I lost my baby last year June two day before a booked c section because the baby was bridged, and Am pregnant again so I decided to have my baby in the us, and Have not been there before, so I applied for a B2, got a doctor and hospital already. They sent me latter. My question is if the doctor suppose to send the embassy a copy to the latter too.And what am suppose to go with when going for the interview, what question am I to expect. Even though I planned saying the truth.

Hi, Sorry about your loss. But my advise to you is this

Take your time to read through the different parts of this thread. Start from the beginning. Arm yourself with a pen and jotter.

You will see different lists as posted by a lot of pple, with clear details of documents u will need to prepare and visa interview transcripts. Dedicated about 2 days or so. You might not even read parts 1& 2 before you get all the clear details u need

Thanks, i will start this asap. i wrote the test April 29th. Youtube and ielts liz. i didnt really practice the writing, hence the lower score. For the speaking, i could have sworn i did better dan the score but na dem sabi. I started practicing two weeks to the exam.

Take out one hour everyday to practice (one day for each), you can put in more effort over the weekend. i practiced reading and listening more, hence the higher score.

I jotted down the speaking and my younger sister was my examiner. For the listening, i always tried to simulated exam conditions, no rewind, no forward. and i focus on the bit i always got the lowest n tried to address it.

Dats all i did

My friend of 14 years just called me crying and asking me to get her a teaching job cos she is tired of her time consuming job and little baby. We talked about it and we both felt better.
I let her know teaching job isn't moimoi. As a mother, you are bound to feel guilty until proven otherwise.

I totally feel your pain. I consider myself one of those stone cold kind of pple. it takes a lot for me to shed one drop of tear, not to talk of crying. But mehn, i no know when i begin dey weep for office yday.

My younger brother usually helps me pick my daughter up from school or is at home to receive her from the school bus at about 5pm.

Only for him to call me yday dat he will be home late as one of his lecturers fixed an evening tutorial class for 5pm to 7pm. I quickly called the her teacher and the teacher assured me that she will be in school till about quarter to 7 and will take care of her till i picked her up.

My madam for office then called me some minutes to 4 that she has some adhoc work for me. i said no problem, she should go ahead to send it. When i didnt get any email from her, i asked for it at 4pm, den 4:30 again, and she responded she will send it both times. When i didnt get anythg till 5:15, na so i shut down carry my kayah.

When she noticed i was leaving, she was like" dont tell me you are leaving, i thought i told you about some work i need you to work on", i responded, " i thought it wasnt urgent given that you have not sent it yet"

Thats how she said she will send it now and i cant leave. I explained that i need to go pick my daughter from school, and i dont have anyone to get her for me. She said i shld go and look for alternative oo, as she need me in the office.

I just started crying, saying but you are a mother too and while your kids school were in session, you leave this office latest 5:30 to go get them, Agreed that sometimes you take them home and come back to the office, but not all of us have that luxury of leaving very close to the office.

She didnt expect it, neither did i even plan to cry but its all just pent up aggression. Monday through thursday last week, the earliest i left the office was 10:30pm. Friday dat i insisted on closing to go see my daughter, na war.

I am just fed up of the situation. Its so bad that if i get another job with almost 100k less than what i earn i will beg them to employ me

Dtush, may I suggest not splurging too much on the toys? Just a few may do. We have 2 Montessori toys (colour stacking cups and shapes) and to be honest, I'm not sure they helped much. I developed a sort of program and sit her on a stool (though I'm lazy about it) and Daddy helped and so far, she knows her colours, shapes ("Rectangle" is hard for her to pronounce sha), Numbers and only "A, B, C" then skips to "G, H" and other letters. She knows animals and their sounds. And we have started writing (her grip is good, so we are focusing on making the right marks). I think it was more spending time going over with her. And turning as much as possible into a learning experience (she went somewhere and accurately identified a relative's phone as "Pink" and they were treating it like she passed GCE ). We have not started any sort of school o. I'm planning her Music Education next, then we really push Science and Math and Reading.

I think you have to spend some time with your LO to make an impact. I did talk to some teachers and I can send Baby E to a Montessori but she's coming home to be tutored by me. I always had that plan since the age of 20.

Besides my nephews went to posh Montessori-based school (a lot of people don't get Montessori right) and struggled afterwards (very little homework monitoring) and at the end of the day, the best graduating student in their Primary school was a little girl who didn't do never had a lesson teacher but had an awesome Grandmother. And that Grandmother taught me, my siblings, my friends, quite a number of parents in that hall, so no-one was surprised she got Firsts in almost every subject.

(seriously, every father of a hopeful son went to congratulate the parents of that girl. Negotiations are already underway for her )

Thanks for the advise, we do this already, she knows her numbers to 10 and some colors, but instead of getting her normal toys, i would rather get educational ones as she has outgrown her current toys

Since you work on the island you can check out Laterna on Oko Awo street in vi. They have a children's section seperate from the main store with montessori products and it's quite affordable

My in-law, congrats. Abeg how did the total bill amount to 7000. i remember we paid 1800 for doc, 2300 for hospital, 800 for epidural, i paid extra 500 for my false alarm stay in hospital, 500 for NICU and about 500 for pediatric visits a and tests. 80 dollars fro brown n associates, making it all about 6480. my visa will expire soon and i dont want to be saying anythg from other pple dat we used the same hospital

Its not compulsory you av money in a dom account. It shld be you regular bank account (savings or current) or even in an investment dat will mature by the time you are embarking on your trip. Just make sure you av enuf to cover ur expenses as shown in your budget sheet with a little more after that

My girl too was losing hair at the back n sides.
Then she was always having flu.

I got from here that washing daily is not good.
Plus i get flu wen i wash my head always.

Right now i use cantu 4 kids(shampoo n conditioner)....and try to wash every saturday.
I also noticed baby oil isn't good 4 her hair so i went back to coconut oil.
However hubby says i should stop cos sweat n coconut oil dont mix since i wash her hair once a weak.
Am looking 4 hair oil or cream 4 babies to use. Might chevk d cantu stand again

Right now d back is growing again.

I use the cantu 4 Kids range too and my 17 months old babe's hair is longer dan mine. try the LOC method. u dont need too much all

So i mix coconut oil and ori togeda and got the leave in condition ( cantu for kids)

After washing her hair, while still wet, section into four with ur hands and apply a generous amount of leave in condition ( from the root) and just seal in the moisture with the ori and coconut oil mixture.

Try to avoid styles dat are strenuous on her scalp (no attachment). puffs are the way to go.

I make didi ( not more dan 6 or so) for my LO once every month,, which she rocks for a week, and its puffs all the way for the rest of the month. u can follow @munaandluchi on instragram. i learnt some thgs from her page

I read through d program website painstakingly n I saw there s a possibility of a GMAT waiver if ur Gpa is very high n ur undergrad is in line with d program...so I applied for a waiver n attached my transcript with a good case...they replied dat they will look into it...after about a week, they updated my application status to "GMAT waived"...they also replied dat i didn't need to get a supervisor b4 I will b considered, though a supervisor (prof) replied me in 24hrs...God alone did it my brother...he can do same 4 u...jst believe...all d best
