saki • Has the Registered Nurse registration from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. She will be coming to Alberta (Canada) soon and may not be able to go into the nursing profession straight away. I did some research about the Health Care Aide profession, and I want to see advice from anyone that has done this before. I am also open to any suggestion on an alternative career/pathway she can follow so she can work in Canada (and later follow her nursing passion when she is settled). |

my thought..... if she has obtained her international passport before she got married , which means that the passport will only be in her maiden name , then there shouldn't be any issue at all. if you make any application in the future using her passport , and you can prove that the marriage was at a latter date . I think it is fine. aobiya: |
I currently reside in Canada and i did mine from here. I went to the police station in Regina and they requested for two IDs to confirm my identity . they gave me their form to fill my details and my thumb prints were taken on another form , which was signed by the officer that did it . This was scanned and sent to Alagbon Ekinado: |
Someone just said "America's worst nightmare was 9/11, now it's 11/9." To what extent do you agree that the tables have turned? |

opia12345:My view is that , you have a BSc and you are applying for a PGD. why not a Masters Program. With a PGD , the VO may feel you are not a genuine student but you just got the admission to get out of our dear country Nigeria. |

The response from Dino is a way to trivialize the fight against corruption and the call for wise spending not only by OBJ but by all Nigerians. Dino shouldn’t use his grievances with OBJ to discredit the call for wise utilization of the nation’s resources. Every Nigerian who is a manager at one level or the other understands that at this stage, wasteful spending, unnecessary overhead cost and all form of duplication (cars, jeeps inclusive) should be avoided and that all hands must be on deck to fight corruption. President Buhari also commented on the need to be prudent and the issue of car purchases by NASS involving huge cost during his Presidential Chat. Whether OBJ introduced corruption or not is not the issue currently, the issue now is that we must fight corruption and avoid wasteful spending. Dino once said “ Jonathan is the promoter of corruption. I am telling you that the Government of Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is the most corrupt in Nigerian history “ (https://www.naij.com/439845-jonathans-administration-is-the-most-corrupt-dino-melaye.html). But now he is taking it personal when he receives same from another person. Since he supported the anti-corruption crusade of President Buhari, any other call made from any Nigerian should not been seen as an attack on the personality of anybody. |
ifymagik:IFYmagic.....Run for your dear life . what this means is that she will still threaten you in future to go to another man if you can satisfy her desire. its possible that she is into sex more than you know. |

Olamide action at the award ceremony has received wide condemnation. The former president is also not left out in condemning the act. But truly, this guy should take this easy and not be pompous because of the money he has made.
