I'm not against making laws against an act like exam malpractice but there are more serious offenses that should be focused on. How about making a law for public execution of electoral offenders? Or those who steal from public offices? Start from these first before going for the lesser ones like exam malpractice. It's only when the electoral process is sanitised that we'd have good leaders ready to work for the people. And when you have such good leaders the economy would naturally follow in that positive direction

Just imagine. Foreigners come to your country to overthrow the president and you allow them to back to their country. What the DRC should have done should have been to have exposed them and then immediately and outrightly execute them. Sending them to jail meant it was only a matter of time before America would pressure the DRC govt to release them in one way or the other. Outrightly executing them wouldn't have given the Americans that chance to negotiate their release. That's how it's done. Now these same prisoners would of course go back to the US and restrategize on how to effectively carry out another coup. A lot of them lack moral values needed for marriage that's why divorce rates are high in this generation. No man wants to make that mistake. The patriotism must start from the government and politicians and then watch how the citizens would naturally follow! That's what happened in all these countries you mentioned.

Minimum wage in these countries is like $20 per hour or like $200 per day if you work for standard 10hrs. That's like $1,000 dollars per week minus overtime. I am a witness to this. Last week I visited ShopRite in my state I felt like weeping. It now looked like a road side shop with no worthwhile items in stock anymore, just empty. I threw my mind back to several years ago when you could find anything in ShopRite. And to worsen matters, people no longer have the purchasing power to go to these shopping malls. Businesses are shutting down because of the bad state of the economy. it's really sad that my dear country has descended to this state

I laugh when I see people support how the president unconstitutionally removed a sitting governor. They think it's just about Rivers state. What this has done is that it has made the president capable of removing any state governor who doesn't bend to his will or who he doesn't like. All he needs to do is to use third parties to cause artificial problem in that state and then claim that state is in crises and then suspend the governor using his stooge national assembly, and then install his man in that state who would rig the election for his party. There is a proverb that says when you see evil happening to your neighbor and you keep quiet and support it, it's only a matter of time before that same evil would reach your doorsteps and there'd be no one to support you. I'm not saying Fubara was entirely right, but things should be done constitutionally. If the president cannot be guided by constitution, then the country is finished. Let the military take over government.

I don't understand what you're taking up with the Chinese govt. You don't even get the point. He's trying to identify an anomaly in the system. A president who'd also eventually contest an election shouldn't be the one to appoint the electoral chairman. It was wrong for past presidents to have done so. The summary of everything is that there should be a change in who appoints the inec chairman and also Chief justice. There should be a commission saddled with this purpose so that they don't fall under undue influence of the president who appoints them
