I never said I was a theist or an atheist and you never showed no love by calling people who don’t believe in God mad. It’s not to oshow me scriptures, but do you practice what you just showed? Not yet! You go contrary to what you show. Therefore the wrath of God…………..
Okay, you claim to be neither theist nor atheist, interesting. Would see how that works.

Moving on, you say love because you know not what Love is.

Love Correcteth Sharply when it sees error eg A Fool says there is no God! Which is all I said.

Secondly, no normal person anywhere will see a person putting food through his ear and will not call him 'mad'!

Same as a person saying "enter all the buses and go to Abuja". That person must be mad!

It is normal to call a person mad when we see that he is doing a mad thing. Even you have done so. So you really have nothing reasonable to say.

And you know, Paul did not just only speak of the law but he also mentioned spirituality?
The Bible and The Law is all about spirituality from the beginning to to the end.

1. Thou shalt Love The Lord, thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy Strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

2. “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

Psalm 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
A broken and a contrite heart,
O God, You will not despise

you did actually. Saying a group of people are mad just because they reject your beliefs. If Christian means Christlike then I haven’t seen so many Christlike people since I was born
Reject my belief? You obviously are a closet atheist. This issue is not even about acceptance or rejection of belief but about proper thinking, which I merely pointed out the ridiculousness of his thinking here.

But you have now moved to say what they say when they have nothing valid to say.

You obviously are an anti-God else you would have known 2 Chronicles 19:2

The things that ought to be done are not easily doable.

The Courts are no longer the Courts God gave to men but have become places of unpredictable judgements that are mostly unlawful and unjust.

You are simply illiterate. I will not pursue this further with you.

Your Christianity is a very vacant and confused brand, quite meaningless and shallow.
Good day.
Abuse me all you want, it would not change the fact that you are/were not supposed to pursue this at all.

For eery adult knows that where there is an authority, there will also be people under his rule. A DPO has his police officers under his station, The Major has his soldiers under his command, the C.E.O has his staff under his company. The Judge has the people in his state under his Orders. The President/King/Governor of a State has the people in his territory under his control.

Which is why we have words saying "Prerogative of Mercy, Presidential Pardon, Clemency, Leniency, Appeal, Amnesty etc".

It is unbelievable that you do not not know these things or you feign not to know them.

How do you read? Who do those words override? To say that a prerogative is an overriding or affirmatory authority is simply wrong sir. Because that suggests that there is someone else or something else being overridden or affirmed
This is shocking! Does a person having a special right or privilege not have what we call veto power? When a police man arrests you is it not the DPO who can override that arrest by his special right and privilege?

You ought not be saying this for every adult knows this.

Does God not rule over all men, which is why I said "Forgiveness here is obtainable for a human being has an Oga (God), who he must obey and God too can cancel/overide his failure/inability to forgive."

DeepSight:
This is not necessarily the case. It is simply an exclusive right, period. You don't need to be overriding or affirming anything or anyone. Its just your exclusive right, simple.
A DPO with no officers under him is no different from the begger under the bridge.

DeepSight:
All this is grammar. The facts are that -

1. There is no definition of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, and thus it is meaningless: this is why people struggle with confusing explanations for it, and -
It does not need to be explained or defined. It is sufficient that you know which things are good that you should do and which things are not good and evil that you should not do.

DeepSight:
2. If there is any sin that remains unforgivable by the Christian rendition of God even after genuine repentance and contrition, then that rendition of God is questionable being self-contradictory in terms of being un-christlike.
Question all you want, but it will not change the fact that if and when you offend a Person with great Power eg soldiers or policemen in Nigeria, and if he does not forgive you, you already know that you are big trouble

And no thing contradictory for it is already known that there is a place where sins can never be forgiven and ordinary common sense tells all of us not to go there.

But as we know, people who want to die, will always pursue the things which cause death!

you are again reading the bible upside down, as in verse 20, Saul claimed that he "did obey the Lord" while it is obvious he didnt, since they kept some sheep for themselves (whatever the reason was), same in verse 24 where he blamed his fear of the men for HIS sins... thus why his repentance is useless as he kept lying about something that god ordered him to do.

if you dont believe you did anything wrong then you certainly havent repented....
Then verse 21 clearly shows him admitting that he knows he sinned.

No it does not!

[color=#990000]prerogative

pre·rog·a·tive pri-ˈrä-gə-tiv

: an exclusive or special right, power, or privilege: such as
(1)
: one belonging to an office or an official body
(2)
: one belonging to a person, group, or class of individuals
Did you not see these words? And are these not Overiding Authorities?

