Who are the OUR? if I'm doing a business and I can't recover my capital in 6months or a year, then it doesn't worth it. You just want to impress people here you are bereft of biz ideas. If I'm selling 800pieces (trying to push it to 1000pieces before December) of slice bread per week at N240 each...make your calculation. I have 5 staffs, the highest earn 60k per month, 3 earn 35k and 2 earn 30k per month. I run my gen 4 to 5hours per day. Pls do your calculation.

Gazzuzz ,

With your 2million, travel to Ondo state, buy 35logs at 50k per log. Transport it to shagamu with 150k, load it in a container, forwarding fee is 1,100,000. A container is sold at $12,000.
Buy palm oil from ondo, and sell in that big market close to ketu. There are women that buy 500 25litres keg every 2weeks.

There's a way guys construct "coldroom" now, let them construct for you. It is better than an irregular 35k with repairs per week....

Etc..
..

Your oil sales biz and your car repair workshop is giving you the cashflow you need as a man/husband/father. What can 35k even do in a week?? Is that what you guys call a cash flow?? You are not just informed!

(Added this)
Gazzuzz , let your wife sell pet drinks in whole sale. 2m will give her lots of bigcola products (that's the new drink for the masses), then she can add cocacola n Pepsi products...

Look around you, Haruna is densely populated. What's giving Nigeria relevance in the market place today is her population.

It is a tough business, but if it wasn't tough everybody will be good at it .. For now I continue doing it as long as profit margin permits me to do so ..

Well, car owners on nairaland may not favour you as a newbie. Why not try uber market place. There are plenty dead car owners there looking for drivers. They will even flood your phone with calls and SMS asking you to drive for them.
More importantly, they don't ask for security deposits

as regards the emboldened, if u often pay up 30k remittance 2-3days b4 the due day. Then, 35k a week wasn't bondage in any way for u strictly on the issue of disbursement.
Statements like this are real suicidal, it can give the car owner 2nd tots on d weekly remittance. If u knw, you know.

Wow.

Kudos to you.

God would bless the work of your hands and you would harvest your seed.

***************************

But please you need to educate the new and upcoming drivers not to fall into this same trap. To me it's wickedness. How would a driver be responsible for engine oil and car servicing. It's the car owner responsibility to buy his/her engine oil and service his/her car.

I am really happy for you that you finally get out of the contract - bondage - although you stay too long there.

Please enlighten and educate others.

Congratulations on your new ride.

I also pray God bless your work and crown all your efforts with success. His (God) Grace would found and favour you. He would grant all your heart desires and bless you with your own car.

Amen.

It was one of those contracts you go into out of desperation.
Owner said he will handle only engine and gear box repairs while I took care of every other repairs. For 1 year and 3 months, there was no engine issue neither was there any gear box issues.
I remitted 35k/week.
I was in bondage.
Luckily, robbers rescued me from that contract.
I am now on a 30k/week contract with a 2010 corolla. NO ASSURANCE DEPOSIT demanded from the car owner and we are having a wonderful relationship
. I even pay him on Sundays at times before taxify and uber settles.
There are still reasonable persons here on nairaland

Thanx for response.
WD definitely reach u via chat or call soon.

Another question;
What quantity of engine oil is required to change the oil?

Can someone use normal engine oil that cost #3,500 per gallon to those expensive mobil-1 that cost over #15,000/gallon?

What's the effect of using the #3,500 engine oil on these kinds of engines?

Do they find c230 2016models that is 4plugs.

Would you call this attached pic of an engine a 4plug c230 engine?
Is it a v6 or v4?

WD appreciate your response.

Thanx!

Meanwhile, how does this very engine/spec compare to the one you posted on page 6?

That is the c230(silver) you posted on page 6.

Can you pls compare&,contrast?
Yes very possible, but that 15k or 17k mobil oil that you are avoiding, u will now replace the engine for 200k or more ...so you decide use cheap oil now and replace the engine three or more months down line for 200k at least or 17k on good oil and enjoy the car for years to come ...keep in mind once the mechanic starts playing with your engine, trust me that engine will never be the same again.. So weight out your options.. You either laught now or cry later.. Or cry now by spending 17k on Mobil 1 USA spec oil and get last laugh

but have same shape except for the engine the normal c230 V-6 2.5L which is quite a rugged engine and the fuel economy is not too bad if engine is sound,

while the c230 kompressor has a I-4 1.8L with supercharger, The Kompressor is a supercharger which is an air pump driven by a belt. It is a lot simpler than a turbo and spins at a fraction of the speed a turbo does.

both cars are built for speed the Kompressor is there for higher horsepower.

either of the 2 is a good choice if u love speed or you travel a lot u can go for the V6 but if not you can go for the komoressor, but u must use the proper oil and always check that there is sufficient oil flow to cool and protect the turbo bearings from coking due to heat buildup after shutdown.

call or chat me on O8O256615OO, O816887562O

;Dru ,why do u always feel and insinuate as if ur the only one that can buy tokunbo car, u talk down on ur fellow partners too much . I know u hv some cars with u that hv been in naija for more than 6months ,is that one still tokunbo? As far as I'm concerned, all ur cars are naija used immediately its used on our bad roads

You dey on point o ..better to drive a tokunbo for few months and hopefully you would have save money aside and join it with whatever u had save previously and buy your tokunbo.. It is highly durable that way ....but the question remain is do we any or how many partners are actually buying tokunbo cars for uber?

If I were u, I will pay assurance deposit and take a tokunbo car on rental. Pls don't attempt any Nigerian used car for the purpose of e hailing. Be it rental or HP.

Drive on rental for months till u can save up for a tokunbo car of your own.

Izzit that there is no good in this business from the onset or these hypocrites just don't want to ever see the good innit at all? shocked
