PoliticsRe: Breaking News!! Latest On The Killing Of Military Men In Delta by Dsimmer: 12:11pm On Mar 17, 2024
jamesversion:
Why would anybody believe you?

Ijaws are notorious for land grabbing and revisionism.

Everywhere Ijaws claim as theirs is always false claim.

Allow an Ijaw an opportunity to settle in your place and the next day they are dragging the place with you. From Edo to Delta to Rivers to Akwa Ibom, Ijaws have become a menace.
It's easy to know Ijaw land.

Anywhere Ijaw are not seen close to the sea, then it means it's not Ijaw land but was leased. Ijaw were fishermen who came to fish by the sea, hence anywhere they couldn't stay by the sea, then it meant that land was already occupied by others.

Anyways, old provincial map should tell everyone where everyone belong already. So I only see foolishness in anyone trying to lay claim over what's not theirs.

Whatzup with Delta though?
Christianity EtcRe: According To The Quran, Who Misleads People? by Dsimmer:
Sterope:
I didn't know you have a screw loose

One more time, Allah is the same thing as Oluwa if you were Yoruba.
Yoruba don't have stone idol moon worship attached to Oluwa, nor are they Arabs.

While I understand that Christianity was got from the Hebrew who have got several names for God which are similar to that of Yoruba's names for God, For example, Elowah for God is similar to Yoruba's Oluwa for God. Hebrew also have Elohim which is equivalent to Olorun or Olohun. Or Hebrew phrase for God such as El'Mareh which is equivalent to Olodumare/Eledumare. Or Hebrew's Elah which is equivalent to Yoruba's Ela, however, don't forget these names all have meaning in Yoruba language. "Oluwa" means Lord or Lord of creation. "Olohun" means The Lord of all things or "Olorun Ataye" means the Lord of heaven and earth. "Olodumare" means the Lord of the vessel/vaccum of infinite creations. "Ela" means the Light or the Word enlightenment or the Wisdom.

So you see all the names have meaning in Yoruba language. Yoruba didn't say it's called God without knowing the meaning of the names in Yoruba language. While I don't understand the mystery for the reason why Yoruba have similar language as the Hebrew but the thing is, Yoruba do understand the meaning 😂

That being said, I understand that Mohammad got his Islam idea from his first wife's cousin who preached Christianity to him However, Mohammad ended up attaching Arab stone idol deity to it while also acting like a criminal Terrorist terrorising people to steal their land for Arabs who had wanted to continue such criminal act like they stole North Africa lands for example until they were dealt with by the Europeans. He was also a Peadophile. Not a good man tbh. As a matter of fact, I don't take Mohammad serious. It's his useless criminal steps which some useless criminal follow today to want to steal other people's land heritage for their ethnic group.

My honest view is that there is a grand plan to sabotage Asiwaju’s presidency. The approach is in two fronts. Economy and insecurity
You will think that Tinubu understands Nigeria and the ethnic chauvinism that comes with it. Many Nigerians are loyal to their Tribe and religion before Nigeria.
Buhari was not foolish in keeping the security architecture in the North. He preferred that if he was failing. He rather fail with his kinsmen.
Asiwaju took over and left the 3 most key decision making security chiefs in the hands of Fulani. They have unleashed across the country. More than 700 kidnapped January till date. Mark it. This is just the beginning.

Between January 2023 to May 2023. Go and look at the data. Insurgency almost disappeared. Kidnapping was just flashes across the country. It’s like since Tinubu took over. They have been unleashed.
Before he wakes up. His government will be gone. Tinubu need not be told that many Northern elite didn’t want him including Buhari. So the war has shifted from the ballot box to security and economic sabotage.

See the top 3 security heads and we want to win the war on insecurity.

National Security adviser - Mallam Nuhu Ribadu
DG DSS – Yusuf Magaji Bichi
ARMY - Gen. C.G Musa; - Chief of Defence Staff (CDS)
AIR FORCE - AVM H.B Abubakar

Solution is simple: Tell the service chiefs and DSS to Stop the insecurity or loose your Jobs in 6 months. If they fail, sack them without delay and see how insurgency will be decimated in the North.

Tinubu also left Mele Kyari as NNPC Boss. A man that supervised NNPC unchecked, has the highest number of crude oil theft under his watch. He is still there making no head way with the most cherished product Nigeria has.