DeepSight:
A thing being "very very bad and wicked" is an altogether different proposition from it being absolutely unforgiveable by an eternal God such that the doer of such a deed is irretrievably damned eternally, no matter how contrite or repentant he may become. One would think this idea is terribly at variance with the character and indeed mission of Christ as revealed in the New Testament.

Especially when this said deed is as hazy and ill defined as the so called blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
A thing which is unforgivable must be something which is very very bad and wicked.

And we have seen it even in our natural living that we have often heard what some one did and we all confessed saying "dis thing is very bad o. Ah, dis one is unforgivable"!

And after that, it is up to the offended to either forgive you or not which is what I have said already.

Secondly, it was Christ Himself Who fore-warned, among His Teachings that there is He Who you must not take your business of sinning to.

You also do not appreciate that whether Christ fore+warned us or not, that unfortunate circumstance is already there.

Therefore, it is a goodness that we have already been forewarned!

Exodus 23
20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

... it is clear as day that Saul never took responsibility for his actions and instead try to blame it on someone/something else, while REPENTANCE is to accept that you have failed/sinned, and certainly NOT to blame your sins on others. so no wonder Saul was never "saved".
He at first tried to cover his sins and defended it but verse 14 upwards shows he conceded guilt but it was already too late.

For the beginning of the Chapter 15 clearly shows that God was giving him a last chance but he blew it up with his disobedience.

But I hereby cease from arguing with you and respect whatever course you take.

You did not explicitly state this and even in your response you are still inconsistent.

You cannot say you don't believe God exists and then go ahead to say you hate Him if He exists. It's either you believe God exists or you don't. If you hate God then accept that God exists but if you claim you don't believe God exists then you cannot hate God. This isn't a shrodingher's cat scenario. It is binary.

now here is again what it is written:
John 3:16-17

And verse 19 of John 3

Not will be condemned at his death!

And you keep saying "selfish agenda" when there Is nothing to gain from your living or your dying.

.... anyone can repent on their deathbed, so long as they do it genuinely.
I did not say that you can not try to repent even on your death bed, but would it be accepted by God?

Not likely.

I showed you that Hebrews shows Esau tried to repent, even with hot tears and he was not on his death bed and it did not work.

Well, it is your right to take such a risk!

MrBrownJay1:
the problem here is that you people who followed your holybook all your life (and had to abide by its teaching) are SELFISH INDIVIDUALS who cant accept that someone who didnt follow your holybook can be saved just as you are.
The people of Antioch did not follow the Bible all their lives nor the people at Galatia, Ephesus and Co.

But the profit lies in the fact that we see that it is when they heard it, they responded positively to it.

And I believe many have indeed heard that which was written in the Bible but as we see even here on nairaland, they wilfully vehemently reject and discard it, even while standing against it and resisting it.

... ANY SINNER WHO GENUINELY REPENT; GENUINELY GIVES THEIR LIFE TO CHRIST, CAN BE SAVED... so long as they follow the basic formula needed when seeking the gift of salvation.

have you ever heard of the repentant thief story?
I know it is the thief story you are relying upon and the error you are making is that you do not appreciate the difference between the thief and the people of the world today.

The thief was among the generation of people who met THE WORD OF LIFE in Person and he took THIS HIS FIRST AND LAST OPPORTUNITY TO BE SAVED.

But today, This same Word of Life flows all through the earth and many who refuse to take it, find themselves condemned already.

The same John 3 Warned you (as you conveniently left out verse 18 where you stopped in verse 17) which warned that

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,

Not will be condemned at his death but is condemned already!

Hebrews 2
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, AND EVERY TRANSGRESSION AND DISOBEDIENCE RECEIVED a just recompence of reward
;

3 How shall we escape, IF WE NEGLECT so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

The word is "neglect" or refuse to take up Salvation when it was offered or presented to you, that is when condemnation takes place!

First of all agents of Satan added to the account found in the Bible book of Mark for instance Mark never penned down verse 44, 46 these verses were added Jesus spoke in PARABLES at verse 48. In fact the Bible book of Mark 16 ended at verse 8 not 20.
Thirdly Jesus taught so many things using PARABLES that's why misinformed Churchgoers concluded there's a life after death instead of a resurrection as thought by Jesus!

For further enlightenment check these verses in other Bible versions then come back to tell everyone here what you find there! smiley
So they also added it in

Psalms 9:17
The wicked shall be turned into hell [and] all the nations that forget God.

Or

Psalms 55:15
Let death seize upon them, [and] let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness [is] in their dwellings, [and] among them.

Among many other passages?

3. So you're saying if that event never happens, your Jesus won't come back? If you love him so much, why not facilitate to make the event happen? If he is indeed all powerful, why can't he himself make the event happen? Why waste people's precious time?
