whitecat007: Go and hit your head on the wall, ODE! true lagosians will continue to protect its interest while you Atounrinwas will keep gnashing your teeth in vain. Who asked you not to develop your homeland? It's better you chase out all foreigners from the state so that "lagosians" can go ahead and make it a "mega city" lol. Until then, shut up and appreciate the developement foreigners have brought to the state. AKPA AMU! |
I'm not suprised that this tribalistic posture is coming from a yoruba man. Tribalism is a major component of their DNA. Any state that is not prepared to handle the negative impact of having foreigners in the state, should also not accept the benefits of having foreigners in the state. You cannot allow wealthy foreigners develope your state and at the same time, chase out the poor foreigners. It's either you want foreigners, or you don't! SIMPLE |
Another senseless thing is this-- how can muslims claim to believe that Jesus Christ is a (prophet), yet they don't believe his prophecy and teachings? That's a hell of senselessness and i think you can only find that in Islam. I challenge any muslim to prove me wrong!!! |
codernoni :Seriously, i've prayed that God should de-activate my d.ick... but i also tell myself, it's God himself that created the thing and also the crazy way it functions - especially without my input or consent. So, i think i should leave it that way. lol |
codernoni : |
Pls, are there courses in universities where this projecting stuff is studied? Or books? I'm very much interested in it. tnx |
Yes, i have to ask this question, seeing that muslims themselves profess that Jesus Christ was sent from God (at least he's a prophet in their view). It's only logical that they believe and obey the teachings of (their) prophet. Now, do they believe and obey the teachings of Jesus Christ or not? If yes, why? if not, WHY? |
Typical islamists.... Always looking for commendations, even if by ludicrous "signs", self denials, or even twisting of facts against them, it doesn't matter to them. You don't have to be proud of islam, but the fruits that islam bears and the general reputation it has. You can hide this post as well. |
Some idiots supporting this insane idea.... 1) How does the introduction of N5000 make the naira stronger? 2) How does the delibrate attempt at making the N1 coin extint/irrelevant, or replacing it with N5, N10, e.t.c. stop $1 being compared to N1? Why introduce cashless policy while at the same time reducing the need/benefits of same cashless policy? I suspect this man..., i really do. I think there's more to this than meets the eye. |
So... what people like kobo-junks didn't understand since yesterday about all this budget implementation issue is that - it is senseless to reward the incompetence of a hired worker(project) with more money (extra N100) even when the hired worker has utilised only N56 out of the previous N100 given earlier for the same purpose? Who gave these kind of people visa to travel out sef. People that lack simple management technique and even common sense. Empty barrels really makes the most noise... |
Kobojunkie: Well, what I have been able to gather from all this is that the 2012 budget implementation is actually at less than 14% today, as against the initial 56% that was being thrown around. I did not get to watch the hearing yesterday, so I don't have any further details.Keep making a fool of yourself on NL. I only blame those giving you the attention you seem to crave more than food. |
My dear, you can't be serious with your comment and questions... Did you just say yar'adua and Gej are the culprits? You mean since 1960? I hope i'm are not debating with kids here? mkmyers45: The Culprits are Yar'adua (PBUH) and Gej..also NOI should know better, she aint a baby..Dude what fiscal debt reduction framework do we have at hand to tackle long-term debts? Are you saying cutting cuts of gorvernnent is not feasible? |
chucky234: can you possibly point to a single project that has been completed between the period 2011 and March 2012?.You (and most posters above) should be asking yourselves that question first, and i don't know why you are limiting it to just 2011-2012,.what of past governments? How did they fare with their budgeted projects? Why the special and unusual focus on Gej's administeration? It's getting quite obvious to me that there is more to this than mere criticism. You guys are the same people complaining that NOI did not release all the budgeted monies for "projects", even though we were explaining that NOI is trying to make sure projects are actually being carried out by releasing more funds for projects that have made use of funds earlier released for it. You guys insist more funds should be released even though previously disbursed funds are yet to be accounted for. Now, i don't understand your grouse when more funds are now being sourced seeing that you guys are/were in support of making more funds available. Is this a deliberate attempt at rubbishing any kind of positive news under this administeration or are you guys just senseless? |
This developement is true! There have been improved power supply these last few months in my area (okokomaiko). Thumbs up Gej!!! The "40 laptops" noisemakers can go and die, btw why are they always on NL and complaining about "40 laptops"? Don't you guys have jobs? Maybe we have paid anti- Gej cyber workers here because it's getting ridiculous of them. |
I'm loving this administeration. Suddenly (D Banj), our legislaTHIEVES have become soooooo concerned aHbout the masses. Heheee! Na Wao!!! Na the same Nigeria of since 1960 be this O ga o! The only good and most important news in all this Gej vs NASS matter is that both parties are now checkmating themselves- something i've never witnessed all my life in Nigeria. Gej's administeration is definitely doing something right and different. Carry go Gej!!! |