Take note: I didn’t support Tinubu’s presidency, but if by now him and his handlers are not aware that there is serious sabotage against his government, then he is more naïve than I thought.
Beside that, Every state should have its own police. Also, Southern Kaaduna (Gurara) should be created and have its own police. It's the Fulani causing havoc in Southern Kaaduna.

Now they know. Hisbal will likely wage in and the logo will be changed.
Lol.

Don't they know the Northerners adopted it from the Yoruba? Likewise the name Arewa was got from the Yoruba. North compass in Yoruba is called Ariwa while North star compass 🧭 in Yoruba is called Arewa in Yoruba. That was adopted by the core Northerners, alongside the knot by the core Northerners when Nigeria was to get independence in the late 1950's.

Funnily, It's quite mysterious how some Yoruba culture are similar to the Hebrew. For example, making the second twin the elder of the twins, the Solomon knot used for royalties by the Yoruba, female child inheritance, marrying the widow in the family like Judah's children did etc. That's aside the circumcision done. Yoruba even has a proverb for circumcision which is, "O ko ara re sita be Omo ojo mejo" which means "he exposed his manhood like that of a child of 8 days old". However, Circumcision can be done anytime within 1 month or two months. All these are Yoruba cultures. There's also the similar names for God such as Oluwa etc for example. I can't understand the mystery till now.

Anyways, I have got two theories which is either the Yoruba parted from the Hebrew while the Hebrew were still in Egypt or the Yoruba are simply ancient people doing their thing. Circumcision could have been done for health reasons for example.

In fact the real reason why Alaafin of Oyo and Ooni if Ife (called Oghene by Bini who sometimes add g or gh to the word they couldn't pronounce well) allowed the Oba of Bini did as he liked in Yorubaland was because Oba of Bini was Oranmiyan's son however Ooni of Ife always dictated the tune which Oba of Bini always followed.

Funnily,u can't tell me that u push them down to sokoto and same fulani took the entire kwara state till this day.

Let me say this before I leave u to ur lies,Yorubas are talkative people noisy neighbours and so is ur history...ur history isn't consistent with facts on ground.

How u can claim what u don't know. Same way Oduduwa ur ancestor lied that he originated from Egypt, another say he came from Israel, another one said he came from Mecca in Saudi arabia and the one that still confused historians is that version that says he descended from heaven...sleep over this matter and ask why yourself why u guys have inconsistent history?
If you had a brain, you would already knew that the British admitted and documented that they were the ones who brought back the shameless emir as puppet in Ilorin. Not Kwara btw. And no where did anyone say Oduduwa originated from another place. While there are some similarities with the Hebrews such as, the similar names of God and some cultures & designs such as, Solomon knot used for royalties by the Yoruba, making the second twin the elder of the twins, inheritance for the female children, inheriting the widows as wives like Judah's children did, some similar bronze head sculpture etc, however, Oduduwa, the King after Obatala came from Oke Ora while Oduduwa, the creation & progenitor fell from the sky. All these are stated in IFA. If you had problem with that narration, go and knack your brain on ground. All that don't concern you to begin with but you wouldn't stop crying while spewing trash huh

It's even funny how Igbo always wail where Yoruba is concerned. Like what's your business? Imagine Igbo cannibals who were found naked in bushes eating the flesh of one another shocked In fact, Ajayi crowther was part of who civilised the Igbo to begin with and how did you ungrateful lots repay it? By displaying your typical bushy entitled ungrateful hateful behaviour with the Igbo coup while murdering every other regional leaders apart from the Igbo and also destroyed our true Federalism. So what is stopping you from going to your cultural gods to make it well for you?
Meanwhile, I need to relay to you that Nothing is wrong with Yoruba religion for example, which is IFA because aside its belief in a supreme God called Olorun/Olodumare/Oluwa, it also encompasses innovation and creativity. The only thing is, some of the IFA practitioners need to be enlightened to know that the Orisha who are also Yoruba ancestors and also the ebo are simply intelligent creative talents and clues respectively. For example, IFA asking the Yoruba to celebrate the ancestors is to celebrate history and also an act to ensure these creative clues are kept in memory as constant reminders to be brought forth into technical realities, according to one's talent (Orisha) dictates because the Orisha who are also Yoruba ancestors represent the important materials which formed the world, the materials which formed the body and also represent intelligence and creative talents/abilities. Hence, It's like IFA teaching innovation and creativity to Yoruba while asking the Yoruba to keep it in memory as a constant reminder to bring it forth into technical realities, according to one's ability/talent (Orisha) dictates, just like the ancestors had done.

