People who are saying the woman shouldn't quit her job don't know the basics of marriage. The man married her because he needed a wife and a mother to his children, that is, a homemaker. The moment any of them fail in this two, they are no longer worth calling the spouse. So if the woman allows her job to come in the way of her primary duty to her husband then she is causing the marriage to fail. It's likely the children didn't even understand the implications of directly linking their dad to their mum's death. They're still very young and would have probably been influenced by the woman's relatives to testify against him. When a child is young, they always believe that anything their mum dies is right and their dad wrong until they become adults and then fully understand everything.
