You're ignorant than I thought. In 2012 Nigerians gathered in Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojoto, built by the Lagos State Government, to protest. The protest went smoothly and the LASG and Lagosians had no problem with it. Why did the President later deplore soldiers there to take it over?

Yet most Nigerians still ask why is Nigeria in disarray. It is because Nigerians had allowed patented foreigners from Niger Republic or Chad or Cameroon such as Muhammed Buhari to lead the country.

believe me ,that woman is a born leader and she is supporting her husband through the thick and thin.many of those making fun of her here have wives who will not even support them with 500 naira at home. This woman has taken the battle to amaechi state ,she is there to make sure her husband wins that state by all means. Amaechi himself knows that whenever pej is around things aren't rosy for him. The combination of pej and wike will make rivers state almost impossible for amaechi to win. All those making fun of her don't know the power this woman wields within pdp and the nation. And she is setting an example for nigerian women to stand up and support their husbands in whatever he is doing regardless of negative comments or negative criticisms. Despite her poor english ,she has risen above her peers that have and had better education and she is an example that with determination you can be whatever u want to be. One thing I have noticed about her is the ferocity and determination she exhibits when it comes to helping and defending her husband.
Only a fool of Nigerian descent will give a finger about her poor English language. She is very natural in her approach.

Ben Gbulie should not join the bandwagon but tell the kids the truth. This is the sort of story we are used to when we are kids, that Hausa's are all illiterates, that at the London constitution conference , Ahmadu Bello and Balewa cannot write their own names and Zik had to hold their hands to write it with them.

That when tea and bread was served them, that they asked Zik whether they should dunk the bread in the tea or eat or eat the bread and drink the tea separately and Zik told them in Hausa while pretending to be praying.
And finally Zik hold the key to the River Niger, if he ever get angry he will turn it off.

By the time Buhari joined the army, teachers in the north were mostly the British and the Igbos. Most of the civil service post were occupied by Ndigbo until the 1966 fracas. The same with the army, it was the Igbos and the Yorubas that dominated the army when the British left. If he now is saying that Buhari got a preferential treatment, so southerners granted him such they could not grand their own people?

This is why I don't and will never believe the workability of one Nigeria, because of all these lies crooked politicians and so called elders tell young kids and they will grow up with them and believing them and it will continue to shape their thoughts. I am sure Its the same they tell them in the north too about us.
The furiousness surrounding the execution of July 29, 1966 coup by the soldiers from northern region of Nigeria was predicated on the fear that most of them would have been discharged from the armed forces. In fact, one of the instigators of January 15, 1966 coup was the scandalous behavior of NPC government especially on the intake composition of the officers cadre of Nigerian armed forces.

So many of them at that.
If Jonathan had transformed Nigeria like he claimed, they will be in school rather than on the street.
The fundamental right to education law,(which awo proposed in the 60's)would have been passed rather than tenure elongation law.
With that law in place, the northern leaders would have no choice but to provide education. If they do not do do, the FG would have the right to provide it and deduct the amount from their allocation.
Regardless of the fact and with this many disaffected youths, Nigeria is sitting on a ticking time bomb
What arrant nonsense. Even Allah cannot transform Nigeria in 20 years talk less a mere human such as Jonathan.

What you are looking at is the "Statement of Results" (which can be released any time on request) duly stamped and certified by the school.

What should really concern you is the copy of the Cambridge WAEC result. The Statement only personalizes Buhari's copy of the original Cambridge result. At least we know the Brits and Cambridge have a tradition of keeping records and any query or investigation could be directed there.
I shall bet my last kobo that Gen M. Buhari did not seat for Cambridge International General certificate of Secondary School Examination. When the clueless so-called General sat for the alleged examination, WASC council has already replaced Cambridge examination.
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by Duru1(m): 6:58pm On Jan 21, 2015
sincerenigerian: This shows Buhari is a man of honor. How can politics blind us to the extent where we question the profession of our military men and women who laid their lives to make Nigeria a sovereign country? Jonathan and his gangs have politicized the Nigerian military to the extent that politics is now the order of the day. This release of result should now put everything to bed.

