It's been solved, the issue was with me, my MTN sim was switched off, as for how it happened, I have no idea. It was when I tried to make call, my phone prompted me my MTN sim is switched off, do I want to turn it on? When I selected yes, network came back on.
By the way, Nairaland forum is very disappointing 😞 with the number of members it claimed to have, a thread like this would have several response with people saying that their MTN sim is working or not, enabling to know whether the issue is with me or not.
I am starting to reconsider maybe social media where people comment on post because it was posted by someone who is their friend, may be a better platform, cause it seems to be more interactive than Nairaland forum where people choose to comment on thread based on whether it will become popular. |

Politics › Re: Interim Government: Osinbajo's View On Parallel Govt In 2015 (video) by dyera(m): 4:31pm On Apr 07, 2023 |
Rebuker: Meanwhile, let's educate ourselves a little on the terms: Parallel Government and Interim Government.
An interim government and a parallel government are two different types of governmental structures that can arise in certain circumstances.
An interim government is a temporary government that is put in place in a country during a period of transition. This can happen when there is a change in the leadership of a country due to an unexpected event such as death or resignation of a leader, or when a country is undergoing a major political transition such as a revolution or a change in constitution. The interim government is tasked with maintaining stability and continuity until a permanent government can be established through democratic processes such as elections.
On the other hand, a parallel government is a structure that operates alongside an existing government, but is not recognized as legitimate by the established government. This can happen when a group or organization claims to represent a particular constituency or ideology, and establishes its own governance structures, often in opposition to the existing government. The parallel government can operate in secret or openly, and may engage in activities such as providing social services or even taking military action against the established government.
In summary, an interim government is a temporary government that is recognized as legitimate and tasked with maintaining stability during a period of transition, while a parallel government is a structure that operates outside the recognized government and is often in opposition to it. I just tire for Nigerians who think coup upon hearing the term interim government. And it's not as if Nigeria has not had an interim government before. Immediately after the annulment of 1993 presidential election, Babangida handed over to an interim government headed by Ernest Oshenekon who ruled for several months, and today the man is legitimately recognized as a former president of Nigeria. Interim government is not the result of coup, neither is it a parallel / rabel government. |

Shantyken: How many presidential candidates contested in 1993 In 2011 CPC got 35% in FCT, how many presidential candidates contested in 2011? This is a party that lost. APC was completely unpopular in 2023 presidential elections and they rigged themselves from 3rd to 1st position.

Just as it is impossible for a student to get 8 As and fail English in Waec, same way it is impossible for someone to get highest number of vote plus 25% in 24 states and fail to get 25% in FCT.
The fact that Tinubu failed to get 25% of votes in the FCT is enough proof that he did not get the highest number of votes in the last presidential election.
The FCT is a unique state that encompass almost equal number of people from different regions of Nigeria.
Going back as far as 1993 presidential election, no winner and runner up has ever failed to get 40% of votes in the FCT.

Can you please take a good look at yaself in the mirror
Your hypocrisy stinks . Smh
Don't mind them, throughout his campaign Peter Obi was simply responding to Tinubu's muslim-muslim ticket by telling christians to take a stand against it. That was exactly what happened in the leaked audio. Tinubu was actually the one that promoted religious politics, before him the presidential ticket has always been balances and no one would say don't vote Buhari because he is a muslim, because they know his vice is a Christian. |
