Dsimmer:Let me add that I don't have problem with Arabs however, I have got problem with misrepresentation of facts or the stealing of North Africa lands. The Arab prince seems to look like an enlightened civilized man who wants civilization for Arabs and that's good for Arabs because civilization is what every nation should be clamouring for, not archaic mentality which some selfish Arabs imbibe as a result of the selfish criminal Mohammed who turned the Christianity preached to him by the brother of his first wife into a criminal terrorist avenue to terrorise others which is selfish and criminal of him. Take for example, while I like Ifa because it's an educative platform however when I heard an unenlightened Awo/Ifa man condemning modern treatment while asking every sick patient not to go to the hospital but be brought to every Awo man like in the old time, I had to object that because Ifa is all about civilization. All the things which these Awo men were practicing in the old time such as, gbere sinsin which entails administering the juices of medicinal plants into the incision cut made on the body is the basic fundamental idea/principle which birthed the syringe injection today. We've got the syringe injection today, so why return to the old way of gbere for example? Of course I wouldn't have had a problem if the said Awo man is a trained health worker with adequate modern equipments but he wasn't one yet doesn't want to refer patients to the hospital at all? Common ! You can't ask people to return back to old stone age. Hence, I objected it. That being said, the medicinal plants in Ifa are valuable, as well as the education in Ifa. As a matter of fact, Ifa itself is all about education and civilization. It gives you an intelligent creative idea and clues as fundamental platform while expecting you to build on it for modern invention. Ifa says one should always seek to add more good knowledge because no good knowledge is lost, therefore, there's nothing wrong with the western education, however, the government need to make it technical the more. So every nation needs civilization, not returning back to old archaic mentality, let alone a terrorist criminal mentality. |
yommen:You dey mind those retards? Igbo didn't vote for Tinubu yet despite that, Tinubu, a Yoruba granted approval to him when Buhari wouldn't. Coupled with the fact that the owner of Gatwick air, a Yoruba man also helped to secure him to Gatwick yet see the bitter rants from these ungrateful idiots? Dem swear for these bitter people? Ever so ungrateful and bitter. Imagine bitter ungrateful idiots crying because SW want progress in the region? Na craze? So SW shouldn't develop because of wetin? Na craze? SW government were asked to build oodua airline yet some lunatic dey cry? Like why the cry exactly? Na craze? 🙄 What's their business with what SW government want to do? 🙄 That was how they are always crying whenever any SW government want to build modern markets for the unsightly filthy looking place they tradee. Na craze? 🙄 That being said, while O'odua airline is a good initiative to have in the SW, considering the great O'odua 💥 however, there are also Value Jet, Green Africa. This is Value jet below for example.

Expanse2020:Are you talking about the op or what are you talking about exactly? Does Judea look like Arab? Are you using your brain at All? Does Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Galilee etc sound like Arab to you? Personally, I can't just understand why some choose to parrot shit despite seeing facts rendered in their faces. Personally, I dislike attempt at misrepresenting facts! Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Galilee etc are all Hebrew names. They're not Arab names. Arabs are the trespassers in that places, even as the Arabs stole Northern Africa land after murdering the Northern Africans. I mean it's always good to admit when you're wrong. |
Dsimmer:So the Igbo needed him at that time. Yoruba also needed his educative wisdom too, as a Yoruba linguist & some other basic amenities. Anyways, same Igbo insult him today despite all what he did for the Igbos. |
