I just started watching orange is the new black couple of weeks ago. You might have even seen some of my mentions on it.
I'm only in episode 7 and I've already given up on it already cos I can't comprehend how a prison life can be so literal, so simple. No struggle, no battle of wits, no battle for survival. I was like, is this even a prison?
All eyes on the white scholar girl who I don't even know finished school.

As far as female themed prison show goes, its Wentworth, Vis Avis ,oitnb in that order
Showing the dark and gritty side of prison..Wentworth is as dark as it gets..
So many solid characters from Bea,to Frankie,and the worst of dem all Ferguson

This is one of the best series ever made, hands down. It is in par with GOT and Breaking Bad and Sopranos. Looking for a series that won't bore u, it is the best out there. Hyping for s4 like crazy

I just finally started Queen of the South today...
It really feels like a telenovela...what's funny is the hypocrites who don't say this about this show... yet call Money Heist a Telenovela...
So far Queen of the South even fits that title way way better...

But to these hypocrites, one is a telenovela cos they speak Spanish but the other is not cos it's in English...


*Edit...I'm not criticizing Queen of the South...cos from trusted reviews it's a good show...that's why I'm watching it sef...
I'm only trying to show the hypocrisy in the hypocrites who tag themselves intellectuals for insulting a good show called Money Heist

Wow..I've really been sleeping since..didn't know that manhunt Unabomber was this good..had it in my system for more than a year now. Just decided to try it out..
Damn its just as good as true detective and mindhunter.

Those ladies were extraordinary. The only thing I hate about the season 3 of Ozark is because of that stupid Marty.
The guy is frigging irritating. Always vexing me.

Ruth was definitely my favourite in that season 3..

She's getting nominated for sure, and I'll say, she's one of the favorites to win her category.

She has been truly phenomenal this season. I think her only obstacle will be from Laura Linney (Wendy) from Ozark.

Exactly laura linney is a true contender..even the supporting actress category,I wonder if its Ruth or Helen that would be nominated... I'm earnestly looking forward to the female categories this year

Yeah of course they did,but Claire Danes has really been consistent over the years..I see her being nominated again this year for the Emmy's.. I think her contenders this year would be from Ozark..those ladies there are fire

Watching Homeland Season 8 :9. Not bad at all, surprised they sustained the suspense even after the death of Nicholas Brody.

Just watched the trailer of penny dreadful.Guys, Is it a good series? It is my kinda series. Supernatural -ish.

Penny dreadful is as dark as it gets..its a good horror watch..Eva green was splendid as expected

It's aimed squarely at adults, mature and serious, no silly bullshit.

Exactly..she tried all her best to save her brother..when it was obvious that he would still Bleep up was when she knew he still bought a phone.
I think going forward,Wendy is going to be a very cold character,cos she also has to play the Helen role in their family..I especially look forward to seeing the role of that pregnant FBI agent..cos like it or not,she and Marty have soft spots for each other

You need to understand something,Wendy didn't just kill cade because he assaulted their daughter,well it was a reason but the deciding factor was that she knew after exhausting that cash,he would still come back and try to blackmail them.. It was something bound to happen..the only solution was to kill him

As in eh, she was just too hungry for power. Wanting more and more and more.

I was really pained when they didn't do anything to help Ruth when she was beaten up.

Marty did what he could for Ruth,he cut ties with the kc mob..was she expecting the byrdes to kill frank jnr? It wasn't good for business if you think about it well.besides the byrdes are no gangstas or mob

Wendy literally signed the death order of his brother, the day she asked him to stay albeit the husband opinion that he should leave.
As Helen said, mental and there line of business don't go together. But strongheadness of Wendy makes her myopic.

Now that Helen is dead, who will be making the tough decisions for the Brydes?? Hopefully Wendy, because they need it. If not for the intervention of Helen, the therapist would have in one way or the other implicated them.

I think going forward we would see a different version of Wendy..a very cold one..now that the children are aware that their mother authorized the killing of their uncle..besides as for killing Ben,it was inevitable.remember what Helen told Wendy that the problem wasn't that he told her daughter,but in the future,he would still tell other people..
If only Wendy had listened to Marty the first time he brought up the idea of putting Ben in a private mental facility that he looked up,but power driven Wendy refused,insisting that she could handle it

I wouldn't blame the Byrde family somuch, it was more like a struggle for survival, season 1 did a good job in showing us how they were forced to join the cartel.

They should have fled after delivering the casino, but the desire for power was too much. I think Wendys ambitions in particular put them in jeopardy.

Funny enough,I was discussing this with someone on twitter about Wendy putting them in jeopardy this 3rd season,they could have easily disappeared to gold coast,but then Wendy became power hungry and don't blame her,its only human..its just like the tale of walter white in breaking bad who initially started with good intentions,but at the end greed,power overtakes us..

Indeed Claire Danes is very deserving of the two Emmys (out of 7 nominations) and two Golden Globes she amassed for her Carrie Mathison role.

I can't think of anyone else that would play a bipolar but brilliant CIA analyst convincingly like her.

A bright future beckons after Homeland.

At first when homeland started,I used to feel it was Brody that held the show..Damien Murphy is an excellent actor,but damn Claire is on another level

Carrie mathison is easily the best female actress on a TV series

The first season was just six episodes and it didn't end well

Its Korean. I almost didn't watch it because I hate Korean drama. They are like low budget, over-dramatic versions of Japanese shows.


But menn.....am I glad that I watched Kingdom. Crazy zombie series.

I think its time Korean TV started getting the accolades it deserves..but kingdom is really good..the finale of season 2 left more questions than answers

Why isn't anyone talking about kingdom.as far as zombie themed series goes,its as good as walking dead,if not better.

I for one love the brutal nature of its zombies... Wow..what a finale to season 2..can't wait