Did you even realize that Computer today uses the same process as IFA? IFA uses 8 bit byte. That's the basic unit of computer, same principle which IFA operate on.

You're the one unreasonable. There are several atheist scientists, technical engineers with several inventions, medical doctors in the world etc for example. So It's stupid to think religion is only what Nigeria or Africans need the most.

While I have got no problem with religion inculcating moral values and goodness, however the focus should also be on innovation, agriculture, creativity, and civilization. That's what African government should mostly focus on to develop the country. The world itself is an intelligent creative world. Also, one's culture shouldn't be eroded in the process of any religion. Just as I previously stated, any religion which ask one to change his culture/identity before such person can communicate🙄, should tell people that the god of such religion is a stupid god as a matter of fact because if the god of that religion is all knowing and not stupid, he will know there are diverse different cultures in the world. One thing is if you don't conserve your culture and heritage, you will get wiped out and you've got no one to blamed but yourself because No one asked you to change your identity and heritage to begin with but your stupidity.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do We Worship Foreign Gods? by Dsimmer:
Dtruthspeaker:
Do.you see the stupidity of you contradictiing.yourself?
There's no Contradictions. Of course Religion is meant to inculcate morality and goodness however innovative and creative enlightenment are what a nation needs the most for civilization and development.

No doubt the Europeans came with the innovative enlightenment which was the western civilization they brought to African countries and not just the religion alone and tbh, such innovative enlightenment did help to civilize Africans a bit.

Should the Europeans have colonized Africa? Absolutely not. They were wrong for that but they at least stopped the invading Arabs from wiping out the whole of Africans while the Europeans also offered civilization with some innovative enlightenment.

So while the Europeans have got their fault, I wouldn't say they destroyed the African culture because if they did, the core Northerners in Nigeria for example wouldn't even exist today 🤔 In fact, from the look of it, it was Arab who destroyed the core Northern culture because the core Northerners in Nigeria have got no culture today, except their language which some of it were already lost to Arab however it was an European, Rupert East who actually preserved it by ensuring that the core Northerners in Nigeria write their own Northern language for example, instead of the Arabic they were previously writing. So, I wouldn't say the Europeans destroyed African culture because most of the African culture they met were retained which they even documented. An example was how they didn't have problem with Africans using their own language for God. For example, Yoruba calls the supreme God in their own language such as Olorun, Olodumare, Oluwa etc. Another example was how they didn't have problem with the Yoruba making several creative hymns and songs in Yoruba language.

In fact, the Europeans preserved most of Africa culture and heritage by documenting on them. So I wouldn't say they eroded African culture and they also didn't come with religion alone but also brought innovative enlightenment and civilization to enlighten Africa the more with some innovative ideas and civilization however they were wrong with the colonization. The colonization was quite wrong even though they didn't wipe out Africans like the Arabs wiped out the Northern Africans and stole the Northern Africa lands.

Would African have been civilized if the Europeans hadn't come? Of course yes, take the Yoruba with the Ifa for example. IFA was already enlightening the Yoruba about a lot of things such as the materials which formed the world which is related to science, the materials which formed the body which is related to biological sciences, how to use these materials with several innovative and creative ideas which was what birthed the construction of roads by the Yoruba, traditional acupuncture, several creative arts and designs by the Yoruba, Agriculture and several Food cuisines, Yoruba clothing fabrics such as aso oke etc. Hence why I said any religion without innovative and creative ideas is trash! The world itself is an intelligent creative world.

Olumese is a cognate of the Benin Oruwmense. The O in Esan Olumese is pronounced Oor while the O in Olu in Yoruba Is pronounced basic o. Also the word Olu in Yoruba means Lord while that of the Esan which is pronounced in Oorlu means he did, the Full meaning Olumese means he did me right. It is the same meaning for the Bini Oruwmense. In Bini and Esan language, anywhere there is R in Bini word, there is L in Esan. Names like Ighodaro in Benin is given as Ighodalo in Esan, Words like Odionwere in Benin is given as Odionwele in Esan and so on .