kettykin:Lol. Yoruba didn't need much civilization at the time Ajayi Crowther returned. Yoruba were clothed with their aso oke and adire which have got several designs/styles and also, they had their several cuisines to eat. So they had civilization already. On Christianity, The insignia found with the Yoruba such as the Solomon knot which represents divine royalty more or less depict the Messiah , even as the Hebrew/Jews have got same knot too. Also, Ifa calls the Yoruba Omoluabi which means the children of God. In fact, Ifa's belief is in christianity itself. Ifa believes in one God called Oluwa Olorun Olodumare Ayeraye who's got a begotten child which is his word. That's Christianity.Aside that, Ifa is also an an educative platform which comprises civilization, science, technology, creativity etc, apart from also containing the history of the Yoruba race. In fact, the Yoruba were already involved in metallurgy which includes copper works and bronze works, they also had several musical instruments, they were also heavily involved in several creative designs such as beads, arts, fashion etc and were already calculating mathematics and constructing pavement roads and so-on before the Europeans came. That being said, Ajayi Crowther did return to the Yoruba and helped them a bit, it was just that the Igbos needed him more at that time. I mean what would be the point of teaching Yoruba's cuisines to the Yorubas such as akara, Iyan, egusi, eba, elubo, fufu, Garri, apon, moimoi etc when the Yoruba already know these, considering these are Yoruba cuisines? So, the Igbo needed him at that time. |
MrPRevailer:Another gibberish.. This the revelation 1:14-15 below. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. "As if they burned in a furnace", NOT "as if they were burning in a furnace"! Can you now use your Brain or you've got none? It simply stated that it looked like "a burned brass" which is black. Brass itself is a black brown colour, let alone when burned. Daniel 10:6 below His body was like beryl (his garment), his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude. "Burnished bronze coloured" arms and feet.. Another confirmation there. The scriptures confirmed these severally, even with Jesus' parents hiding him in the old black Egypt country with their pharaohs who were all blacks. Which means he was black because his parents couldn't have hidden him in Egypt if he wasn't black. Or the fact that the Isrealites were described as Egyptians by other people who encountered them. Even before they left for Egypt, they were black. Remember Jacob was described as smooth but not as fair and hairy as Esau who was fair and hairy. Meaning Jacob was a black man📌 Then Jacob and his children went to live in a black Egypt country for several centuries, thereby becoming multiple thousands of blacker Africans who were described as looking as the Egyptians ( who were blacks, even as the Egyptian Pharaohs were black). All these were stated in the scriptures. So the scriptures already confirmed it. Not just the scriptures but the recently unearthed old painting of the Hebrews are all black. There are also the terracotta depicting the Hebrews in Egypt. These are all black. So what gibberish are you arguing about exactly? |
RevenuesBoost:Funny thing is apart from the Yoruba cuisines which Igbo claimed after Ajayi Crowther introduced these cuisines to the Igbo, Igbo also claimed SS soups. Tbh, I wouldn't have even bothered over it if not for the fact that Igbo not only misappropriate the facts but also, are fond of insulting the owners over it while forgetting that Igbo claimed it from the owners. Then get surprised when several facts of the real owners get pulled out in their faces while they've got no fact to back up their claim. Same way Igbo keep playing the victim while insulting others over the civil war whereas Igbo were the ones who caused it by by killing other regional leaders. |
Probz:You're not making sense. Egusi is a Yoruba word with the Yoruba sound and has its meaning only in Yoruba language. It's got several varieties and it's one of Orunmila 's favourite delicacies. it was Ajayi Crowther who introduced several Yoruba cuisines to the Igbo to stop the Igbo cannibalistic nature. |
Probz:Yoruba that has several varieties of it don't know how to Cook it? You dey craze? How do Igbo cook it when they cook it like the way they cook the shitty ohha soup? You dey craze? When one returns same insult, you will start to play the victim. Point is Egusi is Yoruba word with the Yoruba's sounds which has its meaning only in Yoruba language. QED |
Probz:Egusi is Yoruba word with the "ẹ" sound which is found in Yoruba. Igbo adding bitter leaf to Egusi doesn't change anything. Yoruba do add any different kind of vegetables they like to Egusi which is called efo elegusi, one of the varieties of Egusi. There are other varieties of Egusi. Point is Egusi has Yoruba sound with the "ẹ" sound and it's meaning is only in Yoruba language. It's the favorite cuisine of Yoruba ancestor called Orunmila. It's a Yoruba word. QED. |
Dsimmer:Speaking of Yoruba alphabets, it makes me remember that Y is also sometimes pronounced as J in Yoruba. Lol. No wonder "it shall be" is "Yoowa" or "Ye ki o wa" in Yoruba while some also pronunce it as "Je ki o wa"... Same way Yehudah is pronounced as Judah |
