Actually, if you look at posts that get most likes/upvotes on Nairaland, they are usually sensible posts. HopefulLandlord is right. If you dig deep into reddit and quora, you see all kinds of unserious and disappointing posts.

i never said there was nothing like that after all trolling and bullying are not in any Nigerian language. As for the nairaland likes issue ,there has been multiple times i have come across comments that amassed alot of likes that i had to wonder what kinds of people were on the other end of these monikers . In a forum where sadistic comments are seen as sarcasm and given likes ,i will say that submission of yours is not entirely true.

Go on Reddit and you'd notice the cesspool of posts in certain subreddits. it gets so bad that certain subreddits get banned altogether.