Lest I forgot, Buhari was a student and a graduate of prestigious military colleges in UK, India, and USA. The man (Buhari) did not even list any of these feats in his quest for the position of presidency. That shows the humility of the man. If I were Buhari, I wouldn't hesitate to list my certificate from those three oversees military colleges. From my own understanding, Buhari never took this thing seriously because from the onset, he has always believed PDP and Jonathan are only up to mischief.

The question now is: why would anyone think Buhari was admitted into these oversees prestigious military colleges without graduating from secondary school? Any right thinking person should know that it is not possible to get into those prestigious schools without graduating from secondary school. Why would anyone call our military institution into question for the admittance of Buhari into military service? It is now obvious that Jonathan and his crew are only interested in ridiculing the general when they asked the military officer who addressed press conference yesterday to go public. Only the court is vested with such power.

Buhari is more than qualify to vie for the seat of presidency. He has satisfied the academic requirement for that position. Buhari will become the president by February 15. Buhari will reposition our military again and make it a professional military force that they were known for until about ten years ago.
The answer to some of the questions you raised in the above post rested on the nepotistic attitude of NPC government of Nigeria and British looking the other way. The coup of July 29, 1966 was highly motivated by the fear that most officers from northern region of Nigeria will be kicked out of armed forces because of qualification or lack thereof.

My elder sister who was born IN THE 70s did not write NECO because NECO was created by former Head of State Abdulsalami Abubakar in April 1999.

Please kindly take a look at this result and you will realise how fraudulent these guys are. This is forgery....This is FAKE.

Was there anything like NECO in 1961? Is this how Buhari looks like in 1961?

NECO was formed in 1999. This certificate also bears WASSCE which was WASC until it was changed to WASSCE in 1998. During his age, such exams were not conducted in May/June...I mean in the 60s. WAEC School Certificate exams used to take place in November/December until 1973. And again there was nothing like SSCE back then. Also, our great general is quoting Katsina state; please do when was Katsina state created?

The is FORGERY. This is PEGURY.. This is FAKE.
Now if you sight the forged Buhari cert, there is NECO on it and also WAEC exams were not taken at may/june.

The posted result is a bad attempt at forgery. Nigerian secondary school system by then terminated at Class five not Class Six as this crap indicated. Only elementary school system ended in Standard Six. By the way, HSC carried only three subjects. Are Nigerians this dumb?

Earlier this week, Ayo Fayose sponsored a controversial advert in Nigerian Newspapers, notably front-page of Punch (check it here if you missed it). The advert generated a lot of buzz in the media, PDP was quick to disown the advert while Fayose maintained that he has no apology for the advert.

Well, seems the advert fund is not exhausted. The Governor today sponsored another ad-set, taking a shot at General Muhammadu Buhari. In the advert as seen on page 9. of the Punch; he emphasized that Buhari is too old to be President at 72.

Buhari is too old to be President at 72 Even APS Governor Raji Fashola admits the need for youthfulness in governance. Fashola has said, "When I took this job at the age of 44, I was counting the number of white hair on my head. Today at 52, I am counting the number of black hair on my head. "You see, this job is a tough job, you need youthfulness to do this job"