Sctests:Ode, I said "ẹ", not e in emeka etc. Igbo don't have "ẹ" in their alphabet, whether consonant and vowel. That's a Core fact! While Yoruba has "ẹ" in their alphabet. Egusi has "ẹ" in it. Egusi meaning is in Yoruba language too Of course, Yoruba don't have Z. Because Yoruba uses S for similar thing. |
Sctests:Ode, you can see the article where an Igbo affirmed that's it was borrowed from the Yoruba yet you're still saying gibberish? Igbo has no "ẹ" in Igbo vowel. Same way ẹnu was borrowed from the Yoruba. Egusi is a Yoruba word which has its meaning in Yoruba. QED. Yoruba delicacies were introduced to the Igbo by Ajayi Crowther to stop Igbo cannibalism. Other missionaries also introduced some delicacies to the Igbo. |
Funnily, I don't even know why Egusi is debated when it's glaring it's a Yoruba cuisine. From the name/word, it's Yoruba. Igbo don't even have ẹ in Igbo vowel. Not just this, The whole name is Yoruba etymology which has meaning only in Yoruba language. Thirdly, Egusi has got several delicacy varieties of it by the Yoruba. Egusi oshiki, efo elegusi, egusi alapa, Egusi funfun, elegusi robo etc 💥 it's Orunmila favorite cuisine as a matter of fact. Fourthly, it's meaning is in Yoruba language 📌 I mean anyone claiming it is being funny because it's got Yoruba written all over it. Lol. It was even Ajayi Crowther who introduced several Yoruba delicacies to the Igbo. Some other missionaries also introduced some delicacy to the Igbo. That was how Igbo got their delicacies. All these were done to stop Igbo cannibalism of eating one another in the forest. |
Sctests:Earlier, it was written that Igbo borrowed Egusi from the Yoruba. In fact, an Igbo was part of those people who wrote the article while confirming that Igbo borrowed Egusi from the Yoruba. But suddenly, igbo started claiming it now. Same way Igbo love claiming several other people's territory today. Lol. Anyways, some likes claiming Yoruba invention . Same way someone wanted to claim adire which is Yoruba word. A di re which means to tie and re. Adire, which includes several styles, such as oniko styles which are all Yoruba names (oniko is "di ni koko". Anyways,Egusi is a Yoruba name which has several delicacy varieties of it by the Yoruba. Qed. Also Okra was introduced as okra to the Igbo who couldn't pronounce it thus ended up pronouncing it as okwuru. As a matter of fact, the main reasons why all these delicacies were introduced to the Igbo was because they were found naked in the bush eating one another (human flesh) and leaf. All that were done to civilize the Igbos.
|
Sctests:Egusi is Yoruba name. Qed. Yoruba even has several delicacy varieties of it. It's an Orunmila soup as a matter of fact and it's a Yoruba name with several delicacy varieties of it. Qed. We deal in fact, not stupidity and fallacy. As for okra, Igbo simply called it okwuru because okra was the name introduced to the Igbo. It was introduced to the Igbos as okra but Igbo couldn't pronounce it thus pronunced it as okwurru. |
MrPRevailer:It wasn't stated that it was "burning" but "burned in a furnace" which was to describe how the brass looked. Go get a brain if you can't understand simple statement. Same was also stated in Daniel where it was stated that his feet and arms looked like burnished bronze. I don't even know why you're crying with your head in the mud despite several facts in your face. You saw the fact that Jesus' parents hid him in the previously old black Egypt country. Or the fact that people regarded the Hebrews as Egyptians because they looked like the Egyptians. Heck, the old drawing pictures of the Hebrews recently unearthed are all blacks. Meanwhile, you can see the old terracotta heads of the Hebrews. All these are several facts. Meanwhile, the first human is a black man. So what gibberish are you wailing about exactly? You dey craze? I deal in facts, not in stupidity. |
Alexis11:Lol. Obi who was woeful as a governor yet was projected as a messiah while they forgot that Tinubu was voted because of what he did in Lagos. Such as Increasing Lagos economy at the time OBJ was working against him. While also birthing some projects such as BRT, LFTZ, Eko Atlantic etc.. Heck, Obi admitted that his daughter was employed by Lagos government. Meanwhile, it was Igbo who voted along ethnic line even though Obi was woeful as a governor yet would be the one to play the victim while accusing others over what they actually did as seen below. Same way they played the victim over the civil war which was actually caused by their covetousness and wickedness.

