pacesetter939:So anytime Buhari wants to rest he will jet off to the UK. That simply means he has no passion for Nigeria. |
APC does not give a hoot about the Chibok girls. Infact APC if anything is praying that those girls remain missing. The bitterness they show with the success of the military against Boko Haram makes it obvious . |
pacesetter939:What you should be bothered about is that Buhari disapeared for days without reason. That should give anyone cause for concern, we are talking about a presidential candidate here. Will he continue his disappearing acts if he becomes president (an impossibility)? |
CityNG:At number 2, Arik has never been involved in a fatal mishap so where does the horrid safety record come from? My major worry is that GMB remained incommunicado even days after the Chatam house charade. That brings back not so fond memories from the past. |
Ninilowo:Some people may find that derogatory. |
GenBuhari:LoL If you do not know your country's constitution then what are you doing in politics section? |
GenBuhari:Suggestion of the formation of a parallel government is a treasonable offense. |
All i know is what is good for Iwu is good for Jega. When it is time for Jega to go he will go. |
Ironi: olas24u: oweman:Children of anger. |
GenBuhari:If you typed this same thing during your Gen Buhari regime, you would have been arrested and shot in the head. |
This man has no iota of decorum.
|
Eggcelent:If Buhari gets arrested what do you think would happen? An easy excuse for the children of anger and violence to go on rampage. It is better to let him lose as usual. |
This man lacks any form of decorum.

He still looks fugly. ![]() |
This goes to show that radical Islam is not about poverty but a cancerous ideology. When these northern elders keep mute on Boko Haram what do you expect their wards to do? |
kastonkastrol:You sound funny. Can one just overrun a sovereign country without due permission. Or you think US just waltzed into Pakistan? Ignorance is bliss here. |
stan241: jayfolarin:Both of you lack deductive reasoning. |
She obviously does not want to get into the murky waters of Nigerian politics. |

Obituaries are personal so the family can write what they wish. |
Thank goodness for FOI bill. In Buhari's time we were left groping in the dark. NEVER AGAIN GEJ till 2019. |
So what happened to Ogedengbe and co. Buhari is a coupist dictator and no cooked up tale will change that. |
APC is waiting for you. Just cross over and you will become a saint. |
800,000? That is more than the population of Yenogoa. The way these people quote numbers carelessly is annoying. What is the population of Katsina city? |
darepoju:I find this shocking. From what you have said. These people become indoctrinated at a very early age. |
Amaechi has spent all of Rivers state money sponsoring Buhari yet he is relegated to being an errand boy. |
walemoney007:I thought we were talking about Ilorin and Ibadan? Did you even read my post? You seem to always want to bring in Enugu. I find it funny when you say that a city with a functional international airport is not major while one with a non functional local airport is. |
sauceny:All of you who are ready to use the US in making analogies. Is there any sane American who will vote a military coupist who ended a democracy into power? |
Resident doctors in Rivers State have threatened to embark on an indefinite strike from next week if Governor Rotimi Amaechi fails to pay their five months salary arrears. Most of the doctors who work at Braithwaithe Memorial Specialist Hospital, Port Harcourt, the state capital, said they would begin the strike from next week unless the salaries of doctors on internship and housemanship were paid immediately. President of the Association of Resident Doctors, ARD, Dr. Furo Tawari, who issued the warning in Port Harcourt told journalists that over 100 house or resident doctors serving at the specialist hospital were yet to be paid their salaries for five months. Tawari stated that based on the assurances of those who intervened in the matter and received commitment from Governor Amaechi that the salary arrears would be paid next week, the association would give the state government the opportunity to fulfill its promise. He warned that the failure of the government to pay the salaries would compel the doctors to stop work. The ARD president said, in the past, several appeals were made to the government on the matter without any positive response even as he declared that ARD was a non-partisan body and would like to avoid the disruption of activities at the hospital. He added that the association was also interested in the welfare of the patients and would only resort to strike option if the pleas of the association were ignored. Tawari said, as medical doctors, ‘’We must be physically and mentally balanced to attend to patients’’, and lamented the current emotional state of his colleagues over their unpaid salaries. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, in Rivers, Dr. Furo Green, has called for end to the continued kidnapping of doctors in the state. At a press conference in Port Harcourt, Green lamented that, in the last one week, three medical doctors had been abducted by gunmen in the state. He said two of the doctors were released with gunshot wounds while another, Dr. Owhunda Jack, a consultant at BMSH, was still in the den of his abductors. According to him, ‘’In the last five days, two doctors had been kidnapped and the third one shot, following an unsuccessful attempt at kidnapping him. ‘’Dr Jack Owhunda Omodu was kidnapped on Monday, February 16 about 7am at work. He has been in the kidnappers’ den since then. ‘’Consequently, he could not run his operation list, nor be available to see his patients in a ward round, ‘’ Green said. He warned that if the abductors of his colleague refused to let him go, doctors in the state might be forced to withdraw their services within 24 hours. Green warned that, “We shall no longer sit back and endure the kidnap of any doctor in Rivers State.” Nigerian Pilot gathered that abductors of the medical doctor are demanding a ransom of N80million for his release. http://nigerianpilot.com/strike-looms-as-gov-amaechi-owes-doctors-5-months-salaries/ |
Babacele:US, Niger, Cameroon, Chad, France, UK all have clueless governments? The developed countries amongst those listed had their citizens leave to join terror groups in Syria. Sometimes it is good to liberate your mind and look beyond the chants of sai Buhari. Do you not see that the joy exhibited by the opposition APC on any Boko Haram advance is a big pat on the back to the terror group. We are up against radical Islamic ideologies not just people wielding weapons. If the northern elites and religious leaders fail to continously speak out against terror because of political affiliations then we are fighting a very difficult battle. |
APC should stop living in self denial. What will a presidential candidate be doing for 2 weeks in a foreign land just days from the election. Is this how he is going to govern the country if he wins (an impossibility). Will he rule from UK? There is no need shrouding everything in secrecy, he is only human. |
