Politics / Re: Northern Governors Hire British Firm To Prospect For Oil by Drsheddy(m): 4:40pm On Aug 15, 2016
#‎ NOTE‬: No individual, community or state around the globe, owns the oil found in its region, village or backyard. It is a national asset in every country in the world. From Asia to Europe, North and South America, Australia and Africa. If any individual or state in this world can owns the oil found in his/her country, the SEVEN SISTERS would have own the oil found in each of their respective countries. It is a National Asset. But you can be a player in the oil main stream or down stream industry but not own it. Nothings stops you from being a player. If you doubt me, mention the name of any individual, community, town or state in any country that controls her oil. Nigeria is not different.
If it is because of the crude oil you are crying for true Federalism and Restructuring then you are on a long thing. Nigeria was already structured and restructured. Nigeria was structured when we gained our independence. It was restructured when when we moved our system of governance from regional to state. And it was again restructured when Local Government was created to bring governance to the people. If Structuring and restructuring never worked out then what structuring are you calling for again?
What Nigeria needs is NOT Restructuring or True Federalism. What Nigeria needs is industrialization by building factories in each Local Government Area of the federation in accordance with their raw materials and minerals.. These would alleviate poverty, build the jobs and generate the revenue needed to finance states budgets. True Federalism and Restructuring is just a slogan and a facade. It is nothing more.
If this is your reason for agitating as a militant, then you are riding the wrong horse and heading on a wrong direction. It is time to build Nigeria again. Just seek knowledge and let Nigeria have peace to develop. Don't be deceived.... Stop being deceived.

Crime / Shekau Reappears Hours After ISIS Named New Boko Haram Leader, Says He Was Decei by Drsheddy(m): 11:39am On Aug 04, 2016
Thee erstwhile leader of Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad popularly known as Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has released a recorded message a few hours after the news of his successor was made public by ISIS via its magazine.
The Islamic State militant group on Wednesday announced Abu Musab al-Barnawi as its West African affiliate ‘Boko Haram’s new leader.
Shekau in the 10-minute 23-second audio message in Arabic and Hausa said he was deceived, but he will never stray from the ideology of the Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad which he said had a basis in the Quran.
Shekau in the recorded message said nothing would deter the sect from pursuing it’s cause even if they are called ‘kwawarij’ meaning those that opposed arbitration as a means to chose a new leader.
The new Shekau message coming after one year of silence has clearly confirmed the ideological differences and friction in Boko Haram hierarchy and failure to resolve their differences which might have led to the IS declaring Abu Musab al-Banawi as the new leader of the deadly sect.
Authoritative sources have also confirmed that Shekau has been against IS advisors sent to train his fighters, he is also accused of hoarding food, ammunition and recklessly killing Muslims, allegation denied by Shekau in his taped message.
Shekau is said to be high-handed, killing off his fighters under the slightest excuses without recourse to in-depth findings of their misdemeanors, to completely derail these his adversaries to derail completely from the ideology of the sect as prescribed by the principles of Jihad.
The idealogical uprising in the sect in another premise is said to hinge on attacks targeted at Internally Displaced Persons, Mosques and other places of worship some Boko Haram fighters considered impure.
Abu Musab al-Barnawi, the purported new leader according to a famous journalist, Ahmed Salkida who has been following Boko Haram since its emergence said al-Bernawi is the son of late Mohammed Yusuf, the founder of Boko Haram who was extra-judicially murdered by the Nigerian police in 2009.
As at the time of this report, there is high indication that al-Banarwi will equally reply Shekau with his version of events.
Book Haram continues to hold several high school students kidnapped from Chibok hostage at an unknown destination.
Below is excerpts of Shekau’s words in Hausa:
“All blessings be to Almighty Allah, and his His Prophet SAW. I am Imam Abubakar Shekau
“This is the message to the world, to those who can understand Hausa and any other languages it can be translated for a clear understanding of the message, which is why we are sending this message to the world.
“The content of my message goes thus. We have heard news going round and attributed to people we had earlier pledge allegiance to. Even though we are not against them base on the message we heard in the world radio but we are stillonour ideology.
“We know those we differ with, and I have written on this long ago. All we wrote have been documented with me, some eight pages and some nine pages stating their kind of ideology.
“Because I stated it clear that I am against the principle where someone will dwell in the society with the infidels without making public his opposition or anger against infidels publicly as it is stated in the Quran. Anyone doing such can’t be a real Muslim thick and thin. This is what our ideology proved. And that is where I am, to them, a Muslim can dwell in the society and do his marketing compromising core foundations.
“I want the world to know that we are still holding our ideology and tied with the Quran, we will not derail and will not revolt but will continue to remain in the cause of Allah. Following Prophet SAW is compulsory for us, and we will follow it to the end.
“This is our stand, and we are still in the cause of Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad and Allah will help us. May Allah strengthen us to remain in this cause.
“We are still members of Jama’atu Ahl as-Sunnah li-Da’awati wal-Jihad, no matter what they call us, we remain what we are. No matter what we have our basis in Quran. No matter what they call us, what we aspire is to justify our ideology in the Quran which is ultimate because we have not derailed. We are on and in the future, we will not accept any emissary except the one we can attest he is sincere and truthful for Allah and His cause.
“In the first place, we sat and I was deceived, they said I should write my ideology to be taken if there is a mistake they will point out and bring back. They now deceive me, and it is base on some authorities and today I found out that there is one who is following principles of infidel which they want me to follow, and Prophet has stopped us against such. We are still in the cause of Allah and will never depart in the struggle to establish an Islamic caliphate and standing by Islam. We will continue to work for the cause of Allah no going back.
“Anyone that caused this, no problem, if it’s possible may Allah show him the correct path and if it is not so may Allah protect us from his mischief.”

