Ezyp: For your first question, you got no issues...Show the admission letter and enrollment cert if they ask and you are good to go.
for your second question, I wonder where you read that one must head directly to the sch before you branch... Bro you can branch (but I will advice not to stay too long because of city registration). Also the person should have in mind his enrollment deadline because some schs require you enroll in person. Thank you sir, Maybe I didn't get the second concern right. I just discovered that the advice is for those who got Visa to school A but planned to go to school B not flight booking. |

Hello my good e-fam, I applied for Visa interview since Last year for winter semester. My document is still at the embassy. The foreign office responded to my last mail that embassy will soon contact me. My problem is that the semester will end this week. Though the school said I can transfer some credits. Will I have issue at German immigration on arrival as they may say that the semester is over? Will my last year enrollment be accepted or they will need additional document?
Secondly, my supervisor in the office got a Visa for PhD in Berlin but I noticed that the flight she booked is Dusseldorf instead of Berlin. She said her in law lives there and she wants to spend some time before heading to Berlin. Will that not cause problem for her?
I don't know if I read correctly, some people say you should just head directly to school before branching. I was telling her she should have booked to Berlin and use train to Dusseldorf. What do you guys think?
Please no vex if the question is childish Cc: honourableseyi. Cc: Eke40seven Cc: justwise Haybaby |

luckyzeeto: Embassy do accept mawista ,is not monthly basis bro, check their forms on their website. I have my insurance being run from Nigeria till here,it depends on the term you want on your insurance. You are the one to specify the speculated time u want ur insurance to be run. Thanks |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Dutch2018: 9:36pm On Dec 02, 2018 |
luckyzeeto: U mean coracle insurance?is ok but i will recommend mawista for u,cheaper and efficient, u can used it to get ur visa from Nigeria without paying and for enrollment also here. Choose the one that is convenient for u. Do embassy accept mawista when they request for travel health insurance? Mawista usually issue insurance on monthly basis but embassy demands either 3 or 6 months travel health insurance. |

lexdino: Guys please help me out here. Uni-assist asked for a certified copy of my University Entrance Certificate to be mailed along with my signed application letter to their address in Germany. Today, I went to WAEC office here in Benin city to get a certified copy of my WAEC certificate but the WAEC officials I met were telling me that WAEC doesn't certify copies of their issued certificates. They said waec can only send a transcript of my result directly to the university that I am applying to.
I am a bit confused now. I thought the meaning of the "certified copy" that uni-assist demands was a photocopy of my original WAEC certificate that has been verified by WAEC to be in synch with the original copy I don't know why we have refused to read. Read from page 1 till date so that you learn the process. It worth the effort. If you refuse to read, you might end up with more mistakes. My 1kobo advice sha. |

Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Dutch2018: 8:31pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
pompido: Yes, the visa will be issued. If the AM mail states to bring passport and insurance, that is all they need to issue visa whether or not BA confirmation or SL was provided. Why or what criteria they use for this is unknown, it just happens. As said, there will be no issuance of residence permit in Germany without SL or BA so that condition still needs to be met.
The Consulate in Nigeria states that visa application response takes 6-8 weeks so I really am at a loss as to why most of you are stressed about no response after 4 weeks! Yes, they do respond in less time and sometimes in a few days depending on whatever criteria they use but the norm is to wait till the said time before fretting.
I know enrollment deadlines and lack of early interview appointments make things harder but sometimes it is just profitable to watch and pray! Thanks |

dailydolar: nor true sir Explain where I am wrong pls. Why I said so is that some people without BA confirmation where issued AM and was told to submit their passport, insurance and BA confirmation. Are you saying that in that case, if you submit passport and travel insurance then you will get your visa? |

luckyzeeto: I was only asking so that people will know the implication that is there to receive AM without funding or SL, we are here to learn oga ade Understand that AM is NOT a Visa. It simply means Approval Mail (that is, your visa application is successful) If you don't provide financial means, then your passport will not stamped. |

Please I want to ask those who have successfully landed in DE.
Is it cheaper to shop for things like laptop, cooking utensils, and clothes here in Nigeria before coming?
I'm just weighing the 2 options so that I can reduce load and go with mainly food stuffs.
Lastly, please share the most popular online shopping websites you guys use there. |

During interview, VO asked if I have relative in Germany and I said NO. She asked if I have friend and I said YES I have a friend in the city I am heading to (she only typed the city's name without asking the person's name and how we knew). This is the truth, but I kept wondering if that might affect me as I may be misunderstood. The interview is simple but this has been my major concern. |
