Moh247: Na our money jare ... But then 375k people voted APC and PDP won with just 35,000 votes ... So game on ... APC as Senators and house members This one that you've been shouting "just 35,000 votes" since forever like this, hope you know that there's no local government in that election with the whole of the accredited voters up to that number?? It's like saying that a whole local government decided to vote in just Adeleke alone, that's how large and significant the difference is. |

Lindajames1010: Bro which year did u serve in enugu? And how was ur experience there? I mean cost of living. How were u able to cope? I have been posted there presently, but yet to been given PPA. Can u Suggest any good place for PPA? 2020/2021 batch A Corp member. I had a good service year there o, I was posted to Udi local government. I'm mostly indoors so I didn't have any problem with being away from the state capital o. I was told by a friend that living in Enugu city is quite expensive, in fact I only come to the state capital whenever I want to patronize ShopRite. Also, water was a big issue too o, you'll be buying water to do everything you need water for, except if you're able to sort that out. I lived in the corper's lodge, hence I had little problem concerning getting water. |

I pray Adeleke have good knowledge to Govern dat state. If Adeleke fails to sort out the mess Osun indigenes are in, they'll boot him out too. |

Emir01: Aregbesola is stone hearted person not a good leader as we thought. You don't over fight in this game of politics. In politics you win some nd loose some. He distracted Oyetola too much even b4 party primary. We will remind him in d future. I never saw Aregbe as a leader material honestly, people massively followed him in the 2007 governorship election here thinking that he's the solution to Osun state's leadership problem. He disappointed everyone following him, even those of us not really convinced about him from the onset he disappointed us join in his second tenure. I'm still waiting for his followers to rationalize the thought that brought the messing up of schools and wasting the state resources in Osun during Aregbe's tenure, it was not an informed decision at all. He wasted valuable state resources to close down some schools and merge different schools together, he also went ahead and made new school uniform too. I'm still looking for how the educational sector in Osun state benefited from that horrendous act. Another area I'm still looking for closure/clarity is on how he desecrated the state finances before he left the government house, incoming governors are in for one hell of a ride mate. I can go on and on and on concerning Aregbe's misrule. |

mrvitalis: Firstly say what you know ...Enugu water board still functions , imo still functions ...but the reality is it's far more economical to dig a borehole down south ...it's cheaper 80k to 400k ..and you won't spend more than 5k per year for pumping water Abeg what part of Enugu o? Cos I served in Enugu state, Udi local government and getting water was a huge problem there. In fact, it was the Catholic Church near the Udi local government Secretariat that was helping the members of the local government around the area with water. Like the whole area will assemble at their mission house to get water, the church even went further as to supply the corper's lodge with water on selected days too. And for your info, I was initially posted to Akpakwume village in Udi local government before I relocated to the main part of town. Pipe borne water provided by government ke, where you wan see am during the time I was there. |

Odin13: Don’t know
Osun used to have .. under Akande .. don’t know if it’s functional
Truly the East makes governance difficult.. even their governors are confused .. The last time I saw a tangible effort been made towards making pipeborne water available to the indigenes of Osun state was during Oyinlola era as far back as 2005/2006 or so. I don't know about any effort made by Aregbesola during his tenure sef. We don't have water problem around here sha, as almost every home either have a well or borehole. |

TheOgaBoss: areghe as gov did the dirty work for him, without areghe it would have been difficult. If Aregbe-rascal did not misrule Osun and desecrated the state treasury then Oyetola wouldn't need any dirty work to become the governor-elect in 2018. By the way, lemme correct your notion, the dirty work that brought in Oyetola as the governor was done by Senator Omisore and co. Omisore was rewarded for this with various incentives. He was under investigation by EFCC or so and had his passport ceized, suddenly the case got withdrawn and he was also appointed as the national secretary of APC even though he was not an APC member as at that 2018. Thinkabout it comrade. |

Zico5: Aregbesola is a bastard. He destroyed Osun totally with his maladministration. Oyetola really tried in clearing some of his mess when he was a governor. The accumulated debt he incurred during his government is still their for generation unborn to clear. His secret will surely come to light very soon. A foolish man indeed A nonentity has been trying without success to paint Aregbe-rascal in positive light since morning. The same Aregbe-rascal that plunged Osun state into financial crisis. APC lost the last governorship election and they use technicality to bastardize the electoral process in that election. They even have to employ the help of their already acclaimed criminals like Omisore and co to secure their fraudulent victory. Enough to the suffering. |