Politics / Kogi Former Governor, Capt Wada Abandons 3 Airplanes At Kuala Lumpur Airport by Drsheddy(m): 2:36pm On Aug 03, 2016
Boeing 747-200F planes with the registration numbers TF-ARM (L) and TF-ARN (R) are seen parked on the tarmac at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang on Dec 8, 2015. Still puzzled by the mystery of missing flight MH370, Malaysian airport authorities now have the opposite problem: three Boeing 747 planes left unclaimed at the country's main airport.
Three Boeing 747-200F planes belonging to the former governor of Kogi State, Capt Idris Wada have been sitting at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia for more than a year. Now they could be auctioned off if their owner doesn't claim them, according to the Malaysian Airport Authority.
That's according to ads the airport placed in The Star, one of the country's largest English daily newspapers, and The Sin Chew Daily on Monday.
"If you fail to collect the aircraft within 14 days of the date of this notice, we reserve the right to sell or otherwise dispose of the aircraft pursuant to the Civil Aviation Regulations 1996 and use the money raised to set off any expenses and debt due to us under the said regulations," the ad said. (The year 1996 is a mistake, the act was established in 1969).
An airport official told Bloomberg that they know who owns the three 747-200F planes, but that the entity is not cooperating to move the planes.
"We have been in communication with the so-called owner, but they have not been responding to take away the aircraft. That's why we go through this process to legalize whatever actions we want to take," Zainol Mohd Isa, general manager of Malaysia airports, told Bloomberg. "We want to clear the area, we want to utilize our parking bay."
In a statement, Malaysia Airports explained the move, suggesting that the owner of the planes is a defunct foreign company.
"The giving of such notice by way of advertisement is a common and reasonable step in the process of debt recovery especially in cases where the company concerned has ceased operations and is a foreign entity whereby exhaustive steps undertaken to find a contact person have not been successful.
MalaysiaAirport explained it received a man who identified himself as the son of the owner of the planes in February 2016,seeking the release of the three planes to him, saying he has concluded arrangements to move the planes to Hanoi International Airport, Vietnam but the authority declined his request due to insufficient evidence.
Reliable and verifiable source claimed the planes are owned by Capt Idris Wada who has refused to show up to claim the planes for obvious reason which is promoting the airport authority to auction the planes.

Politics / Youth Alliance for Change Berates Remi Tinubu by Drsheddy(m): 4:26pm On Jul 16, 2016
A youth group made up of thousands of APC youth from the North Central, Youth Alliance for Change, YAC has condemned the attack on the Senator representing Kogi West people in the Senate, Senator Dino Melaye by Senator Remi Tinubu over arguments on continued victimization of Senate leadership by forces opposed to the emergence of Sen. Abubakar Bukola Saraki as Senate President.

The group through a communique made available to reporters in Abuja yesterday and signed by its Director of Public Communication, Mallam Idris Sanni said the actions of the Senator from Lagos smacks of “arrogance, political vendetta and betrayal of Senate unity against external influence”.

It frowns at the sustained attack on the leadership of the Senate over the failure of Senator Bola Tinubu to install his stooges on the leadership of the National Assembly, saying the National Leader of the party should be called to order before he plunges the party into a major crisis.

