Agreeable, the country suffers from the 'Dutch disease', nonetheless, when we see what is white, lets not call it grey because. You know, the same Tom these guys a throwing 'firecrackers' for has done more harm than good to the ND. I am a Niger Deltan, pure breed. However, if Tompolo is guilty of the charges against him, let him be charged to cut and sentenced accordingly. You get my drift? |
Politics › Re: Tompolo: Armed Youths Blow-up Pipeline, Oil Facilities In Delta by E383: 7:50pm On Jan 15, 2016 |
You blow up a pipeline, you do yourself. The company considers this as sabotage and are not indebted in any way to carry out any remediation. On the other hand, you cause more harm to your people. The pipeline carrying crude which you blew up leaves crude all over the place which then follows the plume geometry and finds it's way into water aquifers. You polute the soil and your crops die, fishes die. Who loses? The government? |

marcondo13: UK is majorly for ignorant folks. Sharp guys school in the Schengen zone, which is largely tuition free. Why buy a cow when you can get its milk for free? You can check out Norway (competition na die at NTNU and Stavanger and it is open to 2:1 and above), Austria or Germany, but I think getting your documentation ready and getting a visa to Germany will be easier and faster than Austria, though,I can assist you on admission to study in English for MSc Petroleum Engineering at Montanuniversitat Leoben,if your CGPA is okay. As for Germany,it is competitive because Geosciences are majorly taught in English. Visit www.daad.de and input your search parameters. If you are interested in studying MSc Environmental and Resources Management, send a scanned copy of your transcripts to schaller@b-tu.de and Beatrice.nowotnick@b-tu.de. They will evaluate it and inform you if you are eligible to apply. As for visa, you will need a statement of account with 11000 euros to get an Austrian visa while you will need to transfer 8040 euros to a blocked account in your name in Germany. It is up to you. I am interested in this. Do have any information about a PhD in petroleum engineering from any of the institutions you have affiliations? I have interests in the Netherlands, been trying to get a contact, yet without success. Can you help? |

Unless you feel really awkward about it, I think you are just making a big deal out of it.
The lady obviously has moved on, so has her father, else, you'd have seen hell at that interview.
You better stop thinking about crap and do your job.
Nonetheless, I think this is fiction.

shawlxAk: You didn't state your OS version. I assume it's Win7 or later.
Go into Control Panel > Network and sharing center > Change adapter settings (upper left corner).
Right-click your WiFi adapter and click 'Properties' > Click 'Internet Protocol Version 4' in the 'This connection uses the following items' section, and click 'Properties' below.
Verify that the radio button labelled 'Obtain an IP address automatically' is selected, as well as the radio button labelled 'obtain a DNS server automatically.' Oh, alright, will try that now. |

Good evening house, I am really hoping this could be resolved here. Here is my challenge. Just last night, I tried to hibernate my system which is what I usually do whenever I have a major job I am on. This, each time I tried would redirect me to the Windows log in page. I tried this like 3times without success and then decided to restart the system if it would solve the problem. After this, the system refused to come on, displaying that there was a problem trying to start the system that I needed to do a restore, a blue screen showing a crash dump whatever. Since it was late, I forced a shut down. Before this event, I'd been browsing with my mobile phone's hot spot. Just this morning, the problem was resolved. Only that the system got very slow and I have been unable to browse the internet (it connects quite alright, but it does not load a web page). Mind you, the network is excellent. I tried very hard to use a public wifi which I usually did every week, this time, it connected but I still could not load a web page. I tried different browsers, Chrome, Mozilla, even the internet explorer I'd not used in eons. This is exhausting, *sigh. I need help ASAP. Please, somebody, anybody! I recently formatted my system and there is no restore point to fall back on. Please help. ShawlxAk, others. |
Romance › Re: When your bae says "I love you" by E383: 7:27am On Jan 11, 2016 |
Oahray: Op, don't start arguing against something without a clear definition of what you think it means. Would help avoid strawman arguments.
Love means different things to different persons, and no one is born with love in his heart. If it can grow, it can die.
I think it's the overly romanticized pic of love that has got you confused. The unconditional love farce. You want to see Cinderella's happily ever after in reality, innit?
Well, think of love as a flowering plant. It's existence and survival is very much conditional. After being planted, it needs to be watered constantly or it withers instead of blossoming.
Your argument is that if it withers, it was never a plant. Does that even sound reasonable to you? Reasonably dissected. Need I say more? Good one Oahray |

Oliviaarims: Yea, I'm still in school.. And it's not always about the faculty. Sometimes, it's just individual lecturers being unnecessarily mean. Oh well, you are right. But then again, such things are just to scare the lazy and subtly give them a nudge to find the easy path(You know what I mean). You know, there were crazy lecturers back then too, but they still had people outsmart them by pursuing what they felt was theirs, the A. I have a friend who was told that getting a First in Geology was a myth and only for God and that Geology was hell in UNIBEN. Dude saw it as a challenge, dusted his books and got out with a first. How about that? I get your point babe, but sometimes if we really put in good efforts into checking all the boxes before an exam, we may just end up successful. Unless your case is an act of God or your ancestors are sharing your destiny as kolanut. . Follow back. |