The Bini and Esan word for Offspring is Ovbi, not Evbi. Ovbi is not the word for a child, it is the word for descendants or offspring. And also all Edoid group call a child Omo. Urhobo, Bini, Esan Degema, Engenni, Ososo, Owan, Etsako, etc. So the usage is not for Esan alone. There are Words like Omote in Urhobo, Omosefe, Omorose and so on in Benin and Esan.

Odua is used among the Esans how? There is no singular Esan king, there are 35 major communities in Esan land and all of them have their distinct engine. The Enogie Agba was the second King of Uromi not the entire Esan land. And the meaning of It in Esan land is God of war. I believe it is not the same thing in Yoruba.

There are similar words in every tribe with distinct meanings. Esan is not a Yoruba word for the umpteenth time. Sigh! I believe the reason you quoted me was because you wanted to get clarifications on some issues. It is an Edo word “Esan fia”that means they fled
No be only Oruw😂.. This Reminds me of how someone didn't even know that Olise is from Olosa where Osa is also from.

Olu is a Yoruba word. Just like Omo and Esan are Yoruba words. Bini word for child is Evbi.

Do you even realize that Bini king is from Yoruba ancestry, Oranmiyan?

You know what? Bini should stop writing gibberish to distort history upsidedown because facts won't change regardless, even though I know you're ain't Bini though because this ain't your first time with your other monikers. Anyways, We all know it was Oranmiyan ancestry in Bini palace who went out of the palace to found other places which includes the likes of Esan, Owan, Etsako etc. in fact, Owan still celebrate Oranmiyan festival till now.

One thing I know is it's stupid for anyone to change his identity because of a religion. The Asians are still Asians with their identity today and are doing fantastically great. Point is If God is said to be all knowing, he should know everyone's identity which is the person's culture/heritage, hence God is not stupid nor dumb to not understand that there are several races with different cultures. You don't have to change your language in order to communicate with God, except the person is saying God is stupid and doesn't understand that there are diverse races on earth who speak diverse languages. In fact, anyone who does such in a bid to communicate with God is more or less saying God is stupid!

In fact , if I were to talk about the Yoruba religion, Ifa for example which is filled with a lot such as science, innovation, creativities etc and yes, fasting is no stranger to Yoruba religion. Fasting is what is called "Isera" in Ifa while prayer/petition is called "Ibewe". So all these things are not strange to Yoruba religion. Yoruba had always known about Isera before Jesus fasted on earth. Jesus was regarded as the first to fast in these foreign religions which includes christianity and the Arab religion, yet the Yoruba already knew about fasting (Isera) before that. As a matter of fact, fasting has no specific time because it's between you and God. In fact, your fasting mustn't be known to anyone. That's why it's called Isera. So, that's about Isera and Ibewe in Yoruba religion.

While Isera is often related to Ibewe (petition), it's also a principle to ensure discipline and fitness, especially for the gluttons who know next to nothing than being gluttons. However, this doesn't mean one should starve himself because that's also not healthy.

Point is God expects nothing from anyone except for the creations to go display their intelligence and creative talents to make the world a civilized better place.. Also being good, which entails not doing to others what you don't want done to you. Don't steal for example if you don't want it done to you.

Speaking of intelligence and creativity for example, a lot of things mentioned in Ifa is to civilize the people, even as the ebo are intellectual symbolism which shouldn't be taken literally because they're simply intellectual symbolism 💯. For example oil is needed as ebo for Orisha Ogun which represents iron, mechanical engines etc and we all know oil lubricant is needed for mechanical engines. Hence the ebo are intellectual symbolism.

Another is Gbere sinsin done by making incision and also squeezing juices from medicinal plants into the incision made for example were known as traditional acupuncture back then which later birthed the idea of injection today. Aseje is the principle that birthed taking meal before medication which is applied in hospital today. And so-on. Meanwhile, the aseje was part of what birthed the idea of several Yoruba's cuisines 😂.. So all these are meant to civilize the people. In fact, The Yoruba already started road construction before the Europeans came. Not to mention agriculture, mathematics, creative arts and designs etc.
In fact, only a foolish person adopt another person's culture just because of one nonsense religion he chooses but the question such foolish person always fail to ask is the fact if a god of a supposed religion is all knowing, shouldn't such god know that there are several diversities of people? In fact, any religion who wants you to change your culture should tell you that the god of such religion is a stupid god because if he isn't stupid, he will know there are diverse cultures in the world.