“We have watched with interest, how Senator Remi Tinubu has failed to recover from the humiliation of his husband, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the election of principal officers in the Senate. While her husband is fighting from outside the chambers through various courts, Remi Tinubu has continued to fight from inside.

“It is unfortunate that Remi Tinubu has not shown any respect toward the present leadership of the Senate just because they are not his husband choices. The Senate belongs to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and it’s people, not an extension of Tinubu political empire

“We know why Tinubu wants to control everywhere ahead of the 2019 general elections. He can put his wife, daughter and in-laws on the ballots in Lagos. He should know Nigeria is bigger than Lagos”.

YAC expressed “profound support for Senator Dino Melaye, who it described as “a sterling example of youth representation in governance and symbol of democracy, quality representation and legislative excellence via independence”, calling on the leadership of the Senate to “sanction Remi Tinubu for her unguarded vituperation against the Jarma of Okuta and the Senior Advocate of the Masses of Nigeria “.

The group called on the leadership of the All Progressives Congress to protect the victory of the party by promoting genuine change, equity and justice, saying the party is bigger than the selfishness of some leaders who are plunging the party into chaos for failing to actualize their aim of controlling every institution in Nigeria.

The group also call on all democrats in the country to remain vigilant in protecting the “hard-earned democracy procured with the blood and sweat of democracy martyrs”.

“Senator Dino Melaye is an institution in Nigeria. He is followed by millions of youth across the country for his heroics in exposing high profile corrupt cases. As an activist, he has fought relentlessly to reverse obnoxious policies that were clearly against the interest of the masses. He is a role model and a jewel to the party. We are solidly behind him because we believe he is fighting on the side of justice”, the group said.

Car Talk / Things You Need To Know About Toyota by Drsheddy(m): 10:36am On Jul 05, 2016
Many people own Toyota and there’s a good reason for that. People don’t just buy something in numbers if it isn’t good. Toyota’s are affordable and efficient. To help you appreciate these Japanese vehicles a bit more, I did a quick research on some unknown facts about Toyota. You might know everything about the functionality of your Toyota but you probably didn’t know these other things about the global brand. .

1.The Toyota Group doesn’t just manufacture cars only. The company is huge in the textile machinery business as well. The two main types of textile machinery manufactured by the Toyota group are the spinning machinery and weaving machinery

2. Toyotas have such a long road-life that eighty percent of Toyota sold 20 years ago are still on the road today. That kind of longevity in automobiles is quite amazing. Also, according to multiple market researches, Toyota has the best resale value. Second hand Toyota units sell as quickly as French fries during lunchtime.

3. The founder of Toyota Motor Corporation was actually called Toyoda with a ‘D’, not Toyota. The name was changed to Toyota because when written in Katakana (a Japanese script), the word Toyota only takes 8 strokes to write, unlike Toyoda which takes 9. Well, 8 is considered a lucky number in Japanese culture. Everyone wants to be associated with it on one way or the other, hence the reason for the change.

4. Toyota cars came about as a result of Japan’s war with China in the 1920s. Japan needed to start producing vehicles to aid citizens in moving from war torn areas so Kilichiro Toyoda, the founder, travelled to the US in 1929 to learn about automobile production. He came back with great ideas inspired by the Chevrolet and Dodge vehicles. His newly found knowledge then aided in the building of the very first Toyota vehicles.

5. As of 2015, Toyota is the world’s largest car manufacturer, selling over 11 million vehicles annually. Toyota has business operations in a whopping 170 countries. Add this to the fact that the company currently holds the highest number of global patents – 1000 to be exact, and you have a winner. Meaning 1000 new Toyota models are coming in the future. Who can compete with that?

6. Back in the 1950s, the company almost collapsed. It was saved by the Korean War. The company produced only 300 vehicles in mid 1950s as it was on the verge of bankruptcy. But as when the Korean War started, the US was in urgent need of vehicles. So it ordered around 5000 vehicles from Toyota. Consequently, the company was revived from the huge government paycheck. Talk of being rescued from the brink of failure. Well, there aren’t many good things that come out of war but this was one of the few ones.

7. Despite competition from the likes of Tesla, Toyota is the world’s leading manufacturer of Hybrid vehicles. It is estimated that there are over 3 million hybrid Toyota vehicles on the road right now. The Toyota Prius is the most popular hybrid vehicle
