You are an investor, not someone who can predict the future. Base your decisions on real facts and analysis rather than risky, speculative forecasts.

Information is a necessary tool for informed decision making, when you are armed with the right information, you will likely make a good decision as it affects your portfolio. The bulk of course lies on individual table.
sellydion:
Does market fall means the company you bought has fallen?

in the little words of @onegentleguy. Mr Time will tell.

If you have bought good company below the fair value, I don't think

you will have a lot of issues at hands. You can still sell. And make some handsome profits.

The problem here is this, whoever did this analysis can do well to follow through the plan, bbnaija is the brain work of someone/people who articulated and worked on this idea and today it's a huge success though it may not appeal to all, now ideas create wealth, impacts and rule the world if it is put to work, all I can say is if the person who ran the analysis can put that idea to work, he will be celebrated.

Sirs', God bless for this opinion. I asked some questions yesterday about CBN transparent policy in terms of FX policy but message was transformed as a mere opinion. I have so many concerns about this CBN...their defense of Naira is well understood but not justified when compared with what's at stake. We are going to loose more at the long run when electioneering period start approaching. As i said once again, so many scrupulous and detailed information about foreign exchange policy are still missing with both fiscal and monetary policy bodies in Nigeria. What happened if CBN has no $$$$ to supply to the market againhuh

Question for everyone!!!
Just some salient points worth mentioning, CBN has been supplying Dangote refinery with forex, that refinery which is expected to come on stream next year is pivotal to reducing the demand for dollars, more than 60% of our forex expenditure is on importation of crude oil products-PMS specifically, Dangote refinery will effectively banish it as we wouldn't need to import anymore or reduce importation substantially, this will free up forex or other purposes. Now if the price of crude oil hover above $50 through out the year, which is above the budget benchmark ($48) CBN will have some dollars to intervene in the market at least to control the dollar surge in the parallel market until next year when Dangote refinery comes on stream. In between, the economy is already coming out of recession, FDI may just increase marginally. That's a strategy for CBN.

Taking all in all, while we hedge against the Naira consider the ifs, it may not stack up in our favour.

Money matters ain't a joke bro, those deals are well calculated risk and nothing short of cult ideals to be honest. Between you know how losing money on NSE looks like, you feel like a fool but then this NSE can make even wise decision look stupid. My stance is go for what works at the moment.

Current unpredictability of the NSE has made it an unsure bet.
Otherwise, one would imagine that with Zenith's better returns of N1.77 kobo per share dividend at a share price less than N15, the market will drive Zenith up.
I won't be surprised if GTB resists the beating it deserves.
Nestlé comes to mind.
Who wouldn't want to get upto #3 as dividend selling GTB and buying Zenith (GTB SP = #25.87 equivalent to 2 unit Zenith @ 14.59). I believe Zenith will push a rally from dividend seekers, but then the wonderment of NSE and GTB sentiments can hold sway.

She just got born again and has decided she's not about that fornicating life anymore.

She can't force you to be in the same spiritual level as she is and it won't be fair for her to remain in the relationship denying you sex if you are not ready to come on board the Christian relationship.

Move on with your life to another female who is about the fornicating life.

It sure pays to know Jesus.
God bless you dear.

There is pre-market offer on Morgan Itrade now. But people will never learn sha. What is the 4 units, 35 units bid and sell I am seeing.
what I know is this, from 9.30am - 10.00am traders can log in trades which is part of pre-market, from 10-15am, no trades goes through to the exchange, in fact it is rejected outrightly. Market officially opens by 10.15am, stockbroking softwares from different vendors handle this differently, so it is not a crime to place trades during these times as the software( trading machine) has been programmed to handle it.

Please whats their commission for WSTC, i.e. buying and selling
its high though, 1.35 on both but you can negotiate the commission down if you command high volume, they usually consider HNIs and institunioal investors.

FINALLY, MORGAN IS BACK.
The saying that you don't value what you have until you loose it holds true for Morgan itrade.

Having said that, they desperately need to improve on their customer care services. I think traders in this forum can help them too. Let's send them mails demanding an improvement in their services not that we are obliged to but out of necessity. My two cents.

I use Morgan itrade and wstc-etrader- very good also betters Morgan itrade in my opinion.

what you are saying is i should buy at least 1,000 units of all the companies in their list and process it at once to avoid contacting them again......if i speak you mind......i want to say a big thank you to you but if not,pls kindly clarify further.
Oh, you don't need to buy a 1000 unit except you want to own those stocks and it mustn't be a 1000 unit, just thick the stocks you have already, it is an automated process, the registrars have a record of all the stocks you have. You cannot process E- mandate form for a stock you don't have as it will be verified by the registrars.

Also let me add that if you have outstanding dividend to collect, you will need to write a letter telling your registrar to pay your outstanding dividends to your mandated bank acc. Note that if they have posted the dividend to your address and you didn't get it, you will have to wait 6 months before you can re-apply and your mandated bank account will be credited with your dividend.

House,As i have started processing my e-dividend mandate with various Registrars that are responsible for the companies i own their shares,i have just this question to ask to enable me do all at once............for example,if i have ucap now and indicated ucap in the form,if the e-dividend is processed and i later buy Afriprud shares which i didnt have when i bought ucap and is also control by the same registrar, will i need to fill another form again or the e-dividend works for all companies under the control of the Registrar once activated.i am asking this because there is a place in the form requesting one to thick the companies they own shares.i hope someone is getting my question?tnx
You will have to if you didn't process the E-mandate form earlier. Each registrar have a group of stocks they manage. For cardinal stone for instance you can thick all the stocks you have and process the E-mandate at once.

Cardinalatone do not need banker's confirmation and most registrars don't ask for it. The only time they do is if your signature is not regular. VERY important to avoid the stress of going to the bank to process your signature confirmation kindly make sure your signature is regular i.e the same signature you used for your banks should be used when signing those forms. Then make sure you follow up with emails, pester them if possible until they confirm to you that it has been processed. All the best!

House, pls i need a an info from smart ones having an idea of how to process e-dividend faster.........it takes my brokers about two months to process e-dividend mandate and i dont like it...........i need help now i want to invest for dividend returns rather than smart trading........ thanks as i look forward to hearing from you guys.
The fastest way is to do it yourself, download or request the form from your broker ( stanbic has all the forms on their website). Fill the form and get your bank to stamp it, then take it to the registrar, all these can be done in one day. Your registrar will request you to wait for about two weeks before your bank account will be credited with your outstanding dividends if any otherwise you can process everything in one day.

Stockbrokers take a Lil longer because they love processing e-mandate forms in bulk which may delay the process.

Note that banks also process e-mandate, but they ain't hands on yet. They will want you to allow them process it for you, you may have to insist you want them to stamp your form only so that you can proceed to your registrar.