Politics › Re: Those Seeking To Destroy Buhari Might End Destroying The Military-APC by Duru1(m): 6:13pm On Jan 21, 2015
Monimatic:
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned that those who are bent on destroying its Presidential Candidate, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on the basis of his certificates may end up destroying the country’s military. In a statement issued in Lagos on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party warned that the PDP and the Jonathan Administration are playing a dangerous game by trying to compromise the military in order to satisfy selfish political objectives, and urged the military, as a symbol of national unity, to beware of those who may be seeking to use it to achieve selfish and divise ends. It said the statement credited to the Nigerian Army Director, Army Public Relations, Brig-Gen. Olajide Olaleye, at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, that the Army is not in possession of Gen. Buhari’s certificates, is in direct conflict with what he said on Jan. 4th 2015 on the same issue. ”In an interview with the Punch on Jan. 4th 2015, Brig.-Gen. Olaleye said: ‘Every serving and retired Army officer has at least a copy of his certficates and credentials kept in the Nigerian Army while that same serving and retired officer has copies of those same certificates and credentials’. ”Is Brig.-Gen. Olaleye now saying that he did not make that statement? If he did, what has happened between then and now to make him to recant? It will be interesting to know what has transpired between then and now,” APC said. But more worrisome, the party said, is the statement credited to Brig.-Gen. Olaleye that there was no evidence that the certificates of all those who joined the army in the early 1960s were verified by the selection board. ”Is he now saying that all those who were commissioned into the officer cadres in the 1960s did not have their certificates verified? Does this not confirm what we said that in trying to destroy Gen. Buhari, the PDP and the Jonathan Administration will end up destroying the army as an institution? Or is it only Gen. Buhari that was commissioned into the army in the 1960s,” it said. The party also quoted Gen. Buhari as saying in an affidavit on 24/11/2014 that ”All my academic qualifications documents as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015 are currently with the Secretary Military Board as at the time of this affidavit.” ”Those who are behind the latest controversy should now tell Nigerians what happened to Gen. Buhari’s certificates between the time of his affidavit and now,” it said. APC said in any case, even if the Army now says it does not have the certificates of Gen. Buhari, he is still very qualified to run for the country’s highest office, as stipulated by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The party quoted Section 131 (d) of the Constitution: ”A person shall be qualified for election to the office of President if he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent” APC said the meaning and interpretation of ”School Certificate level or its equivalent can be found in the Constitution under part IV, Section 318. In that Section, a ”School Certificate or ot equivalent” is defined quite succinctly thus: (a) A Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, Grade II Teacher’s Certificate, the City and Guilds Certificate; or (b) Education up to Secondary School Certificate Level; or (c) Primary Six School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent. The party said since Brig.-Gen. Olaleye has now confirmed that Gen. Buhari indeed applied to join the Army from form six, that the principal of the school he attended even attested to his suitability, and that the form he filled contained his Secondary School Certificate results, there is no scintilla of doubt about his qualification to run for president as stipulated by the Constitution. ”However, we know that the PDP and the Jonathan Administration have constituted themselves into a court of law and will like nothing more than the disqualification of our candidate so they will face no challenge in next month’s election. This is wishful thinking,” it said. APC said the PDP and the Jonathan Administration should expend their energy on how to revive their floundering campaign instead of seeking the disqualification of its (APC) candidate. On the contradictions in the statements credited to the Army spokesman, the party said: ”It is true that our once globally-respected military has now been made comatose by the PDP-led Federal Government, but we believe things have not reached the level where the same military will be engaging in actions that amount to self destruction, just to satisfy some political interests. ”We believe things have not reached a level where we, as a nation, will now be giving the impression that a man who rose to become a Major-General in the Nigerian Army does not have requisite qualifications? ”What really is happening in our country if some politicians have now decided to engage in an action that will amount to dragging the military into politics, dividing an institution that is a symbol of national unity, trivializing the service of those who fought to keep Nigeria one and ridiculing the same country it is supposed to be ruling? ”We have said it before and will like to repeat: Enough is enough about this distraction orchestrated by the PDP and the Jonathan Administration whose electioneering campaign for next month’s polls has suffered a train wreck,” the party said.

APC is made-up by bunch of nitwits. Nigerian army was destroyed on July 29, 1966. This bunch of fools is the reason Nigeria can never see a day of quality progress.

"And please permit me to be even more candid. Outrage at Western media is so shockingly simplistic and useless because it distracts our attention from the thieving potbelly political elite in Nigeria who are complicit in this massacre and who have little regard for the lives lost.

Because while you are tweeting your outrage about the lack of coverage, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, a proven good-for-nothing slowpoke, has not said a word about it and is busy posting party photos on Facebook. While you simmer in anger about the massacre in Baga not being front page news on CNN, the good-for-nothing slowpoke sent a statement of condolences to France, calling the attack on Charlie Hebdo dastardly. He joins members of his cabinet and other African political elites who have kept quiet about the Baga massacre but have sent similar messages of solidarity to France. Six African heads of state actually made it to Paris to stand in solidarity with France.