mehn!!! This op is hillarious. What's all that madness for? OK, you are sooooooooooo interested in infrastructural developement of the nation but did you just wake up recently to realize that this country is in existence? Where have you been all these years during previous administrations? Can you please, dig out information concerning previous administrations, thier approved projects and percentage project execution and preformance? At least, you should have started from there so that we can compare performances of previous governments against this present one because Nigeria was not born yesterday- it was born in the year 1960 and GEJ have not been president since then, just for your information. One last and important thing-- try and employ common sense when next you make an OP. |
And here was i searching elsewhere for the anti-christ... |
This is so... SAD. They could have died of terror even before crashing.... |
^^^^GBAM!!! |
Northern propaganda as usual. Aww, bless the northerners, look at them noble gentlemen working for peace. You would believe all of that only if you are on the periphery. Those in the inner caucus know exactly that the atmosphere is a sharp contrast to what we are being made to believe. Those of us with common sense know that the north has alot to lose if Nigeria ever divides, and you tell me they are holding these meetings to ensure that? Goodness me! BTW, if you are a christian, pray for Jonathan and the christians in Nigeria. This is not a time for relaxation because there are three prominent Nigerians in conjuction with Saudi Arabia (external sponsor) that are giving strong support to boko haram, they are the major root cause of the BH menace. If you are christian and reading this, don't take it lightly as it is a revelation to some of prophets in the non-denominational ministry i attend. From now to at least, three months, pray against every conspiracy to kill the president, especially through his kitchen staff. Let me stop here, this is a time for all christians to be prayerful, or else the plan by the moslems to capture Nigeria and islamize the nation might succeed (God forbid). CHRISTIANS BE PRAYERFUL. |
Goshen360: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, [because] they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn [their] ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 2 timothy 4:3-4 nkjvI fail to see the point in this post or the particular "doctrine" you are refering to: i must be missing something here, possibly a verse in the bible or something... |
kunletiwoo: You yourself knows its not for responsible people apart from the fact that its not biblical.I presume lottery is another form of gambling, promos too so, are all those who involve themselves in it also irresponsible and sinners? |
Was discussing with someone, mentioned betting but he said he is a christian, a pastor so, he doesn't place bets. Also noticed christians have a negative opinion about betting, gambling, e.t.c. So, what's all the negativity towards all these, any bible quotes that goes againt betting and gambling? Or is it just part of religious propaganda? |
Meddler:Your sentiment is not misplaced at all. But look at the conditions for bail, the money would definitely be accepted but the name of the person that fits into that criteria will be of more importance in the context of fighting this menace since boko haram needs sponsors. Bear in mind also that the president has stated that they have sympathizers/sponsors in govt. circles. |
Would love to know those who will bail them. Conditions for bail is just a well structured bait to get the kingpins behind all these brouhaha. |
From bottom, because what u have at the top is just a replica of the wider majority. And in a system whereby majority carries the vote then it is of utmost importance that the majority (who also put the select few at the top), should have attrributes they expect of those at the top. You cannot sow pepper and then expect to reap apples. BTW, if only our church going population can practice what they are being taught, or our parents can raise good, educated children, then this country would be the envy of the world. |
Why should she step down? And for whom? They are all corrupt but some are more corrupt than others. Moreso, she should stay there and complete this PIB project that she's on. Again, if she's a Niger deltan, then no qwalms, let her eat the fruit of her land, afterall, other "foreigners" have chop their own and gone without any question. |
When the devil wants to disgrace someone, he pushes them to do bad things. But, Na wa ooo, See this beautiful woman being royally stitched and messed up. Bad thing no good o! BTW, GEJ is doing somethinng spectacular here despite the fact ppl would love to paint him in different shades of bad colours but to the best of my knowledge, he is sincere in his actions. Although cleasing/ ridding the country of county of corruption would take forever and GEJ has more than enough distractions to achieving his set goals in office within one term only. God help him though. |
GEJ is nnot only fighting against BH, he is, in effect fighting against the entire northern Nigeria. Is anyone still against the notion that all muslims (especially the hausa muslims) are all BH backers? GEJ should transfer police officers of SS/SE origin to head the police command in places like borno where these guys seem to be nutured. |
That Nigerians are clueless as to what they were really agitating for and that majority of them are illiterates. Again, i think Nigerians have learnt never to underestimate or underrate GEJ again. |

O ga o!