Emlproperties:Ogbon has no meaning in Igbo language. Some says it means drawing however that's not the meaning of drawing/slimy in Igbo. Lol. Besides, Apon is referred to as drawing soup in its Yoruba proverbs, although that's not what Apon means in Yoruba. Yoruba have several drawing soups for example such as ewedu, Ila, akuku etc which are called by several different names, just like Apon has its own name. However, it's a drawing soup. So I understand some Igbo terming it as a drawing soup since Ajayi Crowther introduced Apon as a drawing soup for the Igbo however they couldn't pronunce it well thus pronunced it as Ogbon which they equally term as drawing soup, even though "drawing " in Igbo means nothing like that. |
Emlproperties:I'm not talking about Egusi (Egusi is a Yoruba name btw) but Apon which also has a proverb for it in Yoruba proverbs.. Secondly, Ogbon means nothing in Igbo language. Thirdly, Apon was one of the delicacies introduced by Ajayi Crowther to the Igbos. Ogbon was corrupted from Apon since Igbo couldn't pronunce Apon. |
Emlproperties:Yoruba have Proverbs for it, where it calls it a drawing soup. Apon don't even grow in south east but rainforest. Ogbono means nothing in Igbo language. It's a corruption from the Yoruba Apon. It was Ajayi Crowther who introduced it to the Igbos. |
seunayantokun:Lol. I only stated fact though. Yoruba have Proverbs for Apon soup. Igbo couldn't pronounce Apon thus pronounced it as Ogbon which has no meaning in Igbo language. Funny how some say ogbono means slimy while another says it means boiling. Lol. Meanwhile, slimy and boiling in Igbo language means another thing entirely. Boiling means "esi" for example. Btw, All soups boils, so why don't Igbo call every soup boiling? Lol. And that's not how boiling is pronounced. Ogbon means nothing in Igbo language. It was a corruption from the Yoruba Apon. |
seunayantokun:Exactly. Yoruba have even got proverbs for it. Igbo couldn't pronounce Apon thus pronounced it as Ogbon which has no meaning in Igbo language. |
waternogetememy:See wailing. Egusi is a Yoruba name. An Orunmila soup to be precise. Egusi is a Yoruba word and it's prepared in several delicious delicacy varieties by the Yoruba. Simple as ABC.. |
Gustavowhite:The lie you tell yourself. Gbegiri for example is added to any greeny drawing soup such as ewedu or ila. No way it would be added to stew alone. I just burst your lies. Not surprised.. that's your typical trait. Ewedu is life as you can see below. A Nutritious beautiful delicacy. Meanwhile, Egusi is Yoruba, even as the name implies. In fact, Yoruba have several delicacy varieties of it.
|
Gustavowhite:Oha looks shitty, not ewedu. Take that from me. See beautiful ewedu below. And Egusi is a Yoruba name which has got several varieties as a matter of fact.