It's still painful how the North Africans were wiped out by the murderous Arabs for example. If not for the Europeans who stopped the Arabs. Point is if you don't conserve your culture and heritage, you will get wiped out. It's simple.

In fact, what African needs the most isn't religion but more civilization, more industrialization and more development. The basis for religion is to inculcate morality and goodness.. That's it. But beyond that, there's need for innovative and creative ideas📌 That's why any religion which lacks innovative and creative ideas is trash!

The world itself is an intelligent creative world. So these are what Africans need the most.

Also checkmating useless corrupt politicians. In fact, a gruesome prosecution should be met on the corrupt politicians. Politics isn't a career. It's an avenue to serve the people. The money is not yours but for the people, which is needed to ensure better economy and civilization for the people. Annoying thing is some politicians doesn't even know if they invest in more industrialization which also includes agro industrialization combined with large scale farming, more revenue
will be generated.

I don’t like blind argument, if you will not be willing to learn, there is really no need to quote me.

Esan is Esan. It is similar to Bini, it is independent of yoruba

Omo in all Edoid language, from Benin to Esan to Etsako to Owan to Ososo to Uneme to Egenni language in Rivers state to Degema in Rivers state to Urhobo in Delta state to Isoko in Delta all use Omo as a word to mean child

In Edo groups, because of how we value children here,

We equate children to the beautiful things of this world, there are names like Omorose which means A child in one’s life is the beauty in that person’s life. Omosefe- A child is more than money. So those Omo you saw is certainly a short form of these names.

Can Oyo and Owo communicate smoothly without using Oyo dialect? Aren’t they deemed dialects of the same language. Isn’t Okpe and Uvwie distinct languages from Urhobo according to linguistic scholars? Don’t they regard themselves as Urhobos? How many Igbo dialects that are regarded as dialects of the same language can communicate with themselves without the need for their central tongue? Can’t Efik and Ibibio communicate smoothly? Aren’t they regarded as dialects of the same language? Why are they still regarding themselves as different groups?

Benin and Esan has more mutual intelligibility than many subgroups within big tribes. According to Pedro Obaseki, the difference between Benin and Esan is lesser than the difference between Oyo and Ijebu or Oyo and Owo. We bear the same names, we have the same names for almost every items.

Many a times becoming members of the same groups among very similar groups is politics and a central language factor. Enahoro tried bringing up a central language for Edoid, if he had stuck his desire for a central language for Edo within Benin and Esan alone, we would have since been one tribe, it would have been so realistic and possible. He tried to extend to Owan and Etsako, i believe that is where the loudest rejection would have came from. Or if Benin and Esan were alone in one state with groups like Efik/ibibio, we would since be identifying as one tribe. But because we are largely in Edo state where 98%of the population have similar language and culture, and we are not threatened by another strange major group. There is really no bearing need to put on another identity other than our very immediate identity even though we are related and we know the most related ones amongst us

Peter Ekeh described Benin and Esan as approximately mutually intelligible.

Okojie noted that even among present day Esan generation, speaking Bini may be difficult but it is unnecessary for an Esan to learn it before understanding it. According to him, it is easier for an Esan to understand Bini than Ora or Kukuruku language either of which has suffered further inflexion due of course to their early contacts with their northern, western and eastern neighbors.

Okojie was from Irrua, what Okojie meant by that to those who can’t comprehend English properly. He say for Esan people of this generation, to speak Bini fit hard them o, but them no go need learn am to understand am
Esan speak a mix of Yoruba and Bini. For example Ayo is joy to Esan, just like Ayo is in Yoruba language.

Not to mention agriculture, mathematics, creative arts and designs etc.

don’t be a dense fool, Etsako language is different from Bini, and in Etsako language, the name means God’s property
Ngwoke from southeast is telling us what Etsako means? Lol.

The Agbede who founded Etsako is a Yoruba man. Agbede means blacksmith in Yoruba and Oshinmole is a Yoruba name.

In fact, Oshinmole is an Oriki of Ogun which is an Orisha of iron. Can you see the link? Agbede means blacksmith while Oshinmole means Orisha of iron.