Apc has been a monumental failure but Bubu has given him a good path to avoid burying his face in shame by giving Osun free and fair elections and that is what that thing has been posting upandan. Ask him to talk about security, education, poverty, etc that the masses are suffering and he will suddenly go dumb. Jonathan lost and conceded defeat too, I guess Jonathan is also blameless because he did that. Well according to the Griller-man's warped logic. |

Tareq1105: Electronic Voting should be used for midterm elections. The aim is not to remove them but just a warning or vote of confidence on their performance. A kind of wake up call. INEC should be able to do that to further help our democracy. It doesn't cost anything. It's an electronic platform. No paper work, no payment of personnel. Good idea, but then the Nigerian system can turn any working and simple formula into something wey we the citizens no know. A country as big this nation still relying on analog documentation and paperwork when we could have gone digital years ago, no reliable electronic-database till date. We are in dire need of citizens willing to serve and not those after the state coffers. |

Johnrake69: God fatherism will be checkmated with the current Electoral act.
The only challenge for Nigerians is how to counter vote buying and selling. Because this is the last resort for desperate politicians. Immediately the result is uploaded to the Inec server then it's done deal.
More effort is needed to sensitise people against the ills of selling their votes. The should be involved on electoral processes which doesn't just end at the polling units but also follow through with government programs.
The next point of call for our legislator's is to demystify the process of calling back an elected officials. We don't have to wait through out 4years before we can recall an elected official not serving our interest. With these everyone will sit up. It's no more business as usual I love the ideology behind your last submission. You're referring to having midterm elections right? It's a good idea, but is expensive to maintain if it involves the electorates going to the poll again o. |

Throwback: You are yet to govern after your victory in a rural state, you are already casting aspersions at a Governor of a megalopolis who is delivering?
It would have been better if it was Davido's father that contested on behalf of the family after the late Isiaka Adeleke who was also Governor.
Ade the dancer is that blacksheep of the family who was idling away while his brothers were building on the legacy of their father who was Senator in the 2nd Republic.
Honestly, many of us across the different political parties know that this Dunce is empty upstairs and cannot amount to anything inspiring. He only has his family name to thank and the lack of political interest by the more worthy Deji Adeleke - Davido's father.
I hope the people of Osun can dance very well because they have a long dance ahead of them till 2026.
I do not expect Ade the dancer to outshine his musician son B-Red in their dull capacity to their respective vocations. You're still rolling in pains and frustration. That so called dunce was voted in and your Messiah voted out by Osun indigenes. That is to tell you how bad the situation of things have become in Osun state. |

There's no local government in Osun state with it's accredited voters up to 35,000. That should tell you how disappointed and fed up we are with this current evil set of beings in the government house. An incumbent governor lost to a so called laughing stock with that kinda wide margin. By the way the actual difference between the votes is 29,455. For a state like, that's a whole lots of votes o. Moh247:

It's easier to succeed in life with the right families and friends
The Adeleke family have been pulling each other up like a true family regardless of their differences
As an unapologetic commited APC and stuanch Tinubu fan,. I must say the Adeleke win in Osun is truly well deserved and inspirational unlike Oyetola , Aregbesola and Omisore that went into battle with disunity
Isiaka Adeleke sherubawon was one of the few people that fought for Osun State creation and he was the first civilian Governor, again he was among the hero's of June 12, when he died his people rewarded his brother with the Senatorial seat
Ademola Adeleke lost 2018 Election by less than mere 500 votes based on INEC laws technicalities, Lack of Basic Educational Certificate and inexperience...
Adeleke took his loss with resilience and went back to school to get an associate degree in US,he gave many poor Osun indegenes scholarship in AU, he came back to contest a better man and won with over 35,000 votes over an incumbent
. Wait, is this not the same guy that was spiting fire and brimestone on that thread last night? You've been humbled now sha, abeg follow your Oyetola back to Iragbiji o. |