Further, from Al Ahram in Egypt to the Vanguard in Nigeria to the East African in Kenya, the leading newspapers also do not seem to want to concern themselves with this African tragedy. It seems that the African elite haven't gotten the memo that #BlackLivesMatter.

And in a country where Charlie Hebdo is every day, a country in a constant state of trauma, a nation paralyzed by tragedies big and small, there are no scenes of mass mobilizations, condemnations or mass showings of solidarity. Why?

Because my people are tired. Because they understand all too well that those charged with protecting and serving them have no regard for their humanity.

Consequently, focusing indignation on Western media and not at Aso Rock and those in Abuja who continually demean and degrade Nigerian lives is naïve and does great disservice to the victims of Baga. Because unless we collectively and continuously focus our just and righteous rage at Abuja and root our analysis and critique against the Nigerian government who have allowed the spread of this scourge, the killings and massacres will only continue with impunity."

Abagworo:
The Rochas Campaign Organization (RCO) sincerely
wants to thank immensely the patriotic citizens of
the State especially of the Peoples Democratic
Party, PDP, extraction for heavily boycotting the
party’s rally last Saturday in Owerri. It was a good
development that Imo people mostly the PDP
members expected to be at the rally stayed away
because the party has shown that it has nothing to
offer to Imo people.
We want to also appreciate leaders of the party
especially Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, former
Governor of the State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, Chief
Arthur Nzeribe and a host of other leaders of the
party who also stayed away from the poorly
attended rally.
From all indications, Imo people, irrespective of
their political affiliations appear more united now
to tame the deceit of the PDP and must have also
decided to call a spade a spade by resisting, in any
way they can, further let-down by the PDP,
otherwise there would not have been any other
reason why only half of the stadium was occupied
by guests in a rally the president of the country
was in attendance.
It was gathered that the majority of those who
formed the scanty crowd at the stadium were the
ones imported from Bayelsa and Abia States,
because the buses dispatched to Enugu, Anambra
and Ebonyi States to bring people came back to
Owerri empty.
It is also important at this stage to advice the
chieftains of the PDP in the state to drop this
lingering mentality of using armed people to
intimidate and harass our people whenever they
have function in the state. They should also stop
the provoking practice of blocking all the major
roads in Owerri whenever they also have any
ceremony.
The PDP as a party and its leaders were fond of
doing all these annoying things when they were in
power for twelve years. And one had expected
them to drop such practices haven been out of
power for almost four years now. But they are still
in the business of exercising undue bravados
associated with power.
The PDP leaders in the State should drop pride
and begin to follow the examples of Governor
Rochas Okorocha who had more than one million
Imolites gathering in Owerri, the previous Monday
to celebrate him, yet no road was blocked by
armed security personnel and nobody was
harassed and no market was closed.
We thank Imo people for strongly believing in
Owelle and his Rescue Mission administration.

Sam Onwuemeodo

Three Nigerians, alleged to be fighting alongside the soldiers of the ousted Libyan leader, Col. Muamar Gaddafi, have been killed by the National Transitional Council fighters close to Sirte, the ousted leader’s hometown.

Spain-based Hamada Radio International monitored in Kaduna on Monday listed the three Nigerians killed as 33-year-old Ugochukwu Okafor; Emeka Aloysius Mohammed, 33; and Braimoh Robinson Garba, 30.

The report also claimed that the Nigerian Union in Libya alleged that the Nigerian government had abondoned its consular responsibility to evacuate stranded Nigerians in the war-torn North African country.

The report said, “Some of the Nigerians were shown on a BBC programme presented by Zainab Bedawi over the weekend. Despite the recognition given the NTC by President Goodluck Jonathan, Nigerians and other black Africans have been subject of attack by the rebel forces.

“An NTC source said the hostility against Nigerians might not be unconnected with the belief that Gaddafi’s followers are being sheltered in Kano and some Northern Nigerian cities.

“The most recent case was the arrival of family members of the former Libyan Ambassador to Nigeria, late Mohammed Sherrefedeen, who held both Libyan and Nigerian nationality and was a fluent Hausa speaker.”
