It depends on the bank. With Fidelity bank you will never experience network problem as long as the POS machine has network.

POS has debited me even when the transaction failed and even printed a receipt reversed but it took nearly a month for me to see the cash.

Nonsense, if something like that happen and you do not change to a different bank for cashless payment, then I don't know what to say to you. Something like that can never happen with fidelity bank.

The situation isn't funny at all and many Nigerians are really suffering due to this policy.

Let me share a very short and sad story with you.

I was at the market yesterday to get some groceries and provisions for the house. I made the payment via transfer because I didn't go with my ATM card. Unfortunately, I was debited immediately but the vendor didn't receive alert on his end.

I came to his shop around 3pm. You wouldn't believe that I waited till 6:30pm thinking that the alert will come in.

Lo and behold, Mr. vendor didn't get the alert.

I hard to return all the stuffs I bought. He collected my phone number and told me that he will call me once he sees the alert so that he can transfer my money back to me.

I was angry but I had to receive sense immediately because it wasn't his fault. He was just trying to play safe too.

I came home angrily and drank semovita with no Sugar.

The policy is just so annoying.

Who told you transfer is how you buy things cashless. Card payment is cashless payment not phone transfer. Next time use POS machine to transfer the money to the seller.

This and many more is proof that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation. Most businesses that ought to have POS machine to enable cashless payment don't have it. The government have to confiscate cash to force them. Even now most of them have not gone to get POS machine for their business.

Imagine just the other day I went to a seller of building materials to buy two bags of cement and nails, the shop is filled with all sorts of building materials, even selling wheelbarrows, but the man does not have POS machine. Both of us went to the POS agent next door and I paid the person N200 to transfer the money from my card to man's account.

When I think of the fact that this man has brand new big gen that he puts on whenever there is no light, but till last week doesn't deem it important to acquire a POS machine I can't help but believe that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation.

The most effective way to enforce cashless policy in Nigeria that is hitch free is for Nigerians to get credit bonus on each transaction made. Banks can't be debiting a charge for every transaction and Nigerians will expect cash to be in circulation after banks are already raking in millions from a forced cashless policy

The question is ? Who is triggering him to do it ? The streets is going to turn into a bloodsbath and tribal war will break out on the streets of Lagos and damn near ethnic cleansing or God forbid genocide. The question is what is prompting this man to make the moves he is making after losing the election ? Is he being sponsored to heAt up deez streetz or is his ego the driving factor ?

We Obidients are the ones edging Peter Obi on, we are the ones who insist that Tinubu not be allowed to run away with the stolen mandate.

Every time I transfer money additional N26 is deducted from my account. If this was all it would have been fine. Every time someone transfer money to me, N50 is deducted from my account.