|
Couldntfigurean:Says someone whose wicked ancestors killed every other regional leaders except the Igbos. Then ended up playing the victim. |
Couldntfigurean:What Google are you talking about? Several Nigerians work there however Yoruba aren't dishonestly insecure or manipulative to be manipulating fact on Google by bringing up some lying articles to the first search in a bid to suit some lying narrative. Lol.. Meanwhile, Gbegiri and ewedu are delicious Yoruba's soup btw. It's popular among the Yoruba because it's delicious. Point is Egusi is a Yoruba word. Simple as ABC. |
waternogetememy: AmuDimpka:No be only cook. Lol. The lie you tell yourself. Egusi even has several delicacy varieties cooked by the Yoruba to start with. It's Igbo who claim other people's delicacies. Yoruba simply cook their own delicacies which are several, as mentioned below. In fact, Yoruba have got these several delicacies because that was what was required whenever a sick person was brought to an IFA man in the old time. The first thing required was to cook several delicacies for the sick person to eat because it could be hunger that got the person sick in the first place. That was how Yoruba got their several delicacies. Through IFA creative ideas and principles. Egusi which is a Yoruba word is an Orunmila's soup as a matter of fact. Egusi has got several delicious delicacy varieties cooked by the Yoruba. Dsimmer: |
remsonik:Aside alapa, robo elegusi etc, there's even Egusi funfun, Egusi oshiki etc. Yoruba's have several varieties of cooking Egusi as a matter of fact, even as the name egusi is a Yoruba name. |
ReacherSaidNoth: ProphetMohemmad:Lol. It's the manipulation and misappropriation of facts I don't even like. Same way how some of the Igbos keep playing the victim over the civil war but forgot they were the wicked ones who started the whole thing in the first place by killing other regional leaders except the Igbos while they destroyed Nigeria's true Federalism. Not only just that, they wanted to steal other people's territories which weren't theirs after they asked for secession because the North retaliated the killing of their leaders in North by killing every Igbos in the North. Thus the Igbo asked for secession however in their evilness, they wanted to steal other people's territory heritage in addition. That was when the Yoruba joined the war because Yoruba territory was involved in the nonsense. Basically, their wicked nature made them kill other people's leaders while they destroyed Nigeria's true Federalism. Secondly, in their covetousness, they wanted to steal other people's heritage. So why play the victim when you're the evil one to begin with? On the second post, of course ewedu is a delicious lovely soup as seen below. Aside it's delicacy, it's medicinal. On egusi, egusi is a Yoruba soup as its name implies, which is Yoruba name. "Egun si" in Yoruba means to Shred to add. It's an Orunmila's soup as a matter of fact. Igbo don't have much soup to begin with. They were found eating Human flesh and leaves at the time they were found in the forest, thus, food varieties were introduced to them. Most of Igbo few soup today was got from several tribes. Egusi was got from the Yorubas, even as the names implies. As a matter of fact, it's an Orunmila's soup. Also, Apon seeds don't grow in the southeast but rather in the rainforest. No where they could have seen Apon seeds to make ogbon lo. Apon seeds was introduced to them but they couldn't pronounce it, thus pronounced it as ogbon which has no meaning in Igbo language as a matter of fact. "lo" was added which probably means slimy in Igbo language, although it means "to grind" in Yoruba language.. Thus Apon was meant to be grinded "lo", which was later pronounced as ogbon lo by the Igbos. Igbo also copied some soups from SS. That's all. All these were introduced to the Igbos in a bid to civilise the Igbo who were found eating Human flesh. In fact, Ajayi Crowther was part of those who introduced these foods to the Igbos. Naturally, that's Yoruba culture. People who are sick/unwell are first given varieties of food to eat in Yoruba culture. That's the first treatment administered by IFA. And that was exactly what Ajayi Crowther (who's a core Oyo) did for the Igbos at the time, in a bid to stop the cannibal Igbos from eating Human flesh. Igbo got egusi, Apon, Iyan, fufu, Garri, eba etc from the Yorubas. All the names are in Yoruba names.
|
MrPRevailer:Na you no get comprehension na. I simply told you same which is actually the truth. Simple as ABC. So why are you wailing? Brass which had been burned in a furnace is simply to describe how the brass looked. Same was described about the Messiah in Daniel scripture and was even described as a burnished bronze. |

, even as the Hebrew/Jews have got same knot too. Also, Ifa calls the Yoruba Omoluabi which means the children of God. In fact, Ifa's belief is in christianity itself. Ifa believes in one God called Oluwa Olorun Olodumare who's got a begotten child which is his word. That's Christianity.
. What is the point of this claim you cannot backup?
