In the military especially Nigerian Army the superior especially those commissioned officers always get away with their rubbish acts. Actually there's no rule per say that covers that just as it is not written in the constitution not to make calls at military or police checking points. But some rules are invented based on experiences, most times vehicles trying to over take or coming too close to military convoys have bad intentions either to spring attacks or suicide bombing that's why there is restriction to overtake military convoy or making calls at checking point. What you would have done was to roll down you class and give signals to the police at the rear vehicle, they may understand and let you pass. Especially army, most times the army will even tell you to pass because they don't like vehicles lining up behind their vehicles. |

This is one of the effects of crisis, when there is no peace in a region the people there will experience some unusual things. The same method is applied in the North East especially Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States. To say the truth, is not every check point in the South East passengers disembark from their vehicles. Revolution2022:Soldiers complained yes, soldiers won't stop complaining because what they are getting from the government can't be compared to what they face on daily basis. But I will let you make the findings by yourself, as a soldier who is in the army from 2014 till date who is the best COAS and hear what they will say. Ask like 20 different soldiers, come back here and let's discuss. |
